Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

Hello all (again) how are we?

according to my Flo app I am 3 days DPO, but judging by the awful cramps and nausea I had yesterday I think I ovulated then. I DTD on Saturday, last night and will try fit it in again tonight (though I'm about to start an 11 hour shift so will see if I have the energy!)

I have visions of waking my partner up with a positive test all wrapped up as a present on Christmas morning 🥰

@thelma57 ah how exciting! have you got your date through for your booking scan is it - the 12 week one?

it's been a painful cycle so far!! just cramps cramps cramps. yesterday was curl up on the bed with a hot water bottle and whimper kind of cramp, today it's dull but definitely there. It doesn't line up with when Flo thinks I've ovulated but I'm pretty sure it's ovulation - yesterday it was my left ovary hurting and today it's low down just above my pelvic bone. Very strange feeling!

@ElleBelleLou I’m so rooting for you that you get your BFP soon, I’m still chugging along
I only monitor my period and the nights we dtd, I was using the digital ovulating kits but apart from being expensive I was also too focused on getting a flashy smiley face and then panicking in case we’d missed the window.
Trying to relax about it and see what happens in the coming months, we have another 4 months of trying before the doc will see me for a blood test and start investigating

@BakedBean2016 thank you! I am hoping you get yours too - I've heard relaxing about it is one of the best things you can do (but also understand how bloody hard that is!). Hopefully December is the month for us both x

I was hoping for my bfp, currently my cycle is on day 27 (it’s usually 22-26), made the mistake of doing a test at 2am which was negative and a little disappointing so my period must literally be round the corner now

@BakedBean2016 ah no I am sorry to hear that! I hope it still turns into a BFP for you - and if it doesn't, it's the start of a new cycle x

So I'm 6DPO today - thought I was doing really well not even thinking about testing / if this month is my month but it's like I woke up this morning and all I can think about is is this the cycle?

So far I've been a bit crampy here and there, and my skin has gone horrendous - but only on my right cheek strangely. No symptoms to suggest I could be pregnant and ALSO I AM ONLY 6DPO (if I ovulated when Flo thinks I did) - how's everyone else doing? x

Hoping this is the one for you, it’s so hard to try and not think about it.
I am on cycle day 29 and still negative as I took a test this morning. According to Flo I am 3 days late so would still have another 4 days before it becomes a missed period. It’s so disheartening tho to be negative at 29 days so I won’t test again till around the 33 day mark which will be Monday.
We DTD on day 13 so depending on when I ovulated perhaps it was later
My worry is that it’s peri-menopause so my chances are a lot smaller

Hey @thelma57, I'm okay thank you for asking! Even though it's still early for me (10DPO today according to Flo) I'm pretty sure I'm out - no symptoms whatsoever but haven't tested since Friday (which was obviously a BFN)

Had my works do on Saturday and let my hair down quite a bit and had a proper drink for the first time in a while so I don't mind that it's not my month! I plan to enjoy Christmas now xx

11DPO today and feel really nauseous 😬

This is really really early testing, I think maybe 7-9 days before period due. But do you think there is a faint shadow at the bottom?

Can I jump on board? Early testers are my kind of people. I seem to enjoy testing knowingly too early, sure that I will be the anomaly who gets a positive result at 5 dpo 😝
My cycles are pretty irregular due to PCOS and just weaning my 21 month old off me this last week. I’m teething LH and waiting to ovulate atm. Also really anxious that I’ve left it too long when I wanted a small gap between them 😅

@Calmondeck I think I can see what you mean but I never trust those tests - pink dye ones are more reliable for me! Have you got a first response you could try?

@BeaKind hello and welcome!! you're exactly like me - currently 10 DPO and 99% sure I'm out but still sat in my works toilet with a test balanced on the toilet roll holder next to me 🤣🤣 good luck for this cycle!

....and of course it's the biggest fattest BFN!

I’m out this cycle too, 30 day cycle is unheard of for me usually 22-26 days but all the test were BFN so was actually relieved when Aunt Flo arrived on Saturday

@BakedBean2016 onto the next cycle! As sad as it is to have the BFN I do strangely find comfort in AF arriving and being able to move onto a new cycle.
I hate the two week wait and I hate the wait for AF once you're sure you're out!

Hey 👋 how’s everyone doing?

I’m still unpatiently waiting for ovulation at CD27. Not a sniff of high LH levels from my OPKs and temperature is all over the place 🙄

Oh and had a close friend and cousin announce their pregnancies this month 😣 so so happy for them of course, but it does hurt a bit even though we’ve not been trying that long.

@BeaKind hey! I'm due to ovulate tomorrow, but I think my cycles are a bit whack as AF came very early for me before this cycle!

It's horrible seeing others announce it - like we should be happy for them but I can't shake the jealousy I feel. I'm a manager and a girl on my team is coming up to 12 weeks and I know I'll have to coo over the scan, then eventually I'll have to plan her maternity presents when I just wish it was me! She's had a really hard time too so needed a lot of support from me which I've of course given but it's bringing back painful memories from my miscarriage.

How long have you been trying? xx
