Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

Yeah that batch of tests is weird, the control line is quite far over too!

I absolutely will be testing in the morning! Not really trusting that line as it seems to disappear when I looked at it an hour or so later 🤷‍♀️

@thelma57 I'm definitely feeling better! Managed to finally eat at about 7pm, once it all settled. God knows what it was!

I managed to not test this morning (at 7DPO) so roll on tomorrow morning when I'll be testing at 8DPO - hopefully there'll be a little hint of a BFP 🤞🏻

9DPO for meeee, I’ve tested this morning and similar to yesterdays, if you weren’t really really looking you’d say BFN, but we’re still early so not giving up hope!

My nipples are still sore and they look massive 😂

There’s a boots right next to my hotel so depending on how I feel might try a frer for 10DPO tomorrow 🤷‍♀️

Hey can I join? This def sounds like the group for me I’ve been early testing every month with no joy.. until this month. Tested at 9dpo yesterday very very faint line on FRER, hard to even pick up on camera. Retested this morning at 10dpo and something def a little bit more prominent there though still very light. It does have a pink tinge to it in real life but camera not picking up? What do yous think? I could do with a bit of advice 😂 is there something there worth getting excited about??

My IC had me really squinting couldn’t pick anything at all up on a camera at 9dpo. Just went straight for the first response today think I’ll go back to using the IC next week if I keep seeing like progression. This is the first time ever seeing anything on a test so just trying to be cautious and not get overly excited!

@ElleBelleLou ahh thank you!! Weirdly like you I had a really vivid dream on Halloween night, just so out of the ordinary - I thought for sure something is up with this! Really hoping this is your month 🤍🤍

I said to myself I would wait until tomorrow (9DPO) but couldn't help myself this morning and did a clear blue, BFN but hoping it's just too early to detect yet! Think I will get a FRER on Friday and test then! Woke up this morning with sore head and throat, so of course I've convinced myself lol!! This 2ww is exhausting!

@Niamhyc thank you 💕 8dpo is still super early def get the FRERs in if you are gonna test early. I did an IC before the first response yesterday and had nothing, then went straight to the FR this morning. If my lines keep getting darker I’ll use the IC next week.
Ive had a sore throat and sneezing a lot which I saw someone in another thread mention. I think it’s all in my head 😂 after I saw the line yesterday I felt nauseous all day but dunno if I would have if I hadn’t seen the line lol

Im 6dpo today not yesterday 🤦‍♀️miscalculated the days but my mood is totally off today! I feel so angry and just in a bad mood - are mood swings a symptom?

@Niamhyc I would get a FRER - in my experience clearblue are a bit rubbish at picking anything up early!

@Enn1234 I think mood swings could definitely be a symptom - due to all the hormones if something is happening! Hopefully it's a good sign for you!

I'm okay today, feel a lot less sick than yesterday but still not 100%, I can feel it all up in my throat like food is sitting there! I've also got a banging headache but all this could be due to work stress cause it's all been a bit manic. Though of course I am hoping it's all somehow related to a BFP i'll get this month 😂

Went out and got one of the clear blue early digital. Couldn’t hold out to first wee tomorrow so did it there and it’s came back pregnant ❤️ Honestly seeing it in words 😭 I have been feeling very nauseous but dunno if it’s all in my head/ my husband gave me major eye rolls when I said I feel sick after seeing the line on the test 😂 the symptom spotting is the worst honestly every month I have had every symptom under the sun

Fingers crossed for some BFPs for us all this month.

Question (to stop me incessantly googling / my brain melting)... I use digital clearblue ovulation kit which I find really useful.

Do you think I should take my ovulation date as the first static smiley, or is ovulation usually the day after that?

Static smiley was CD15 and today is CD24.

Had stabbing on lower left abdomen this morning and now have what feels exactly like early period pains but I'm not due for another 5 days or so.

Really hoping I'm not out for the month but also don't want to test before AF is due as it upsets me every month seeing a BFN,

Cycle ranges from 30-34 days usually

I'm no expert but that looks like a positive to me! Super early though, maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought?

Maybe I did ovulate a little earlier. Bloody hell!!! 🤣🤣 I'm in shock.

I'm not going to test for a few days and see what happens but either way, I'm so relieved because after nearly a year of trying at 35, I was so scared I couldn't conceive at all. Fingers crossed it gets darker 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@LMTx ahhh big congratulations! It's the best feeling seeing it on a digital! I must have spent half my salary on those - the weeks indicator one only stays on for a day or two, but the one that just says Pregnant lasted for so long 🤍

@monsteramunch hello and welcome! I've never tracked ovulation myself (though I get ovulation cramps so badly it's like my body is screaming at me that it's time), but the cramping feeling could hopefully be implantation cramps? I had that with my pregnancy in Feb, had to keep going to the toilet to check if I was bleeding.

@overthinkersanonnymus oooh a tentative congratulations! This is feeling like a lucky thread already! I can see colour in the line so that hopefully means not an indent - I feel like you must have definitely ovulated earlier than you thought because it's quite a strong line in my eyes! It could be worth getting a FRER to see a darker line, or maybe a digital? 😍

My back has been killing all day and boobs still sore! Went to boots and got a frer for the morning @ElleBelleLou I thought it was a sign too 😂

If I don’t get a BFP I think I’m ill cos I feel so off!

@monsteramunch i’ve never used the clear blue ovulation, I just just OPK strips so I can’t say for certain, sorry!
