@Minster2012 apparently didn't learn from the last time and is once again letting me loose behind the wheel whilst she enjoys her well earned rest! I'm just back from the Post Office sorting office where I managed to illegally intercept a relative's passport that he needs urgently but didn't have time to wait for the post. And this was after spending ages on the phone today to the passport office trying to get the thing expedited. The things I end up having to do. I'm exhausted from all my bullshitting 🙄

On the way over there I turned on the heated seats in the car and DH went mental - "my boys my boys you're going to fry my boys" 😂

Bedtime. So exhausted.

New thread, new check in!

Waiting for DP to spaff in a cup so we can get our referral to the fertility clinic. Also need to have day 2 bloods done to check in my low prolactin levels and have another trasnvaginal scan booked because my new GP surgery wants to repeat the scan for itself.

Coming up to a year of TTC on irregular periods. Seemingly nothing else wrong. Don’t know if I can even face trying this month, all feels a bit pointless. Like trying the same thing again and and again but expecting a different result!

Lol for @Somatronic frying DH’a boys with the heated seats. We’ve recently moved to a place with no shower so currently only having baths…. I do wonder what the SA will say!!

@blackcurrantqueen I used to binge watched desperate housewives on my night feeds, that’s how long ago it was! Thank you, the knitting is going well, the barbers made a lovely corner display so I have my little shop, and I am starting to get orders of Facebook too, so glad she encourage me to start this
@InkyPaper get you, you’re welcome to stay here, I occasionally —twice a week— visit the sidecar bus, just pop in sometimes until you are ready to sit, when is the scan?
@Manifestingbaby well have a way to stop, I mostly stop tracking and scheduling sex a couple of cycles ago, this is just not preventing, I don’t want to get back in contraception, we’ve decided on the snip, but as dh will have to sort that out, it could take long, @juno suggested we don’t prevent until nature takes care of that, but I don’t know if I won’t get hopeful every month, I haven’t yet but still cd 20, ask me again at cd 27!

@pennysays I get the same feelings of ‘We tried that and it didn’t work’, but I just keep looking at the statistics and the BFPs on this bus after a long time trying. That’s reassuring me at the moment… although ask me on CD1 and see if I can be positive then! I find my mood is so tied to my cycle stages at the moment, which I’m pretty sure isn’t healthy.

@Franklydear and @Manifestingbaby we’re here for you whatever you decide. Such a difficult choice. You do have to trust yourselves though and choose what feels right for you at the time.

Off for my day 21 (except day 20 for me) blood test at 9:30. At least I have a late start at work!

CD10 for me today and ovulation still a long way off. We're going away right over my predicted fertile window too - has anyone still temped on holiday? I'm from the UK and going to Jamaica. Not sure how the time and temperature difference will affect things. Though it might be nice to just forget about it this month...

I saw what you said on the previous thread about contraception @Manifestingbaby and I agree, it'll help crystallise your feelings over time. And sex for fun again is seriously underrated (I weirdly enjoyed the period of time where we weren't trying and using condoms)

I'm on CD12. DTD last night and will every other day now until positive OPK. Fell asleep on the sofa until 4am so today's temp is useless 😂 Thankfully it's not an important one!

@Franklydear and when you've had one naturally before there's always going to be a bit of hope. Which is fine if you can cope with that but I think I'm coping less and less lately. Definitely like you @BellatrixK and finding my mood very tied to my cycle. Good look eith the tests.

Oh thank you for that @larrythelizard that's actually really reassuring. I feel slightly bonkers thinking about preventing after all this time trying but it's the only thing I feel I have control and hoping it will give me a chance to clear my head. It feels good to hear you say that about a break, like I'm on the right path. Definitely ready for some fun, that obligatory feeling has really crept in lately and it's definitely a libido killer!

A massive libido killer @Manifestingbaby and also the constant should I book this bottomless brunch/exciting non-preggo suitable holiday/go for this job just in case I might have been pregnant. It's exhausting.

@larrythelizzard soooo exhausting. I'm drained. Hopefully if I have a few months to work on changing my mindset and just having no expectations then maybe I can go back to just not preventing, if that feels right? So we don't have any regrets

@Manifestingbaby the anxiety hasn't been as bad as it was but it's still there. I feel like I'm lying to people about being pregnant 🙈 it's going to be a very long couple of weeks until the scan!
