@Minster2012 apparently didn't learn from the last time and is once again letting me loose behind the wheel whilst she enjoys her well earned rest! 10dpo bfn so that's probably it really. I'm sure I'll test again but the little bit of hope is getting littler.

Morning all, taking my seat on the new bus.
CD32 BFN yesterday but my opks were erratic so I don't think I've ovulated yet. Waited 7 months for AF to show last time so not expecting her anytime soon.
In the meantime still waiting for a scan date to check for pcos and dr has agreed to a blood test for thyroid checks

Full flow over here. The last few periods have been fine for me emotionally but for some reason this one really upset me. I was in bad form all evening yesterday over it. I'm fine, I think I'm just so fed up and sick of all this. I was really hoping not to have to do IVF I suppose but at least that should be starting in April if the clinic ever bother to contact me! Also at the weekend I learned that 2 other couples I know are pregnant which doesn't help.

Well after all my complaining the nurse rang me today and I'm starting this month on my protocol! I'm so excited! I was dreading another month of doing it the good old fashioned way and failing for the millionth time.

I start Northisterone around the 21st of this month which suits me fine as I have taken a week's annual leave for St Patrick's week and I think I'll enjoy the break much better if I'm not taking tablets/having my head stuck into IVF. She reckons that the egg collection will be the week of the 11th April which also suits as work will be quiet that week and the following week for the Easter break so it's all working out nicely.

Hopping on to try and keep up and keep an eye on everyone!

@LoveQ could be implantation bleeding, try testing 3 days after if you still haven't had AF.

@Sunbird24 itching for that reset button is understandable, hope you get back on track soon.

I have a doctors appointment this week, going to see if I can get some tests done to check for PCOS, cos after looking into it I have quite a few of the signs, though no excess hair growth. I didn't realise you didn't necessarily have pain with it, I guess I was confusing it with endo. I've been really struggling with weightloss for quite some time, so it'd be nice to have an answer to that.

@Dawnbird I've never had pain with PCOS. It's a spectrum disease so people's symptoms vary wildly. My main symptom was bad skin. Not even acne, my skin just became congested and that's how I was diagnosed. I presume the doctor will do bloods and order a scan?

Thanks all, AF came yesterday, was super light so I was a little confused still but its definitely here now, I don't feel too bad about it, I feel more relieved it's actually happened one way or the other lol

I'm thinking of taking a break for 2 months though as I'm bridesmaid in May and I need to completely focus on weight loss, exercise and want to be able to enjoy the hen party/ wedding.

@Somatronic excellent news! I'm really excited for you. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. 🤞 I think it's a relief once you realise something proper is happening and you can move on and actually try something that might work!? Once you've come to the conclusion that it really isn't working on your own. That's how I felt anyway.
@LoveQ Sorry about AF. A break can sometimes be good mentally, especially if you have other stuff happening.

@pennysays I think twins would terrify me. I am determinedly TTC but slightly overwhelmed by the thought of actually caring for a child at the end, so two would scare me!

Guys, I’m getting really twitchy to test. Think I might tomorrow at 10dpo. Mainly because I’ve seen a great job at a school really near me (my current one is one 45 mins away in good traffic) and isn’t the best school. I have a good chance of getting the new job I think. Maybe if I get a BFN I might risk applying for it. It a September start though, so I could still end up pregnant before then… why is it all so complicated???

@BellatrixK test if you want but if it’s negative that doesn’t mean you aren’t pregnant. Apply for the job anyway you have no idea what will happen in the next 9 months

I feel pretty ill today, got up with a headache, after lunch got explosive diarrhoea, and nausea all day, it doesn’t help that I got close contact in the covid app, and that day someone I don’t normally see hug me and now I am paranoid

@Minster2012 last time I chased up with the drs they were really rude so will probably wait another couple of weeks as having a few weeks off ttc to try to avoid Christmas baby.
@lakejupiter can I ask which inositol you're taking? I've been taking mine for about 3 months and am still awaiting my new woman moment.

@Somatronic I've had acne worse as an adult than a teenager, and it's been reallly bad lately, ugh. Then there's the irregular periods, trouble losing weight, and a few other things.

@Franklydear I've been feeling pretty blah, it's not fun. Sore stomach, cough, mild headaches for a few days now. Covid test negative at least, which is good. I've got too much work to do to be isolating.

@lakejupiter unremarkable is a good thing in this instance!

CD22 and still waiting for that temp rise here, have had fertile CM at least. If I don't get the temp chart ironing out, I'm going to find a better thermometer for next cycle and maybe look at vaginal temping.
