@Minster2012 apparently didn't learn from the last time and is once again letting me loose behind the wheel whilst she enjoys her well earned rest! You can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where lots of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

We have had over 100 BFPs on this thread since @Minster2012 took over including 2 on the last thread so we need to keep our lucky run going, no slacking ladies!

Anything goes and NOTHING is TMI on this bus! Whether you're doing it the old fashioned way or with some help from science, we're all waiting for those 2 pink lines and are here to support each other and try to stay (somewhat) sane along the way

Ahhh sorry @Dawnbird I did t realise you were in NZ yeah that might mean different options

@Franklydear shhhhhhhhhh

Franklydear · 07/03/2022 07:01

Cd 25 @Minster2012 and nothing happening....

larrythelizard · 07/03/2022 16:34

Catching up after a weekend away.

It's like a sucker punch isn't it @Somatronic? Sending love. Ooooh exciting the clinic have finally fired into action!!

@Manifestingbaby ❤️❤️❤️

I think a break can be really helpful @LoveQ - helped my brain/general well-being (other than weight loss as I had a lovely time eating and eating and drinking!)

Probably a good thing if all looking internally @lakejupiter and good to have a plan for this cycle.

Oh @Franklydear sorry to hear you're poorly

Ooooooh @BellatrixK 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 that's decent for 10dpo. Ostrich is all about burying your head on the sand and pretending it isn't happening! We're on the side car as and when you're ready.

Glad you've got a plan @Sunbird24 and sounds like giving yourself enough time to heal before going again.

Weird sentence coming up but very pleased to hear about your sore boobs @InkyPaper!

Ooh @Dawnbird I had also missed you were in NZ, that's exciting!

Minster2012 · 07/03/2022 16:56

I'm not saying anything @Franklydear 🤞🏻

Misty1990 · 07/03/2022 17:05

Hiyaaaa... My friend told me to join this thread... I don't know if this is the last place to ask this but thought I'd give it a try ....Currently ttc and wanted some advice ... Over the last few days I've had a give type rash over my body and stabbing pains in my uterus ... I'm 7dpo ... Just wanted to know if anyone else had this rash or am I kidding myself into thinking I may actually be pregnant? Thanks in advance.... If this is the wrong place to ask just tell me to shut up 😂

Franklydear · 07/03/2022 17:26

@larrythelizard I am not feeling ok but not that ill either,
@Minster2012 I am not late at cd 25 as I had longer and don't know when I ovulated, so al dente?
@Misty1990 you found us? It's everything goes here, do you know what we called your friend? I don't know, hope someone comes along with an answer but 7 dpo is a bit early to know either way

Franklydear · 07/03/2022 17:45

Tmi but today I thought I came on at work, went to the loo, and when wiping I felt a lot of... wet? and it was a big blop of quite clear cm, don't know what to make of it! bizarre, but then again isn't every cycle, why wouldn't the last one be?

larrythelizard · 07/03/2022 18:32

I've given up trying to understand bodies @Franklydear maybe a bit of 🍆 just in case?

Franklydear · 07/03/2022 18:53

@larrythelizard seems to be our answer to everything 😂 af should be imminent but what do I know?

pennysays · 07/03/2022 21:06

@Misty1990 7dpo would be very early (although) possible for implantation but you probably wouldn’t expect to have hormones strong enough to have symptoms now unless you ovulated earlier. I’ve never heard of a rash! Can you hang on for a bit longer before testing? Symptom spotting will drive you crazy!

Dawnbird · 07/03/2022 21:13

@larrythelizard have this hilarious mental image of a lady inspecting eggplants at the supermarket, wondering if this one will work this time... while the teenage staff look on in horror at her expression Grin

Ordered a thermometer with 2 DP as well as some OPKs for next month, though I do seem to be seeing a temp spike after OV. 3/4 days are over the average line, and the 4th day was low on Sunday when I woke up, but after going back to sleep for an hour and a half (and not doing anything else/getting up) was well over, so I took note of both. I tried the waiting a few mins after waking up to temp and still getting a lot of temps in the 35.9* range, though more of them around the time of OV. Maybe I'm a lizard. /ramble

InkyPaper · 08/03/2022 09:51

@larrythelizard thanks! 🤣 DH keeps poking them which is not helping with the pain 🤣

@Misty1990 hives normally suggest some kind of allergic reaction - I've had rashes like that before and it's usually because I've encountered an allergen of some kind. As the others have said, 7dpo is a wee bit early to tell but if the rash doesn't go I'd definitely go see you GP.

@Franklydear why are our bodies so weird?!

BellatrixK · 08/03/2022 17:59

Welcome @Misty1990 no ideas on the rash, but I’d say try and wait a few more days then test?

@Franklydear always got my fingers crossed for my cycle twin. How are you today?

@Dawnbird lol at the eggplants! Hope that the new thermometer helps.

Spiralling a little here. My GP want to tell me that my progesterone levels were 27.5 which is low and could indicate no ovulation (invite not in this case). I’m concerned that is what has caused the losses previously. I’ve tried to ask for progesterone pessaries, but he said he didn’t know that low progesterone could be a cause of miscarriage, so I’ve got to wait a week for him to call me back about that. But my test today was darker, so trying to cling to that. I hope that it’s okay to post still here.

Franklydear · 08/03/2022 18:10

@BellatrixK better, I don't feel ill anymore, but a bit nauseous and very wet but nothing there at cd 26, so still in limbo, I finally posted the DLA forms for ds today so that's a loaf off my mind and all negativity gone now, sorry your doctor is an ignorant ass, how are you?

Juno231 · 08/03/2022 18:43

@BellatrixK a week?? Can you go to EPU to have it prescribed instead? Your GP is taking the piss

BellatrixK · 08/03/2022 19:07

I know. EPU have said no as it isn’t an emergency and have said go back to GP. Really struggling with what to do.

Thank you though guys.

Minster2012 · 08/03/2022 19:15

@BellatrixK it's so hard. Do you follow me on Insta? If so can you message me please x

BellatrixK · 08/03/2022 19:21

Hi @Minster2012 just sent you a message.

Dawnbird · 08/03/2022 20:01

@BellatrixK you'd -better- post here! No cliffhangers!

BellatrixK · 08/03/2022 20:36

Haha! Really grateful for my support here ladies 💕

larrythelizard · 08/03/2022 21:33

FFS it makes me so cross the lack of care and attention for women who are newly pregnant @BellatrixK. Sending love, positivity and hope 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Franklydear · 09/03/2022 06:03

@BellatrixK I find that sometimes you have to be downright rude, or rather direct, with some doctors to not be dismissed as a nervous lady, I made a receptionist laugh years ago when she said you’ll be seeing doctor Moore, and replied no, I won’t cos if I wanted to be patronised and talked down to by an old git I would just go to church.
Cd 27 here, and I am a bit hmm that dh hasn’t asked when af is due yet, he’s usually more on the ball, they have suppliers problems at work, maybe he’s preoccupied

Minster2012 · 09/03/2022 06:56

Poor doctor Moore 😂@Franklydear are you just waiting AF out?

Franklydear · 09/03/2022 07:00

@Minster2012 last time I saw him, he told me it was a bad thing I found out I was pregnant only a few weeks in because nothing happens for ages, and that was after a loss, it’s not entertainment mate... yes, just waiting out at the moment, will reconsider eventually when forced to do so

Somatronic · 09/03/2022 09:38

Dr Moore sounds like a prick. That story made me laugh @Franklydear

Thinking of you @BellatrixK and sending love xx

Does anyone know anything about Care? I think they're a British IVF service? I'm attending their clinic here but because there's so little regulation etc in Ireland I don't really have anywhere to seek advice. They've added a few expensive add ons to my bill without me ever expressly agreeing to them. It's adding nearly €2k onto my bill which came as a shock. It's the embryoscope and CareMaps - so I guess I'm being billed for the use of the embryoscope and then again for them to look at the images.

Does anyone have any experience of these? I had intended not to use them but then I got the bill and I don't seem to have a choice, but I might ring and ask if they can be removed? Unless they'll make a big difference? I remember people here saying that they didn't have them and it wasn't a big deal. Any advice gratefully received.

Oh and I'm telling my boss about IVF tomorrow! Any tips welcome! I work in a very stressful environment with a boss who can't do anything without me and gets anxious when I'm not there.
