@Minster2012 apparently didn't learn from the last time and is once again letting me loose behind the wheel whilst she enjoys her well earned rest! You can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where lots of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

We have had over 100 BFPs on this thread since @Minster2012 took over including 2 on the last thread so we need to keep our lucky run going, no slacking ladies!

Anything goes and NOTHING is TMI on this bus! Whether you're doing it the old fashioned way or with some help from science, we're all waiting for those 2 pink lines and are here to support each other and try to stay (somewhat) sane along the way

Thank you so much guys.

I’m only 10dpo, AF due Wednesday. But there’s a job I was thinking of spending a few hours today applying for but it would risk losing maternity pay so I thought I’d rule out a BFP before spending the time on that. I am so excited, but trying to reign it in!

I’ll probably test again on Tuesday. I’m most scared of digitals. I’ve never had beyond 1-2 on them, so I’ll probably try one next weekend and pray for 2-3.

@Franklydear ostrich? @Minster2012 you may have to explain that to me!

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 08:11

@Vil10 better, it was just a headache in the morning and then we went for lunch to a lovely cafe and a bit of clothes shopping for ds, and boom, overwhelmed, feel ok today , I am better in general, my work accommodations are working wonders and I don’t feel that awful fatigue anymore, I even started to do a bit more, specially at home, work can wait, I am on knickers watch, I don’t feel pmsy but feel weird, but then this year has been a rollercoaster so why wouldn’t I?

pennysays · 06/03/2022 08:21

Squeee! Reigning in my excitement @BellatrixK but would like to see a plan for testing….

Don’t know about this job, feel like you should put application in anyway, practice applications and interviews are good anyway!

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 08:28

@BellatrixK that’s a good idea, specially if you haven’t interviewed in a while

Minster2012 · 06/03/2022 09:44

@Dawnbird was your thermometer the one with one digital place? When the CM goes to creamy that's a sure sign I think

@BellatrixK that's fantastic def there 🥰🥳the ostrich is kinda like how @InkyPaper is feeling now, burying head in the sand cos you know that a BFP doesn't necessarily mean a baby, so yes it's great & of course the first step but you don't really feel excited because of past things. Trying to forget about it is so much easier said than done 😬the job it's a tough one. Personally I'd still go for it & try as you are currently working on "what ifs" and good practice then you can decide more

@InkyPaper how are you??? You aren't a fraud we all kinda felt like "I'm not actually pregnant yet" til we had it confirmed more

@Sunbird24 have you got a plan to sort your retained out??

@dmb91 ah yes I remember the Xmas baby, and if they were rude then 😩but I'd still chase & get rude myself tbh

@Manifestingbaby sending hugs to you & of course the hope for your "not you aren't trying" baby "accident" 🥰

@lakejupiter as useful as a choc fireguard springs to mind 🤪you prob don't have PCOS then but it sounds like you've got a good plan for insemming this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Franklydear get thee to bed

LoveQ · 06/03/2022 09:47

@Manifestingbaby so sorry to read that 😞

@lakejupiter sounds like you've got a good plan in place for this month 🤞🏻

@bellatrixK ah I see it 😄😄

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 10:31

@Minster2012 I am enjoying my morning crocheting on the sofa, back on ds minecraft Steve blanket , before I get something else to do, I really feel fine now, no idea what it was yesterday, not covid tested negative again today

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2022 10:35

@Minster2012 I’ve got another 3.5-4hr drive today so going to do the additional dose of misoprostol when I get there and hope for the best. I’m seeing the consultant again Thursday morning either way who will sort it out surgically if it doesn’t come out with the drugs.
I’m up where my new job is going to be this weekend so spent yesterday catching up with some old friends who I’ve not seen for about 6 & 11 years respectively, so that’s a great start on my support network. I won’t be trying again until June now because of the training etc required for the new job, but that’ll also give my body time to recover from the current crisis. 🤞

Minster2012 · 06/03/2022 12:51

@Sunbird24 that sounds like a lovely weekend then, sorry I thought you had already moved. But sounds like a great way to not only take your mind off it but also get support network up...just make sure though if you are bleeding that you also look after yourself

@Franklydear well I'm pleased you are feeling better xx

DS & I am hour and a half into 3 hour road trip to see my friend then on Tuesday we have a play date with another friend & meeting her beautiful girls 👀

BellatrixK · 06/03/2022 13:35

@Franklydear I’m glad that you’re feeling better and that work are accommodating you so well. Keep looking after yourself. This blanket sounds amazing… is there anything you can’t do?

Ohh, definitely a long journey @Minster2012, but that does like a lovely trip! Yep- I’m 100% an ostrich!

@Sunbird24 again that drive sounds challenging, but so lovely that you’re visiting your new place and catching up with people. Definitely good to have lots to look forward to. Hope everything is okay on Thursday, and we’re here with you every step of the way.

Thanks everyone. I’m definitely not going to apply for the job now- I don’t think I’d get proper maternity pay if everything works out and we definitely couldn’t afford to risk that. I know nothing is guaranteed with this, but I’m just going to try and keep positive, stay ostrich and chill!

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 14:51

Thank you all, your support is greatly appreciated 🥰
@Sunbird24 sounds like an exciting move!
@Minster2012 amazing trip, even with the extra breaks, lovely mummy -beast time before baby
@BellatrixK I would probably do the same, but might have put the application in to see if any interest, work are doing the bare minimum but I am refusing to do any more so they kinda have to shrug their shoulders, there's plenty I can't do, organize my time efficiently to do the housework for one, much prefer to crochet squares for a blanket....

Dawnbird · 06/03/2022 21:01

@BellatrixK Definitely a line! Congrats!!

Dawnbird · 06/03/2022 21:04

@Minster2012 yeah, apparently I need a better one. Will rely on the CM for this cycle. I think I ovulated yesterday by that mark, which is bang on time wise. (14 days before expected AF)

Dawnbird · 06/03/2022 21:09

... or 3 days ago, which is still bang on, because apparently I just have no sense of time.

At least this 2ww is going quickly?

InkyPaper · 06/03/2022 21:14

@Manifestingbaby I'm so sorry about the BFN ❤️ look after yourself ❤️

@Somatronic is great you have a start date for the Norethisterone! Once that gets started it feels like things finally start moving and move quickly. And a break before it all starts sounds even better!

@Sunbird24 big hugs 🤗

@BellatrixK Cautious congratulations and fingers crossed for you! I can definitely see a line on that test 🤞🏻

@Franklydear glad you're feeling a little better today! Sounds like you had it really rough yesterday!

@Minster2012 I am definitely still being an ostrich 😂 I'm doing OK thanks, just taking each day as it comes. It feels a little like me and DH are just holding our breath to see what the scan says! Boobs are absolutely killing me right now 😂 I was meaning to thank you actually - I got a bra from Molke and it's so much comfier than wired bras! Hard to get on and off though 😂 I'm glad it's not just me that feels like a fraud

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2022 21:18

@InkyPaper fingers crossed for you! I recommend the zip front stretchy crop top bras from Sainsbury's if you’ve got one near you - they do have removable pads in but I’ve taken them out as I’m struggling enough to fit in my clothes at the moment…

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 21:25

@InkyPaper I get front fasting? bras from Matalan’s, super comfy but supportive too, no wires

InkyPaper · 06/03/2022 22:00

@Sunbird24 @Franklydear thanks for the suggestions! Do they go up to bigger sizes, do you know? I've already gone up to a GG 😂🙈

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 22:13

@InkyPaper I got dd and it was about the middle of the table I think

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2022 22:13

I’ve grown well beyond my previous DDs, but no idea what current size is! 🤭

Minster2012 · 06/03/2022 22:15

Ahhh I see @Dawnbird yeah I got the Femometer one from Amazon, wasn't expensive at the time but no idea what it's like now! Ha ha well losing 3 days is better than gaining them!

Omg @InkyPaper yes the molke bras are fab but not easy to put on & obviously expensive 😫I said to my mum yesterday I think we need another remeasure as I could barely put mine yesterday but once on it felt ok so I think it's more the weight I've put on my arms and back for getting into the things?? I went from a 34D to a 34HH last time of measuring & I put an underwired bra on last Sunday that still fits & by 3pm I had actual red rub patches from the wire, not going near one again 😬totally get the breath hold, each day is a step closer 🥰

paintfairy · 06/03/2022 22:30

Jesus. Massive boobs everywhere! I'm really struggling with bras too @InkyPaper but I'm not a GG. Luckily mine weren't huge to begin with. I did buy some more but I seem to be outgrowing those now too! And I don't want to spend loads when they won't fit 2 minutes. And I'm still in ostrich mode too. No idea how long it lasts.......
@Sunbird24 I'll have a look at sainsburys. Thanks for the suggestion! @Franklydear I hadn't seen those either. My last ones were just non wired from matalan.

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 22:48

@paintfairy non wired fasten at the back do nothing for me, but fasten at the front is a game changer and easy to put on too

Franklydear · 06/03/2022 22:49

@paintfairy I was a c, then pregnant with ds went to EE, settled in d/dd afters, I am dreading another pregnancy in that sense, not that is any danger of that, clearly....

Dawnbird · 06/03/2022 23:43

@Minster2012 I'll have to check out amazon, the au site actually has decent shipping options here these days.

They're not cheap, but I love Cadenshae's sports bras. They're based here in NZ, but I believe they have a UK site. They do maternity sports wear mostly, but their bras have a lot of give and are designed to fit multiple sizes, which is great when you're changing shape. They're very supportive too. Their biggest size is H-J. They all come with extender straps too, so lots of band sizing options.

Love their maternity tights and feeding hoodies too - designed to fit well either BF or PG.
