Thank you 🌈

Bundaberg84 · 13/01/2022 11:16

I'd like to join as well if it's alright - TTC after an ectopic last summer.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:24

Does anyone know if there is a pregnancy after miscarriage thread? I'm really struggling 💔

calimc83 · 13/01/2022 11:28

@Hopingforarainbow27 Hope you are ok? I'm sure there is somewhere....let me see if I can find it x

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:31

I've just so much anxiety. Only slept 3 hours last night. I know I should be happy but I'm just convinced it's going to happen again @calimc83 thank you x

Bundaberg84 · 13/01/2022 11:33

@Hopingforarainbow27 I found this one that seems active: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/4360886-Pregnancy-after-miscarriage

Hopingforarainbow27 · 13/01/2022 11:35

@Bundaberg84 thank you so much!

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 11:36

@Bundaberg84 welcome ✨ sorry to hear about your ectopic. X
@Hopingforarainbow27 it will be hard just try and take it day by day. Were all here if you need to talk 💕 xx

@Hopingforarainbow27 totally get that...maybe see about speaking to a midwife early on? See if that might help x

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 11:49

I'm just joining this if you don't mind. I dipped into the last thread but wasn't very active because I was going to just 'see what happens' over the next couple of months, but now I'm obsessing with opks and temping -- what was I thinking? 😂 x

Ganesh2022 · 13/01/2022 12:02

@Skl2021 thx for setting up

@Bundaberg84 sorry you have to join a thread like this, but warm welcome.

Major pity party today. I was having a think with my partner though, and of the people we know well who are parents, it is only 1 or 2 out of maybe 20 couples we know well who have not experienced this. I can't believe people walk around in such pain and we have no idea.

Ganesh2022 · 13/01/2022 12:05

...and we haven't known anyone who wanted to be a parent and didn't get there in the end after a m/c. I wish no one in the world had to hurt like this.

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 12:08

@Cruz86 welcome back! Haha I wish I could be the laid back type 🤣 I'm back to the obsessing sick of doing opks!! Not going to add temping in that will drive me mad 🙊🤣 x
@Ganesh2022 I naively thought it wasn't that that common then since having a miscarriage and coming on here the amount of people that have them is way bigger than I ever thought. People just dont talk about it though. I have noticed lately that alot more celebrities are talking about it. It's so handy to have a place like this were we can talk with people who understand or else I don't know how I would of managed 😩 xx

Ganesh2022 · 13/01/2022 12:11

@Skl2021 totally, I think it's almost more common to go through it than not to if one's trying (or not--also had plenty of friends miscarry an accidental pregnancy). Has made me appreciate celebrities talking about it, even celebrities I don't think much of lol. I think that and normalising postnatal depression is huge.

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 12:15

@Ganesh2022 yes scary how common it is! I never knew anything about miscarriage unfortunately until it happened! You never think it will until it does 😩 can be a very lonely time u feel like the only person in the world that's going through it. Yes would be great if it was more normalised x

OP posts:
Ganesh2022 · 13/01/2022 12:18

I bet if men went through it it would be....but that's a whole other thing lol

Bundaberg84 · 13/01/2022 12:51

Thank you for the warm welcome!

@Ganesh2022 you're so right. I only know one couple that had absolutely no problem conceiving. Everyone else was either struggling with getting pregnant at all, or had one or multiple mc.

My DH is much more relaxed than I am, but it's always easier to not think or stress too much about it when you don't live in the body that is not getting pregnant.

calimc83 · 13/01/2022 13:10

So so many people go through it. Agreed it's good more people are talking about it. I naively thought it would never happen to me after 2 healthy pregnancies..off I trotted for my harmony scan all alone to be told there was no heartbeat 😫.....has anyone watched Mylenne Klass's docu about miscarriage? It's worth a watch I found x

calimc83 · 13/01/2022 13:11

@Bundaberg84 welcome 🤗. I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a lovely supportive thread x

arianasky · 13/01/2022 13:29

@Cruz86 I'm exactly the same 😂🙈

arianasky · 13/01/2022 13:30

@calimc83 I didn't watch it as it was on just around the time I had my MMC and thought it would've been too difficult but I think I may give it a watch tomorrow if it's on catch up
