@calimc83 I don't even know how to get hold of one! We have to self refer then you don't see one until 9/10 weeks for booking. Gps are useless so doubt they would do anything. I knew it would be hard if I got pregnant again but this level or anxiety is crippling 😩 hope it gets easier xx

@PamelaDoov I know what you mean... I tried to delete it after I posted but can't work out how 🙄 for some reason it brings me some comfort especially as always said to me by people who've been through it too and are out the other end. But I get why it doesn't to others especially those in the thick of it. Apologies again if triggering - wasn't my intention xx

@Skl2021i think we should step away from the tests for a bit?! Although so hard when they are just there... but I find myself staring at them for ages!

@Skl2021 hmm could u ring your EPU if that's any easier? Explain anxiety's. Or I guess you could go private? Think they see you from 6ish weeks or so? Try and take your mind off it...maybe a little MN break will help. Please don't go! Xx

@Cruz86, I had the nausea and spotting which stopped in my last cycle - it really broke me as it was identical to the symptoms before my BFP. So sorry AF has arrived - I haven't got much to cheer you up, just that I'm here too and know how you feel.

Sorry I've been quiet - I'm now into cycle 5 since the MC so feeling a bit like it'll never happen! I keep telling myself I've had 1 "good" try without covid or a CP or work getting in the way, but still, it's very disheartening.

@BlueForYou3 Yes!! 😆 oh I was soooo ready, TMI - felt all 'chaffed' after all that DTD 😬🙈 x

I'm sorry you went through the same @Shortmamashortcycles. It's evil isn't it 😞 It just feels like it's never going to happen again, even though I know that's so dramatic because I conceived my son after 3 cycles and the mc pregnancy was only really after 2. Cycle 5 for you must feel like it's getting further and further away. Where are you in your cycle now? Xx

Sorry for keeping u all waiting my anxiety is sky high! I'm so scared! I just keep thinking something is going to go wrong or it's not progressing like it should. How can I stop feeling like this 😩

Relaxing will only come when you trust the pregnancy, that will come in time x

@Cruz86, CD8 today but still feeling low and teary - the last time this happened, I was having a chemical pregnancy (had a full period, then a week later started bleeding again) so I'm really hoping it's not that.

The "it's never going to happen" feeling is the worst. I now can't imagine getting a BFP or being pregnant again. Which is ridiculous as there's no reason I won't get pregnant again. Last cycle we really gave it everything and it didn't work, so I guess that's the issue - there's no excuse other than, "what if my eggs / his sperm / my uterus is rubbish." Argh, such an annoying mindset!!

@Skl2021 Why don’t you book a private scan for 7/8 weeks so you have a more manageable date to work towards? I think it’s a case of taking each day as it comes. You’re pregnant now and there’s no reason to think otherwise x

@calimc83 don't think epu will see u without referal from gp. Yes had a scan last time at 8 weeks private! Haha no I can't go without Mumsnet 🤣🤦 haha your chafing cracked me up!! Xx

@Nikkic2123 thankyou 💞 nope it was a horrible cycle. I had covid at the start. Then late ovulation thought it was never going to happen! Then I was convinced I was out before I even started so it's been a shock! I hope it does get easier! Sorry af got you 💞 take care of yourself you will get there 💕✨ xx

Is anyone else nervous to get pregnant again? I am CD 11 and part of me just doesn't want to dtd this weekend.

We have a 50/50 chance of our baby having a terminal genetic illness.... So many mixed feelings. It was stressful before.

I started reading this book yesterday, it’s got some great tips for relaxation and coping with the fear - reccommend it to anyone who is struggling, even if you haven’t got your BFP yet

Mine were positive for 4/5 weeks. I was 9 weeks x

Thanks, I know I'm just being impatient!

I was holding onto the fact that the doctor at the EPU said he would be surprised if I was still having positives even two weeks after as my HCG dropped massively between blood tests and it was quite an early loss. The comment wasn't actually as helpful as intended as I just thought this would be the case despite knowing it's so common to have a positive for many weeks after!

I think it's the whole lack of control that I have over this that has got me down today. We'll all get there though!
It has actually been so lovely to see so many others get a BFP on this thread.
