@Cruz86 tell me about it! I want it to go back faint now as I don't want to DTD anymore 🤣🤦🙈 x
@Sparklesurprise29 good luck to you too I'm sure we will all be symptom spotting soon 👀🤣 x

@JuniperAndTonic welcome back 🎉 your not far from me so we can help each other through the tww 🙌🤞 x

@Sparklesurprise29 😬 I really really want to not obsess, counting on DTD regularly this cycle. It's worked 3 times before...and I want to step away from the OPKs. I've decided I need to heal my body and mind after the MC 🙈..so eating better, exercise, doing things for me ( booked in for fertility reflexology next week - hoping it'll destress me ). Watch me get the OPK's out as soon as AF ends 😆😆 x

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 16:33

Hi @JuniperAndTonic. I think I followed the pregnancy thread you were on as I was due the month after and I wanted to see if anyone was going through what I was experiencing. So sorry to see you here. I felt exactly the same when af arrived end of December too 😞 Hopefully we won't be waiting too long x

BlueForYou3 · 13/01/2022 16:41

Please can I join? Flowers

TTC after a MMC in November. I ovulated on CD16 last month and I’m currently on CD4 so will probably start using OPK’s in a week or so.

Does anyone have any tips for surviving the TWW? I was a complete nightmare for symptom spotting and testing way too early last cycle. Hoping I can change my ways Grin

JuniperAndTonic · 13/01/2022 16:54

Hi again @Skl2021 👋🏻 Glad I have a 2WW buddy!

@Cruz86 sorry to see you here too Sad fingers crossed it’s a short journey for us!

Hi @BlueForYou3 sorry to hear about your miscarriage 💐 I hate the 2WW so no advice from me really but we’re all in this together!

I think I also feel rubbish at the moment I feel really torn - I really want to be pregnant but also getting pregnant now wouldn’t really be ideal timing - we have SO many family birthdays (including mine) in November/December and all my family have already joked they don’t want another November baby (I now they’re joking and it doesn’t really matter but still!). I would’ve have been due in June which would have been perfect timing and I just get sad when I think about that Sad

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 16:58

Hi @BlueForYou3, sorry to see you here. I'm afraid I have absolutely no advice because I normally start testing around 6dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@JuniperAndTonic your situation is honestly so similar to mine. I'm in two minds about leaving it a couple of months but I'm just yearning for a second child and know that I won't be able to wait. If we conceived this cycle, baby would be due a couple of weeks after my son's birthday and we have other family birthday's too. Ours would've been July 😞 I've come to the realisation that no time is necessarily the right time and you need to do what you want to do, regardless of other things going on or what people say xx

BlueForYou3 · 13/01/2022 17:06

@JuniperAndTonic I would have been due in June too SadFlowers We decided to start TTC straight away as I don’t want to miss the opportunity to get a BFP. I used to be obsessed with it being the ‘right time’ but now I’d just give anything to have my rainbow. They can come whenever they want x

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 17:23

Does anyone get multiple days of peak opks 🙈🤔 x

OP posts:
PamelaDoov · 13/01/2022 17:28

Can see a couple of other June due dates here like mine would have been :( I don’t even care if I have another December baby, it can come on Christmas Day if it wants, I’m just desperate to get pregnant asap.

PamelaDoov · 13/01/2022 17:30

@BlueForYou3 same here, I was really bothered about what month it would be born but now I don’t care at all. It’s meaningless.

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 17:31

You're all so right. Glad I've put my thoughts aside about birthdays etc. and just gone for it! How long has everyone been trying for (before the mc)?

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 17:32

Yes I did with the pregnancy I lost! It finally turned negative after about 3 days of peak @Skl2021 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Shortmamashortcycles · 13/01/2022 17:34

Hi 👋, I think I've lurked on a few of these threads, but my due date is getting close now (early March) and I can feel myself struggling a bit more.

TTC #2 - had a MMC in late August, discovered at the 12 week scan. I'd seen the heartbeat at 7 weeks and had had terrible morning sickness so it's totally killed any sense of chill about TTC or the first trimester.

Currently somewhere in my TWW but my cycles have been a bit weird. Had a chemical in November on my one really normal cycle, so I feel that's just extended the weirdness.

Sorry, bit of a ramble - I apologise in advance for any rants or rambles un the next few weeks!

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 17:35

@Cruz86 I have had high readings all month and now i'm on day 3 of peaks 🤦 I'm fed up with DTD I want it to go faint already!! Just took one now expecting it to be faint and it's blazing still 😬 don't know what's going on 🙈 x

OP posts:
Shortmamashortcycles · 13/01/2022 17:38

@Skl2021, I'm banned from OPKs after going a bit nuts with them ttc DD, but if it helps, I've had over a week of on and off EWCM

Absolutely maddening - my poor OH has thrown in the towel, he's fed up with me constantly extending the DTD window. Plus I just want to know when AF is due / when I might possibly test. So irritating!

calimc83 · 13/01/2022 17:39

The timing of my MC really annoyed me. The baby was due May, my eldest starts school Sept. it was perfect...I didn't have to worry about holiday care for the first year as I would of been on Mat leave..😡..I'm 40 next Jan 😱..wanted an amazing holiday away..don't really want to be pregnant then either 😫 x

Shortmamashortcycles · 13/01/2022 17:45

@calimc83, I know exactly how you feel. I would have had a 2.5 year age gap, a March birthday meant the bean would have been old enough for an August holiday, my work is a bit screwed so being on mat leave for 2022 would have been ideal, I'd've finished having kids before I turned 36...

It sometimes feels so petty but I really resent the miscarriage because the timing felt so perfect.

calimc83 · 13/01/2022 17:49

@Shortmamashortcycles Hi and welcome 🤗 god it's just so annoying isn't it?! Im already dreading my due date approaching and it's still bloody ages away 😫.Your MMC sounds v similar to mine. There was a heartbeat at 7 weeks then nothing..I always thought once u got that heartbeat that you were safe..and I'd felt rotten all those weeks as well xx

Cruz86 · 13/01/2022 18:01

Hi @Shortmamashortcycles! Nice to see you in another thread, albeit not one we want to be in 😞 I really do know how you feel about timing. My eldest is also starting primary school in September @calimc83 and it would've meant I could spend the summer holidays with him on mat leave before he starts, plus it would've given him a little time to get used to a new baby. I worry that so much will change for him in a short space of time x

BlueForYou3 · 13/01/2022 18:09

For people worrying about multiple OPK peaks I can definitely recommend Ovusense for tracking BBT. As soon as I see my temp rise I know that I’ve ovulated and feel confident that we’ve been DTD at the right time.

The month I got my BFP I had a peak on a OPK but my temp didn’t rise so we kept on DTD. We definitely would have got the timing wrong without Ovusense x

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 18:12

@calimc83 I got told at my private scan at 8 weeks that as we had a heartbeat we were safe as they say as the chance of miscarriage after that is really low 😩 false sense of security!
@Shortmamashortcycles welcome! Yes that's exactly how I feel I keep DTD and then it's extending every day I keep getting peak readings and IM so fed up with DTD over and over again it's just never ending 🤯 xx

Skl2021 · 13/01/2022 18:13

@BlueForYou3 thanks I might look into that if it's going to take months again 🤦🤞 x

Warm welcome, and so sorry, to those who've joined. Ugh, dates...this would've-been baby was due on my daughter's birthday, and I actually found out about it 8 years to the day after I found out I was having her, so it felt really special...and I found out it wasn't working on the same day8 years laterthat I first saw her heartbeat. Life!!!! I hope by this time next year, if not WELL BEFORE, we will all have new dates to celebrate or even babies arriving. Flowers
