Anyone going to TTC in April?

Hi all! Just looking for some TTC buddies! We have planned to start trying in April, we already have a DC who is 2.5. Would love for somebody else to join!

My goal is to lose a bit of weight first as I've gained about a stone back during the 3rd lockdown and want to be as healthy as possible. I've also started taking the Seven Seas Trying for a baby vitamins! Feeling nervous but excited (DC was a surprise )

Thanks @beautifulinitstime @DeeDee20 and @zeromango ❤️ at the moment I'm mostly just feeling really nervous, so worried subsequent tests are going to be negative like in February. I tested this morning with FMU (frer) and line was no darker than yesterday's. But I know it's so early, and am just going to have to see what happens. Hard not to obsess though isn't it. Symptom wise, I had slight cramping and a bit of lower backache yesterday evening, and this afternoon/evening boobs have been feeling fuller and a bit tender. According to the nhs calculator I'll be due on the 5th Feb @zeromango - how are you getting on??

When is everyone's next af due? How are you all feeling at the moment?

I don't know why most of that is in bold!

AF is due Sunday for me apparently. Starting to feel the symptoms of her arrival but we shall see.

@beautifulinitstime hope you are ok too. Isn’t it mad to think there was a time in our lives when we didn’t know what the dreaded TWW was!!

@hullaballoo19 so so excited for you! Was it down to the grapefruit juice?? keeping everything crossed this little one sticks, HCG doubles every 48-72 hours so try not to worry too much for now (easier said than done I know!)

All okay over here, I'm 7w6d - 8 week private scan on Saturday I'm bloody terrified! My symptoms seem to have disappeared (except the sore boobs) so hoping all is well.

Thanks v.much @beautifulinitstime and @DeeDee20 😊 good line progression on frers so far but still early days. I also had a positive and 1-2 weeks on a cb digital this morning (12dpo).

My fingers are crossed for you both! I hope the terrible tww passes speedily for you @beautifulinitstime, @DeeDee20 I've been having similar symptoms to my usual af symptoms so there's still hope (cramps, slight lower backache, sore boobs, hunger and smelly wind 😂)

@zeromango thanks lovely, I didn't actually have grapefruit juice, in fact this month I didn't do anything other than opks. Good luck with your scan, I hope it goes well ❤️ let us know how you get on!

Ugh, we've got my best friends bday drinks tomorrow, no idea how I'm going to get away with not drinking! She knows we're trying and that I'm due on on Sunday and I made the mistake of telling her that if I had a stark white test that day I'd be drinking 😬 any ideas?!

@DeeDee20 I was actually thinking this the other day! I wish I could go back to the time when I didn't know about tww and chemicals and miscarriages etc, when I found out I was pregnant with dd none of it ever crossed my mind and it was much less anxiety inducing, now I'm just a big bundle of worry!

@zeromango how was your scan?

@hullaballoo19 you could say you got a stark white test but you feel a bit guilty drinking because you read on here it's not over until AF arrives - then send her a message later the next day and say your really upset because AF has just arrived and you were clearly just being a bit too hopeful?!

When my friend was pregnant she drank canned alcohol because no one could see how much she was drinking (aka nothing) and then she'd pop to the bathroom and tip the alcohol away and refil with water.... my problem is me and my bestest always share a bottle of prosecco

Scan went fine! Thank you for asking. Was so so anxious. Strong heartbeat, it still doesn't feel real at all except the giant boobs!

I told her that I was taking antibiotics that weren't alcohol friendly, she definitely didn't believe me 😂 she kept grilling me like 'what are you taking them for', 'when did you start taking them', what's the active ingredient in them' all with a grin on her face and twinkle in her eye!

As for me here, I m currently 12 dpo and tested negative can feel that it isnt my month. Nothing extraordinary😂 Gotta be patient and keep patient with this ttc thing. Waiting for af to arrive in few days.

Hey @beautifulinitstime how are you? Honestly I really didn't feel it this month and was so shocked when the test was positive so I no longer have confidence in talking about not feeling it 😂 honestly, I still don't 'feel' pregnant (keep thinking is this something to worry about?!) Only symptoms now are sore boobs and I'm sleeping terribly (waking every hour and waking early in the morning 😩). Using first day of last period, I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow.

@hullaballoo19 I read that some people get less/almost zero symptoms during their pregnancy, hence you should not be too worried about it hun 😘 You'll be doing fine 🤞🏻 When is ur 1st appmt with the ob? Well, I actually will be very surprised if I get positive because I m not feeling like it I know 😂 started to hv some small pms cramp today.

Thanks @beautifulinitstime :) yeah I didn't have many symptoms with dd either, but I just feel more anxious this time - maybe because I'm older/overweight etc? Haven't made my first appointment yet, probably going to do that this week. How are you getting on? Any sign of af?

@hullaballoo19 sadly, period is on its way. Started spotting this evening with pms cramps. Just waiting for the heavy flow to let me moving on that it is another unsuccessful cyle yeah, you should book ur appmt with the ob to see how things are progressing. Wish u well hun, and take care

@beautifulinitstime hey, how are you getting on? My last cycle was the shortest ever, was 26 days when usually 27-34. I just don’t know what’s going on. Currently cd8 and will start with the opk sticks tomorrow. Going to the fertility appointment in 2 weeks. It all just feels strange, hate to think something is “wrong” but also glad we are going to get help.

@DeeDee20 i m doing good hun. What about u there? My period is making its way, started spotting this evening @ dpo 14 / cd 31. My cycle is getting longer too. Used to have 28-29 and now it becomes 28-31/32 somehow. Guess our cycle wont really stick to one? Dont be hun, it's good that we make use of the resources around us to aid our ttc chances. Hope it will go well for both of youu I m calmly waiting for the heavy flow to make me come to realisation that this is another unsuccessful cycle 😂
