Anyone going to TTC in April?

Hi all! Just looking for some TTC buddies! We have planned to start trying in April, we already have a DC who is 2.5. Would love for somebody else to join!

My goal is to lose a bit of weight first as I've gained about a stone back during the 3rd lockdown and want to be as healthy as possible. I've also started taking the Seven Seas Trying for a baby vitamins! Feeling nervous but excited (DC was a surprise )

@Elsbeth1 the dreaded waiting game!! It's the worst. Hope for good news for you!!
I got a BFN today again at 10dpo. Going to test in couple days, see if I'm out for the cycle.
Strangely, not feeling anything today... 🤔

So sorry @VixFromThe6ix, though as they say, you're not out til af arrives. Did you test positive at this time with your previous miscarriages? My advice would be to try and keep yourself busy over the next few days. It really is so hard though, from about 8dpo til my period I'm so emotional with the waiting and wondering, symptom spotting and testing.

@beautifulinitstime sorry I don't have much to add, just that I understand how you feel and it's tough ❤️ here for you when you want to vent/chat. Let us know what your opk shows today, how frustrating that you and your partner are not together atm!

Nothing new from me, womb area felt a bit 'odd' all day yesterday but feels fine today. I don't really expect to have any relevant signs for a few more days anyway, but I really hope it's my month. I feel quite positive atm but we shall see

@Elsbeth1 it is by far the worst bit! I think that's why I don't feel too stressed during the first week, because i know a test would be negative. From about 8dpo it's possible to get a positive, so that's when I struggle

@VixFromThe6ix oh booo but there's still hope until AF comes along!
I feel like when I get a BFN I get less stressed and forget about my symptoms but I'm feeling phantom jabbing right now because I know I'll be testing in 2 days lol

Fingers crossed for you @hullaballoo19! I'm planning on testing on 9dpo and then on period day since I only brought 3 tests and have already used one prematurely haha

@hullaballoo19 last time I got pregnant I got a super faint line 10 days since my peak, so I guess that's at 9dpo. Yesterday was 10dpo (maybe 9dpo if I ovulated closer to 48hrs after peak) and it was negative. Today is then my 10/11dpo and I could have swornnnn I saw a super faint line, but I am questioning it now because it is not coming out in pictures and I am wondering if I got line eyes and seeing what's not there. I asked my bf and he says he sees it but I'm not sure he knows what he is supposed to see so maybe he said it cause I said I see one 😂😂😂 Ugh, either way,I dunno... I will test tomorrow and see if I am actually losing it.

@elsbeth1 ohh my fingers and toes are crossed for you!! I kind of agree that before I got my first negative this month I lost all symptoms that I swear I had the day before 😂 but as I mentioned above, I thought I saw something on a cheapie today... I am praying I see something tomorrow. This whole process makes me feel like I'm losing my mind lol

Ah @VixFromThe6ix my fingers are crossed for you 😊 I'd say post a photo but I'm always terrible at seeing faint lines on mn!

I'm now 5/6dpo and little to report. Had on and off twinges yesterday but likely just me being hyper aware in that area

Hey, I finally got the static face on cd20. Dtd thga day and the next day (yesterday). Wondering if we should do it again today for luck but I am wiped. Ha!
How are you? Hope you are all ok in the tww. I’m planning on not testing until af is really late. Al the times I’ve tested before just makes me sad when it’s BFN.
How do you all deal with the pregnancy annoucments? Just heard another one today and it hurts a little xx

Been and bloated and burpy the last few days which isn't normal for me but I have also been stress eating loads of junk food haha
I did a reflexology session earlier this week too to try and destress but it was only good for a few hours lol

I'm just looking forward what I can change next cycle now

@DeeDee20 smart to wait til you're late 😊 I'm always torn because I'm disappointed when I see a bfn, but if I don't test I feel like a crazy person who literally cannot think of anything but 'AM I PREGNANT?!' for over a week 😂 With pregnancy announcements I tend to feel disappointed and frustrated, but I haven't been trying for as long as you so I imagine it's harder for you :( I haven't had loads of pregnancy announcements recently, but lots of babies born and that makes me feel very desperate for it to be my turn. I really hope it happens for you this month ❤️

After comment below (I think it was you @zeromango) I read a bit about why pineapple is supposed to be good for implantation. So I bought a couple today and plan to eat them over the next week 👍 no sign of any symptoms yet, I'm mostly waiting to see if I get the breast pain I had with my cp...

Hi guys how are we all? Sorry it's been manic this week, haven't stopped and keep forgetting to check the thread! DC is in nursery now so fingers crossed by the time we do fall pregnant, DC will be nicely settled.

Had two pregnancy announcements this week already, which is lovely but making me feel extra impatient! My heart goes out to those on this thread who have been trying a while.

@hullaballoo19 haha get cracking with those pineapples girl, do you have any symptoms today? When you say your womb feels odd, in what way? Mine feels heavy yet empty - its so weird. Although I know its 99.9% me overthinking it. Im going to test next Friday at the very earliest. Metallic taste in mouth yesterday, cramping STILL which is so bloody weird. Just trying to make it through to next week!

@Elsbeth1 bloated is always a positive sign! Don't ever regret the junk food either

@DeeDee20 So pleased you finally got a static, some women can ovulate pretty late and sounds like you've timed DTD perfectly so keeping my fingers crossed for you! Pregnancy announcements are always a weird struggle because I had 2 MCs before DC and I still get a pang, silly really Sorry you're struggling lovely, but lots of positive things have happened and I hope this is your month! I hope its everyone's month

@zeromango I'll test Friday if I can last that long! Will probably feel the urge to test from weds onwards.. No symptoms today for me, was getting some sharp pains that also felt a bit crampy (if that makes sense) yesterday and the day before, but nothing noticeable today. The metallic taste sounds like a good sign!

Morning all :)

So I've just realised that the last few mornings I've been quite hungry. No idea if it means anything at all, but I don't usually get hungry until about 10.30/11am so it's new. I also dreamt I had a baby last night! Which hasn't happened the whole time we've been trying, and I remember happening when pregnant with dd. Of course, I have no idea if anything means anything 😂 but 🤞 6/7dpo today, I'll be eating my pineapple when I get to work @zeromango! Hope everybody has a nice day x

Morning @hullaballoo19 they all sound really positive! I didn't really have any symptoms yesterday just mild cramping and leg pain again. Still have that heavy feeling around my uterus. Even if it comes to nothing it'll be handy looking back next month! Hope you enjoy your pineapple! Just a shame I can't use it in pina coladas I'm not a drinker anyway but this weather is making me feel like I should be on a beach with a few cocktails! I'm approx 7/8DPO but I could be totally out! I hate not knowing for sure

How are we all getting on? I'm due AF this time next week, still having cramps and they started
to get really intense yesterday I felt like I was due to come on any minute! It's so weird, never had this before but I have a horrible feeling it's just my body playing tricks on me! Going to have a nice weekend and try not to think about it!

Got really really bad cramps today - AF not due until Saturday 😭 anyone else? Pretty much had cramping since ovulation - this has never happened, ever. Really trying not to overthink it though. It might just be all from DTD so much Usually my boobs start hurting a week before my period and that's it really. Has anyone here tried the easy@home OPKs from Amazon? Also ordered some sensitive pregnancy tests (10mlu) from Amazon which had good reviews so if they're any good I'll let you all know! Going to try really hard to only test on Friday onwards.

@VixFromThe6ix did you take another test? I hope you're ok!

@zeromango I wonder what all the cramping's about?! I'd say implantation, but I don't think the cramping would have started straight after ovulation 🤔 still, fingers crossed 😊

I use the easy@home ovulation sticks, find them good and easy to use (and cheap!) - make sure to input them into the app, because it's simpler when the app works it all out for you. Also the first month it usually can't tell you whether you're reading is high, because it doesn't have any data about what's normal for you, so first month you have to just dtd as much as possible at the usual time, and the month after it can give you a heads up that your readings are high and ovulation is near

Morning everyone! Fresh week this week, how are we feeling, anything to report?

Approx 11DPO. Still having awful cramps and now pains down both legs, sore boobs have started too. I did a bit of Googling (bad I know, soz) and some people have had cramping since OV that went on to be a BFP.

I really need to stop getting my hopes up! I only got a proper positive test the day after my AF when pregnant with DD, but the temptation to test is awful even though I know it'll be BFN. My tests are in my drawer just beckoning me

@hullaballoo19 thank you for the tips! They're in my basket waiting if AF shows this weekend! Do you keep them or just Chuck them once you've inputted it into the app?

@zeromango it's so hard not to google and symptom spot on TWW! You're doing so well try and hold out just for another couple of days if you can!

Ah @zeromango you're not alone! I was Googling last night 🤦‍♀️ nothing really to report, got a bit of tenderness in my right breast but doesn't feel like much of a sign. I'm 9/10dpo. and it's that horrible second week where I feel crappy 😩 I'm not busy enough! Really feeling like it's not my month, but trying to find the positives - it's dp's birthday next Monday and we have plans to go out with friends on Saturday, so at least if it's not then I can have a drink at the pub.

Yeah I just bin the sticks once I've put them in the app x

@hullaballoo19 That's lovely you have something to look forward too on Monday, especially if you did get a BFN (which I'm so hoping isn't the case!) I also feel like it's not my month, even though I'm having so many weird symptoms. My boobs are starting to kill now but that's also consistent with AF. I can keep mulling things over but until I miss AF or test end of the week, I simply don't know. DP had basically said only to test Saturday and Sunday, he says if we just take it day by day and try not to get our hopes up then it won't feel so rubbish.

My heart goes out to everyone who has been trying a while, I'm assuming it doesn't get any easier.

I’m 14 DPO now and was expecting AF today but nothing yet. I usually come on within a few hours of waking up. Also done a test - BFN, just want AF to show now so I can get onto my next cycle
