Anyone going to TTC in April?

Hi all! Just looking for some TTC buddies! We have planned to start trying in April, we already have a DC who is 2.5. Would love for somebody else to join!

My goal is to lose a bit of weight first as I've gained about a stone back during the 3rd lockdown and want to be as healthy as possible. I've also started taking the Seven Seas Trying for a baby vitamins! Feeling nervous but excited (DC was a surprise )

@DeeDee20 I think that may be me tomorrow. Starting to feel like AF is on her way. My cycle this month has been all over the place! Will be sad but also looking forward to a mew fresh cycle!

@beautifulinitstime and @DeeDee20 sorry to hear girls, the same for me - tested yest 11 dpo and a bit fat negative. I know it's only been 3 months of trying but ovulation checked and dtd allll around before and after ovulation.

So hard to keep starting again and every month it just gets harder 😢 I was so happy when we agreed to start ttc, I didn't think it'd be such a sad experience :(

@DeeDee20 sorry to hear your period came but heyy good news is that ovulation is coming so here's for another cycle, another opportunity 🍷 I didnt test today, 15 dpo coz I know its BFN though. Period cramps going on and off and I know it will be here sharply tomorrow! I cant wait to have my wine and doses of caffeine by this weekend 😂

@Veronika13 thanks hun. I wish u well too, and hopefully ur bfp will come in a day or two? 🤞🏻 The waiting is hard especially to those who are really wanting it to happen. 😕

@DeeDee20 how are u doing hun? Just an update, as expected period came just on time yesterday. So here's for another cycle, another opportunity 🍷 I guess I m gonna take it easy in this cycle, this ttc expectation slowly consuming my mental health it feels 😕

Hey ladies, yes I know exactly how you feel. It just gets to you so much, think you’re doing every thing right or slightly different in the month and then nope AF or BFN.
Even my partner said he doesn’t understand what’s going wrong
I’m just coming to the end of AF, I’m not sure what more else I can do this cycle. I hope you’re both ok and yes wine is good. X

Hi all, so sorry I've been absent. Had dps birthday which was nice, but then it was the anniversary of my brothers death and with that, work stress and another month not pregnant I've just been feeling pretty crappy recently. The sun is shining today so I'm feeling a bit more positive. I hope everyone enjoys the sun and warmth today :)

Sorry to hear that afs arrived for (most?) of you, it's a crappy feeling. How are you all feeling about the next cycle? Anybody planning to do anything different this month?

@DeeDee20 how r you hun? I got myself confused in a weird cycle while on period.

My cycle gone a lil bit weird. I m supposedly on period day 4 yesterday but I felt a little bit off, so out of curiosity I took a test. I thought I saw a line, which needed me to squint harder to see it. Could be just an evap/indent.

So I went out and bought a CB test today. I tested once I reached home. Immediately after dipping it in urine, I saw the + sign while the dye is still running and settling. In my disbelief, I snapped a pic of it.

Just terribly confused now. Is this signifying something good or bad? 

Hey, hope you are all ok, can anyone help? I haven’t had a proper period yet after coming off the pill on 21st April. Just a withdrawal bleed a few days afterwards which lasted for about 4-5 days. The last few days I’ve had awful pains in my lower abdomen and pains in what feels like my right ovary. I wondered if I was either ovulating or pregnant but both tests were negative. Could this just be a symptom of coming off of the pill and the build up to my next period? Anyone else have this after being on the pill for a while? It’s sooo sore

@beautifulinitstime hey. Oh wow, are you going to test again? Is AF still there? I hope you are ok?

@hullaballoo19 I don’t think I’m going to do anything different. I’ll be cd10 on Thursday and will do the CB opk once a day followed by internet ones in the eve when I get a flashy smily. Aim for dtd every other day to cover ourselves and pray to all the gods. It really did help not testing until AF came I think. I’m trying to drink more water and think I’ll try and add in is it pineapple juice or pomegranate juice?! Try and be as relaxed as possible and continue living my life.

@hullaballoo19 Hi lovely, how are you? fingers crossed all ok for now, 6 weeks tomorrow and have a private scan booked for end of the month for reassurance! So so scared due to previous MCs I can't enjoy it much which is frustrating! Good luck for this month guys I really hope you manage to get your BFPs.

If it's helpful to anyone, I used conceive plus lube and seven seas trying for a baby vitamins and drank a glass of grapefruit juice during my fertile week. DTD mostly every other day, sometimes a bit longer. Just tracked cervical mucus, no OPKs. No idea if any of this helped - but wanted to share anyway! X

@DeeDee20 Hey, how r ya? I tested the day after next, came back negative. The cb was just false alarm I guess so😅 My ovulation is coming in few days. Gotta try again and be so patient in my tww. I have wasted a lot of tests like always in all cycle 😂

Thanks for the tips @zeromango I heard grapejuice is good to boost the fertility as well. Gotta look for one if they have it in store. Wish u well there hun 😘

@beautifulinitstime hey. I literally have no idea what’s going on with my cycle this month. Started CB opk on cd as usual, got a circle, next day 1 gals hung smily and the next a static. Literally no time to prepare abs we couldn’t dtd that day either so it was first thing this morning. I do no understand. I started using cheap opk too and got a peak. All ok cd 12 when for me it’s usually cd16-cd20. So I’m in the TWW with one dtd. Bloody hell. Wish me luck!!! I hope your managing to get lots of baby dancing in. How are you?

@hullaballoo19 hey did u get your opk peak on Saturday like me? I’m so confused. I think I’m still going to try abs dtd every other day just incase these bloody things are wrong and I do ovulate on cd20

@DeeDee20 yeah I had my peak Saturday morning. Didn't have ovulation pain this month (only seem to get it when I ovulate from my right ovary) but in previous months I usually get the pain about 8 hours after my peak opk

@beautifulinitstime hey. No I won’t test, after doing this for over a year now I feel it hurts less if I just wait for AF to show. Felt we got caught out MASSIVLY this month and only able to dtd once and that was on the second day of the static smily face on CB OPK stick. Backed this up with confirmation on cheap one. Urgh. Next month it’s the fertility appointment.

Hey lovely ladies! Hope you are all ok?!
I got my AF a week ago today. I was so excited to get it as it’s my first after coming off the pill and thought I could finally start tracking.
I’ve now been on for 7 days but it’s very dark brown bleeding and very light, almost like coffee granules. It hasn’t got heavier in the week at all. Is this ok? Will I still ovulate with a light period? Anyone had any experience of this? X

Afternoon everyone, how are you all?

So I'm 9dpo today and was planning on holding off til Friday to test but having some medical issues so my dr told me to test and I seem to have my bfp!! So unexpected as I haven't been 'feeling it' and no symptoms. After having experienced a chemical I've got my guard up a bit, but cautiously optimistic! I'll be testing to check line progression.

@DeeDee20 Exactly it is. I myself will try my best to hold up as long as I can because in the end always get frustrated keep seeing BFN. 😞 But hey, dont worry about having dtd less @ once as u mentioned it. If the time is just right, it surely end up as bfp. Who knows? 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Wishing us the best in this cycle hun. Keep us updated though. ☺️

@Emloba87 Hi there. How are u doin? I m not very sure about your concern here, but the only thing that I can be sure is to use OPK kit / Lh strip to confirm u r ovulating! Best of luck 🤞🏻

@beautifulinitstime hey. Yea I feel like after reading people’s stories you just don’t know when or how it’s going to happen. We did it once and sometimes that enough. Just keep praying. Wish you all the luck too x
