Anyone going to TTC in April?

Hi all! Just looking for some TTC buddies! We have planned to start trying in April, we already have a DC who is 2.5. Would love for somebody else to join!

My goal is to lose a bit of weight first as I've gained about a stone back during the 3rd lockdown and want to be as healthy as possible. I've also started taking the Seven Seas Trying for a baby vitamins! Feeling nervous but excited (DC was a surprise )

Thank you @hullaballoo19 honestly was not expecting it to happen so soon. I won't leave the thread just yet because I had a MC at 6 and 10 weeks last time so I'm definitely not counting my chickens right now, but I hope everyone on here manages to get their BFP really soon also it's been so helpful chatting through it all!

We ttc in April, first month of trying after a few months off (got a puppy so focus was elsewhere 😂) - 15 dpo and got my first positive today (on 3 tests!) 1-2 weeks on clear blue. Not sunk in yet. But was a crazy symptom spotter so if I can be of help to anyone fire away..... xx

Af arrived, so hello new cycle. How's everyone else getting on?

@hullaballoo19 how you feeling? Hope you’re ok. I’m cracking, apparently 10dpo and will not test, it just hurts too much. I think waiting for af to arrive almost makes me feel relieved can start a new cycle.
But honestly I’m fed up now. Over a year of trying and just feel so deflated. Thanks for letting me moan. Good to get it out here.

I'm okay thank you @DeeDee20, disappointed of course but trying to keep positive. Dps bday weekend so we've got some stuff planned which we keep me busy for now. Af does feel like it's kicking me while I'm down though - horrid cramps and grumpiness!

So sorry you're feeling fed up ❤️ Totally understandable after trying for so long 🙁 when in June is your fertility appointment? What kind of stuff do they investigate first? I saw in boots a couple of weeks ago that they had a sperm testing kit for about £20/30, was thinking about giving that a try if next cycle is still a no go. May be that nothing is wrong, but I think I'd just feel 'better' knowing and being able to prepare myself mentally if it was likely to take a while for us. I understand why they want you to be trying for a year before investigating, but it's also such a long time to be trying and experiencing all the emotion and frustration. It must be really difficult for you xx

Appointment is mid June - around ovulation too. No idea what to except and they said initial one might still be over the phone?! I saw those boots tests but haven’t heard great reviews though.
I think I’m just having a sorry for myself day you know, very emotional - sign af is on her way too. Or is that a sigh of a BFP? Haha clutching at straws. I’ll allow my self a down day.

Planning what should I do/ improve in my next cycle? Has anyone been taking baby aspirin after a miscarriage, and having a positive outcome of it? 😅

@DeeDee20 sorry you're out too and feeling rubbish. It's normal to feel emotional and deflated, hoping that you feel better soon.

My update: I feel like I've been 6-8DPO forever thanks to my app moving my ovulation day around so much! Who knows what the real day is but I'm going with the app which now days 7DPO. I'm not feeling like this was my month as I don't think we have DTD on enough fertile days as I thought I'd ovulated 2-3 days earlier than what the app is saying. But we will see. Based on that I need to just not test I think and wait for AF. Feeling more positive for next month that we might get our DTD better

Morning ladies, I’m 12dpo today according to my opk, late for my period according to an app, bit like you @charja100. I’m also not going to test until af comes, I think that hurts more.
@beautifulinitstime how are you? Your not out until af shows. Are you due Wednesday like me? I don’t think I’m going to test until Friday. And it’s only monday!!!!

@DeeDee20 I m 12 dpo today too and period supposedly due on Friday. I got my cycle longer after I miscarried last January. Yes, youre right. We still have hope as long as period doesnt show up 🤞🏻 Wishing u the best too hun 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@beautifulinitstime I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I really hope this is our month, all of our months. I don’t know what happen to my cycles, was 28 days, stated taking folic acid and they went to 34 days, I stopped that And they went back to 28 but this month...I’ve no idea. I’m on day 33. I hope af doesn’t come let me know how you get on too hun. Xx

@DeeDee20 unsure if folic acid consumption could alter your cycle days? 😅 Waiting for AF to show really is the toughest one in every cycle. I ll sure to update you how I do in these few days. Hold on there too hun. May the good things are with us 🤞🏻

My partner and I have been DTD more recently due to TTC but I had some light bleeding this morning. Very light pink spots....I don’t think it’s implantation bleeding as hasn’t been very long since I came off the pill and had a withdrawal bleed. Any ideas? X

@Emloba87 how many DPO are you? It can be ib, and could be anything too.. fingers crossed for something positive 🤞🏻

@DeeDee20 How are you today hun? I m feeling like getting my period anytime soon 😓 these cramps and uneasy feeling in my stomach, pms symptoms it feels. Not hoping too much for this cycle, as I tested today 13 dpo and it was negative too. Not even any slight faint line 🥺

@beautifulinitstime hey hun, sorry to hear about ur BFN, r u ok? I’m the same, woke up with really bad af cramps. My periods always start off really heavy and then go lighter. This morning it was so light on the tissue and now nothing? I just don’t understand what’s going on. I wish she would just come as she usually does, I can have a cry and move on. I don’t get why my cycle has gone back to 34 days from 28. Argh! Xx

@DeeDee20 doing fine here and I wont anymore unless period doesnt show up. 😅 Pms cramps are still present, and I know it will come in a day or two 🥴 How are u doin today hun?

@beautifulinitstime hey, well AF slowly and then progressively showed up and in full swing today. Had a little cry and just thinking what I can possibly do different next month. We have 2 more cycles before fertility appointment so fingers crossed. How are you? X
