Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

28 day cycle and just started trying this evening

@Genevive123 No, literally just decided to go for it today! Came off Cerazette December and cycles seem settled so after talking to DP we felt the time was right. We'll research using OPK, charting etc as we go along, if I don't catch early. All the best to you too - hope AF stays away this month and you get a nice clear BFP X

Ah thank you! I hope so, if not I'm hoping by our next cycle which begins end of march as I'm hoping to be able to surprise DP's mum for her birthday 😍

I’m in the same boat except AF due around the 5th (but unsure because first cycle after implant). I had some symptoms last week but nothing the last couple of days. I used OPKs from around CD11/12 and had some strong 2 lines but literally been negative ever since so unsure if I ovulated early or not at all. Going to hold out until the weekend - trying to be chill but it is hard haha! Xx

Hi everyone! I'm new here too.

I stopped Cerazette mid-January so I'm just coming to the end of my first proper cycle. AF due around 4th March. I'm not expecting a bfp this month as we were just too knackered for most of that week! But you never know...

I've got some CB ovulation sticks to try next cycle. Sounds like a bit of a faff but I thought I'd try them while I'm getting used to my cycle again.

I think it's easy to get your hopes up and expect to be pg straight away once you've decided to start ttc, so well done on your positive spirit @Genevive123! I think I was symptom-spotting within days of stopping the pill 😀

@Kty09 hey lovely!! Don't be too worried if you don't have symptoms! I accidentally became pregnant a few years ago, sadly it ended in mid carriage but I had absolutely no idea I was pregnant I had no symptoms at all, not everyone does so just because you don't have symptoms doesn't mean you're not pregnant ☺️ when are you taking a test? After AF is due ?

@taytay2020 Hello!! Ooh exciting we have cycles very close together - I wasn't expecting my BFP this month either but hoping in the next few cycles I will! I've been using Fermometer (I think? Lol) for ovulation tests which have been good I got my peak when expected but don't think we were BD enough to be honest! Ah thank you - if it doesn't happen in the next few months I probably won't be so positive haha xx

@Genevive123 hey! Oh really, sorry to hear that. I guess you expect all the ‘typical’ symptoms! I think if it doesn’t come by Friday I will take one on Saturday - going to take some will power but waiting seems better than being disappointed. The months seem to last so so long now and it’s only the first cycle haha! Hope it happens in the first few months for us all @taytay2020🤞🏼 Xx

@Kty09 I think when it comes to it next month I will try and wait as I hated getting negative tests this month and still wondering if I could be ! Lol

Ah really, a fresh month and hopefully the cycle you will get caught 🤞🏼😃 Are you doing anything tracking like OPKs or BBT?

I think I will use the OPKs straight after AF next cycle to see when I ovulate because I definitely didn’t when the app said I did this month.

I don’t think it has to be honest haha, I thought my skin looked better but I’m unsure really. What about you? xx

@Kty09 yeah a fresh month exactly! to be honest I wasn't expecting it this month , we got a puppy a few months ago and if we lock him out the room he cries and if we let him in he gets on the bed lmao so we struggled to bd this month! We've got a crate for next month 😂😂

Yes I'm using OPKs ! Using Femometer and the app which is good as it tells me what percentage I am In my peak! Have you ever seen it before ?

Yeah no difference for me! My friend said it made her sick but luckily I feel fine xx

I'm so excited for this month as I have two cycles that start this month!! So hoping I will conceive on one of those cycles xx

I started taking folic acid in November but now that I've stopped taking the pill (with its helpful days of the week labelling) I'm really struggling to keep track of whether I'm remembering it every day! I normally have it with breakfast but every so often I get paranoid that maybe I forgot

@taytay2020 I think the seven seas trying for a baby tablets have the days of the week on the blister pack xx

@taytay2020 ah bless you! I take mine in the afternoon I have an alarm set on my phone to go off every day at 1pm with a message saying folic acid haha helps me to remember!

@taytay2020 not too bad thank you! Started AF yesterday so feeling excited again haha 😂 so ready to say goodbye to AF for 9 months and grow a little one 😍

What cycle day are you on now?

@genevive123 I'm on CD27. Too early to know how regular I'll be going forward, but from quite obvious CM I reckon I ovulated on CD14, so I'm expecting AF tomorrow (and I'll be SO pleased with myself if I'm right!).

Hi @taytay2020 - thanks for asking. I'm only on CD 6, so nothing to report yet. Just enjoying the whole thing though. This is the first month I've ever tried and making love for a baby just feels so special All the best to you as well. XXX

@annwen It really does! Although I've been enjoying winding up my DH by changing terminology this year from 'pointless sex' to 'scary sex' 😀

@taytay2020 @Genevive123 were all very similar cycles! I think AF just started for me but I am quite glad because I can now see how long my cycles are (26 days this month)! I will begin to track for O earlier this month I think. X
