3 miscarriages in a row. Waiting on miscarriage clinic appointment

(Also posted this in miscarriage talk, but had no replies)

So a quick summary. In 2015 I was pregnant with Identical twin girls, I lost them at 24 weeks with TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) I gave birth to them both.

Fast forward to 2020, I fall pregnant in March and I miscarry at 9 weeks after a private scan showed no baby on the screen. An empty sac. We tried again in the June and it took us until October to fall pregnant again. I found out on October 24th and on the 31st I started bleeding and was told it was a chemical pregnancy because the hospital test came back negative, but I had positives the week before on blue dye tests and digital ones. I was 5 weeks pregnant. I then fell pregnant again straight after I presume, no period whole of the November, faint positives on tests, started bleeding heavily on December 13th and was told it was a miscarriage again.

And to now, I’ve had a pelvis ultrasound, came back with the lining of my womb fine, the womb fine, my ovaries just showed a small amount of cysts so was given blood tests to check for polycystic ovaries, got those results back and all came back clear and no further action needed. Had tests for Thrombophilia, also came back clear. And I’ve had a period since the December loss.

Due to Covid I’m having to wait a bit longer for my miscarriage clinic referral appointment to come through. My doctor has given me the all clear to keep trying in the meantime. But I’m so fed up and drained with it. I just need advice if anyone has been referred to the miscarriage clinic and what was the outcome, if any. Because I’m very doubtful I’ll get answers.

@Fawn68 my only child ive got is 11 so i cant remember a thing. I was 19 aswell at the time so was naive about it all. Hahahahah mine normally are but they just feel heavy and sore now. X

@Fawn68 I wouldn’t worry to much about that. I read that it’s quite normal. As long as not blood follows I would try and relax x

Awk I am just worrying so much I just can't shake this worry off. Today I've had zero symptoms I don't even feel pregnant at all. And this is what happened last time 😔

@Fawn68 it’s totally normal for you to feel like this. But try not to worry yourself because your lines are showing up so strong. Maybe ring your EPU and see what they can do for you to get you in a bit earlier. I think waiting till the 1st is to far x

I know @MollySxx I think it's because yesterday I really was feeling quite rough, then today.. nothing. I might see if I can get one for the end of next week instead, but then I suppose it's only another couple of days. If I got one now nothing much would show as I'm actually just 5 weeks today! How are you feeling? X

@Fawn68 I actually wouldn’t worry yourself to much. I have days like that, like for today for example my boobs aren’t as sore. But I woke up and felt almost hungover feeling and tired. Now I feel fine. It’s definitely mind games and I’m learning to not let my mind play tricks. I’m 5 weeks 3 days. So we are so close together x

@MollySxx thank you Mrs! Really glad I can come here for reassurance as my husband is so good and supportive but I don't think he fully understands the worry that comes after Miscarriages. Glad you are feeling ok, we really are. Be great going through this journey together. Are you feeling a lot more settled since having your hcg checked?

@Fawn68 completely normal to feel the way you do. I did a test again this morning because I panicked my HCG was down again. But 2 strong lines yet again. So that settles me a little bit. And it did settle me until today when I’ve panicked a bit this morning. I just wish I could have them done all the time to know it’s rising x

My lines this morning, so I know as long as they stay like this then I’m okay

@Fawn68 im also having days where i feel worse than others. ive been waking up feeling hungover and groggy for an hour then start to feel ok. i could sleep 24 hours and still get up and feel like ive done an all nighter haha.

Anyone else really bloated after only eating little?

@MollySxx what date is your scan again? mine will probs be around the same time i recon xx

@Emmav2020 I relate on the bloated after only eating a little. Or being really hungry and only being able to eat a small bit before feeling full.

My scan I’ve paid for privately is February 27th and I’ll be 2 days shy of 7 weeks. And my NHS scan is April 6th, when I’ll be 12 weeks +1. Which April seems a world away, so we might pay for another private at 10 weeks x

Yes I am really only bloated after eating or else quite early in the morning before I get up!

I'm feeling fine the only thing is the tiredness, I am tired all day long and I am going to bed before 9 every night. Also my nipples are extremely sensitive and I had some tingling in my boobs yesterday and mild cramps last night again! Other than that nothing. I wouldn't even know I'm pregnant if I didn't have positive tests! All my nausea seems to have completely left

@MollySxx that's good you don't have too long left to wait now! Mines is the 3rd March and I'll be exactly 7 weeks going by my dates x

@Fawn68 the wait for scan definitely feel like years instead of weeks. I remember when weeks would fly, now I just feel like they’re going slow as they can possibly go. I just want a scan to know everything is in order and how it should be. Also dreading it the more it gets closer

@MollySxx ive been bloated all day and barely eaten. When were out of lockdown ill never fit in any jeans or anything.

I was going to book an early scan because i have done with my ither pregnancys but im not this time xx

Hows everyome feeling? I feel horrendous today, cant eat anything without wanting to be sick, bad heahache. Xx

@Emmav2020 I'm still not too bad, still very tired and no energy, cramps, had a bad headache last night, peeing a bit more and sensitive nipples. Had one wave of nausea today! Oh gosh I'm hoping I get sick but I know I'll regret saying this. How many weeks are you again?

@Fawn68 i must only be about 4/5 weeks. Ill be heading to bed soon im shattered. I was the same, hoping to get all the symptoms but now i feel awful. Today def been the worst day and its only going to get worse x

@Emmav2020 aw that's the way I was all last week I was so nauseous, then this week it eased and nothing so I'm hoping it comes back! Hopefully it doesn't get too bad for you. I've been in bed every night before 9:30 I'm shattered

@Emmav2020 @Fawn68 I’m not feeling the best. My doctor arranged an early scan (not for any reason, other than reassurance) and I had it yesterday. They saw a gestation sac, but nothing within the sac. So I’ve gone into panic mode. I have another scan in a weeks time, so I’ve cancelled my private one. But I’m really not feeling hopeful. Feel like my boobs aren’t as sore, but I’ve getting waves of feeling sick. Haven’t been sick. Just wish I had signs to know everything was okay x

I think personally they’ve jumped the gun and scanned me way to early since I’m not 6 weeks till Monday. So really hoping that’s the reason

@MollySxx was it an internal scan?

It is very very early to see anything so please don't worry just yet 🤞🏻

@TJ17 yes, was an internal. She said she could see a sac, but couldn’t confirm if it was gestational as if had nothing within the scan. I then saw the consultant who went over the scan and she said it could be filled with fluid so hard to see anything, along with it being to early. I was 5 weeks + 4 days yesterday. So really hoping it was just to early

@MollySxx oh sorry they really have scanned you very early! This happened me last time just an empty sac but when I went back 1 week later there was a baby with a heartbeat. Please stay positive I know it's hard!

@Fawn68 I was awake at 4am just sick with worry. Had a cry and I just feel sick to my stomach thinking it’s going to happen again. And truthfully, I don’t think I can take it again and be able to pick myself up and try again. It’s mentally draining x

I think scans this early just cause more anxiety than good to be honest! Hang on in there. Another couple of weeks and hopefully you will see a little heartbeat 😊❤️

Try not to worry, in my opinion forget the scan for now as it's useless at this stage!
