Hi,
(Also posted this in miscarriage talk, but had no replies)

So a quick summary. In 2015 I was pregnant with Identical twin girls, I lost them at 24 weeks with TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) I gave birth to them both.

Fast forward to 2020, I fall pregnant in March and I miscarry at 9 weeks after a private scan showed no baby on the screen. An empty sac. We tried again in the June and it took us until October to fall pregnant again. I found out on October 24th and on the 31st I started bleeding and was told it was a chemical pregnancy because the hospital test came back negative, but I had positives the week before on blue dye tests and digital ones. I was 5 weeks pregnant. I then fell pregnant again straight after I presume, no period whole of the November, faint positives on tests, started bleeding heavily on December 13th and was told it was a miscarriage again.

And to now, I’ve had a pelvis ultrasound, came back with the lining of my womb fine, the womb fine, my ovaries just showed a small amount of cysts so was given blood tests to check for polycystic ovaries, got those results back and all came back clear and no further action needed. Had tests for Thrombophilia, also came back clear. And I’ve had a period since the December loss.

Due to Covid I’m having to wait a bit longer for my miscarriage clinic referral appointment to come through. My doctor has given me the all clear to keep trying in the meantime. But I’m so fed up and drained with it. I just need advice if anyone has been referred to the miscarriage clinic and what was the outcome, if any. Because I’m very doubtful I’ll get answers.

Oh I see you've got pregnant again good luck !!!

Fawn68 · 10/02/2021 13:29

@MollySxx I have to collect mines either today or tomorrow morning so I should have it tomorrow by the latest, bit nervous about starting it but hopefully it helps us both and they've booked me in for an early scan on 3rd March Smile

Moominmiss · 10/02/2021 13:36

@MollySxx so the pessaries I have are a small white thing coated in a white waxy substance. They’re shaped like a little rocket lol.

You just insert them yourself with your fingers. You can insert them vaginally or rectally. I just pop them in vaginally.

The only thing I would say, and I didn’t realise until I posted about them in the pregnancy board, but the waxy substance does ‘melt’ off fairly quickly and you end up leaking a fair bit of white milky discharge which is totally normal, but makes a mess of underwear so I’d definitely recommend wearing a sanitary pad.

At night I don’t worry though as lying down it doesn’t leak out in the same way.

X

So i got this this morning 😁 im scared though 😩 xx

Emmav2020 · 10/02/2021 13:38

It wont let me post the pic but a postive test x

MollySxx · 10/02/2021 13:39

@Moominmiss I’m so clumsy, so I just had a sudden thought I’d make a mess of it😂 sounds pretty straight forward. I’m just weirdly excited to get started.

@Fawn68 they told me because of Covid they aren’t doing an early scan unless you’re bleeding, so I’ve had to book one myself privately, which I’ve book for 2 weeks time when I’ll be 7 weeks

@MollySxx aw no that's disappointing! I'm Ireland so things must be different here, good that you have one booked yourself though x

Fawn68 · 10/02/2021 13:45

@Moominmiss do you insert them at night time? X

MollySxx · 10/02/2021 13:48

@Fawn68 I can’t keep up with all the different rules. But I just know I’ll probs be paying for a fair amount of scans for my own sanity.

@Emmav2020 oh my, congratulations! Press the paper clip button and it should let you attach a picture. I did my first response this morning and I’ve promised myself I won’t do any more now x

Fawn68 · 10/02/2021 14:32

@Emmav2020 congratulations! How many dpo are you?

Good test @MollySxx

I tested this morning also on a frer and that's me now I won't be testing again!

Emmav2020 · 10/02/2021 14:35

@Fawn68 ive not been tracking but i think around 10day xx

Moominmiss · 10/02/2021 16:06

@Fawn68 the cyclogest ones I have are 200mg each and I’m on a 400mg a day dose.

So it’s one in the morning when I get up and then one at night when I go to bed xx

MollySxx · 11/02/2021 07:50

@Emmav2020 it’s a pretty clear positive, but it’s all down to personal preference on testing. I’m trying to fight the urge to test again this morning😂

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 11/02/2021 12:27

@MollySxx Did you test this morning? What about your progesterone, I got mines this morning so ive started it now!

MollySxx · 11/02/2021 12:40

@Fawn68 I caved and did it😂 I’m not going to tomorrow. I have a BETA blood test tomorrow at 9:10am, so hopefully the results of that should put my mind at ease to not keep seeing a line is there. And nope, still haven’t heard back. I really hope I get it by Monday. I’m not at all hopeful this week to get it since it’s Friday tomorrow. So annoying because the prescription is there and it just needs to be signed by the hospital to send to my gp x

After today I’m not testing, and I mean it this time😂

Fawn68 · 11/02/2021 12:49

@MollySxx 😂 so hard to not test! But those are all good. Hopefully the beta tests will put your mind at ease! Have you been having many symptoms at all? I know it's still very early. That's rather annoying, that's the way mines was so I had to collect it from the EPU ward this morning then take it straight to my Gp and then get a prescription from her. So silly too as I'm sure it could have been faxed, but anyway I'm glad I've got it and really hoping it helps things this time. Trying to relax as much as possible!

MollySxx · 11/02/2021 12:55

@Fawn68 because I’ve lost so much in the smallest amount of time I’m just paranoid at everything. But I do feel different this time. So my first sign was sore boobs. They are more sore in the morning and evening I’ve noticed. Stomach is rock solid soon as I eat. I’ve just had an hours nap because today I feel so tired. Also had some waves of sick feeling, but not actually been sick. Haven’t had cramps or anything that I’ve noticed. But overall, all this is so different to my 3 pregnancies that I lost early x

OP posts:
Emmav2020 · 11/02/2021 14:23

@MollySxx Im going to do a clearblue in a week or so see what weeks it reads. I feel different this one as well. i keep feeling sick for like a second or 2 and water mouth. you know when your hungover and get that watery mouth and sick feeling, bit like that. Not that hungry either. feeling fed up today, I think the next couple of months are going to drag. Wish we weren't in lockdown then at least we can all go out and keep busy, maybe even go away for few days. Do anything right now just to go for a pub lunch or meal. A reason to get a little dressed up.

Where is everyone from on here? xx

MollySxx · 11/02/2021 14:30

@Emmav2020 I couldn’t agree more! It’s the constantly having Groundhog Day and for me that means more time to think. I’m now working late shifts. So I finish work at 11pm. I start today at 3pm. That keeps that bit of my day occupied. But I definitely feel like I’ll keep looking at dates and waiting for my scan I have on the 27th. I wish I could just jump in time and not be in this early stage. It’s honestly torture x
