Hi,
(Also posted this in miscarriage talk, but had no replies)

So a quick summary. In 2015 I was pregnant with Identical twin girls, I lost them at 24 weeks with TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) I gave birth to them both.

Fast forward to 2020, I fall pregnant in March and I miscarry at 9 weeks after a private scan showed no baby on the screen. An empty sac. We tried again in the June and it took us until October to fall pregnant again. I found out on October 24th and on the 31st I started bleeding and was told it was a chemical pregnancy because the hospital test came back negative, but I had positives the week before on blue dye tests and digital ones. I was 5 weeks pregnant. I then fell pregnant again straight after I presume, no period whole of the November, faint positives on tests, started bleeding heavily on December 13th and was told it was a miscarriage again.

And to now, I’ve had a pelvis ultrasound, came back with the lining of my womb fine, the womb fine, my ovaries just showed a small amount of cysts so was given blood tests to check for polycystic ovaries, got those results back and all came back clear and no further action needed. Had tests for Thrombophilia, also came back clear. And I’ve had a period since the December loss.

Due to Covid I’m having to wait a bit longer for my miscarriage clinic referral appointment to come through. My doctor has given me the all clear to keep trying in the meantime. But I’m so fed up and drained with it. I just need advice if anyone has been referred to the miscarriage clinic and what was the outcome, if any. Because I’m very doubtful I’ll get answers.

@MollySxx ahh yesterday I was so nauseous on and off most of the day, then had to go to bed early because I was feeling so sick but not sure if that's because I ate too much Grin

I'm not bloated at all anymore though and that's worrying me, still extremely tired and the cramps I had on and off most of yesterday afternoon but they seem to have gone now too! Hope you get sorted keep me updated x

MollySxx · 15/02/2021 10:25

@Fawn68 I can relate on the bloated feeling. I don’t feel as full feeling, if that makes sense? The back ache I had on Saturday went overnight as well and I haven’t had it back since. I also did a digital yesterday and it’s progressed from 1-2, to 2-3, so I was pleased with that.

And as soon as I know, I shall let you know. I’m getting really impatient with it now. Especially because I’m over the 5 week mark now and it’s getting into that 6/7 weeks danger zone where I’ve miscarried. Trying to stay positive x

@MollySxx we seem to share the same symptoms, good for reassurance. That's great! With my previous mc's, my first one the clear blue never changed from 1-2 and I was always getting faint lines on tests so I knew something wasn't right from the start. So that's a great positive for you! I haven't done any clear blue and I'm scared to do any incase they don't show the right weeks 😔 but I might at the end of the week as I will be 5 weeks tomorrow! Great to have people to share this journey and anxiety with, who have been through the same thing. I really appreciate it x

MollySxx · 15/02/2021 11:03

@Fawn68 the doctors have just text me, and yes I mean text message. They’ve just text me my result for the beta HCG blood test I had on Friday and it was 157, I don’t know if that’s bad or good because they didn’t say. I’m not frantically out of my mind. They also said nothing from the hospital has come through. Which again, I am furious about. I’m annoyed my doctor didn’t ring so I could ask questions. I feel really let down here. I feel like I’m constantly ringing and chasing it up x

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 15/02/2021 11:09

@MollySxx gosh sorry I'm not sure with the hcg results, if your lines are getting darker and the digital has progressed then I would imagine that's a good sign. If the numbers weren't good the doctor would have called? But I thought with hcg what was important was that they doubled in 48 hours so really you would have needed to get these redone today. I had to get hcg checked my last pregnancy and they had to do them 48 hours apart!

MollySxx · 15/02/2021 11:14

@Fawn68 thats exactly what I presume, they retest to see if the number has doubled from Friday until now. Honestly fed up chasing medical help I’ve been told I can receive. Rang the hospital and they have authorised an email and sent a letter to my doctors. So I’ve just expressed my frustration with it and they are now ringing the doctors for me. So fingers crossed my doctors stop being so difficult x

@Fawn68 UPDATE! The hospital rang my GP and I now have my progesterone ready to pick up at 3pm today. Finally

Fawn68 · 15/02/2021 12:34

@MollySxx great so glad! Get it started when you get to bed, after having researched it is seems that taking it 12 hours apart is best. That doesn't say that on mines it says morning and night but I think for it to most effective it should be 12 hours so I take mines at 7:40 am and 7:40pm

MollySxx · 15/02/2021 12:37

@Fawn68 I’m very excited to try it and get on with it. Do you have to lay down for a while in the morning after taking it?

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 15/02/2021 12:59

@MollySxx yea the recommend 30 mins! My DS wakes up at 8:20ish so this gives enough time. I have had to wear a pantyliner too in the mornings because it can stain quite a bit

MollySxx · 15/02/2021 13:01

@Fawn68 was just thinking about when I go to work. But if it’s just 30 minutes, that’s more than okay to fit in x

Little update. Had my HCG bloods taken again yesterday and they were 157 on Friday and as of yesterday they were 600. So rising which is good. First pessary was done this morning, so far so good. And I have my 12 week scan through which is 6th April and my midwife appointment which is 11th March. Both dates seeming a world away x

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 16/02/2021 15:18

@MollySxx oh brilliant, glad you're doctor redone them. The pessaries are ok, aren't they? I done another test this morning just as it was the last one! I'm feeling content at the moment as I've had quite a lot of nauseous today and yesterday and boobs have got pretty sore. Though I do know it could be the progesterone! Good to have dates, I haven't got the 12 week one through yet but I have the early scan on the 3rd March x

Emmav2020 · 16/02/2021 15:20

@MollySxx glad tobhear everything ok. I got letter this morning got my first appt 2nd march. How are you feeling? Im permanently bloated still, tired from around 6pm and waves of nausea abd back ache xx

MollySxx · 16/02/2021 15:21

@Fawn68 I don’t know what I expected from the progesterone, but it was straight forward and so far so good. Ready for my night time one when I finish work. I’ve felt rather sicky feeling yesterday and today. Very on and off though I’ve found x

OP posts:
MollySxx · 16/02/2021 15:23

@Emmav2020 I had backache yesterday and I was really worried and mentioned it when I was at the doctors, they checked it over and said it was all fine. Could just be trauma from my job and past heavy lifting and the muscle can squeeze up apparently. I feel like my bloat has gone a little bit

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 16/02/2021 15:24

Yes mines has been on and off also, but since yesterday it's definitely more often! I seem to be tired from I wake up til I go to bed. This was this mornings test!

@Fawn68 yes my tiredness is the same.

Has any of you notices very white cm? X

Emmav2020 · 16/02/2021 15:31

@MollySxx my line or did you mean @Fawn68?x

Fawn68 · 16/02/2021 15:38

Mines is quite white and creamy but also with residue from the progesterone most of the day so it's kinda hard to tell how much is cm for me! Now is the perfect excuse for a new bed Smile

MollySxx · 16/02/2021 15:49

@Emmav2020 I work in Lidl, the supermarket. I was on early shifts pre to finding out I was pregnant. Which was 5am starts. But that involved heavy lifting ect and my boss hasn’t done a risk assessment yet, so I’ve taken matters into my own hands and put myself on close shifts which finish at 22:30pm and are less heavy duties. They have offered me 12 weeks off fully paid also, so I’m considering it after my 7 weeks scan when I know everything is progressing the way it should be.

As for the CM, I had a lot when I first found out I was pregnant and I mean a lot. Now it’s just fits and spirts. But I can relate to @Fawn68 I didn’t notice a lot this morning after the pessary x

OP posts:
Fawn68 · 16/02/2021 20:05

@MollySxx that's good that you got your shifts changed! I'm having quite uncomfortable cramps tonight, getting a bit worried. Feels like there on my ovaries and quite similar to AF pain 😔

Emmav2020 · 16/02/2021 21:57

@MollySxx glad you managed to sort out changing your hours. Yday i had more than normal cm and it was really white aswell. Didnt smell though. Thats good about 12 weeks off.

@Fawn68 id just read your comment and ive been in bed with cramps/twinges aswell, quite far down lower stomach. Also sore boobs. Soon as i touch them or stand up with no bra on and they drop a little there sore x

Fawn68 · 16/02/2021 22:12

@Emmav2020 must be normal around this time, you would think I would remember from my first baby Confused Mines have eased now but it was pretty uncomfortable earlier! Oh gosh my boobs are that tiny I wouldn't even feel them drop hahaha!!!
