Trying for Jan BFP

Anyone else now trying for a jan BFP? 14dpo and cd27 today and now have pink spotting on wiping. Just waiting for cd1 again now x

Hello! 👋 I’m joining you! I’m currently about day 5 of AF so only a couple of days left then will be trying again. Hoping for a BFP in Jan ☺️ This will be month 13 of trying for us, although had a loss April this year. I’m guessing I’ll ovulate around Xmas day or just after, maybe closer to New Year’s Eve, so here’s for happy holidays and lots of DTD 🙊😁
Re your pink spotting - there’s no chance you might be pregnant already?

@Wombat84 I feel your pain, I always get spotting the days before AF - it's so annoying just waiting for the witch! At least in the 2WW you have the hope to cling on to. Hopefully January is your month though!

I'm pretty much the same as @Farfaraway1 in both I'm just reaching the end of AF and I'm into cycle 13 having started TTC back in January 😑 I've also had a loss in August but it was a chemical so a very early loss just before 5 weeks. Have you spoke to your GP yet? I was really hoping it would happen before I'd have to think about going there for help.

@2020mission sorry to hear about your loss. It’s hard seeing those two lines, even if it’s just for a week you get your hopes up, then it’s all over ☹️ I had a miscarriage in April but turned out to be an incomplete miscarriage which wasn’t picked up until June, so then went in for a D&C. Not long after that I had a chemical as well. I recently had a really irregular cycle so I went back to GP as was worried, they sent me for bloods and a scan which both came back normal. So now just back to the waiting game! 😬 pleased not to be on this journey alone though., 💖

Hello. I am nearing the end of AF following a chemical/ early loss. Been a rollercoaster few days but feeling positive for 2021. Due to ovulate beginning of Jan but could be delayed as cycle is messed up a bit I think. Fingers crossed January will be the month for us all!

I tested on a FRER at 14dpo and it was BFN.

My last two periods have been weird so think I'm having another of those. I had the spotting last night and nothing since.

My last period was two days of pink spotting on some wipes but not all, a day of light flow then two further days of the spotting on some wipes.

The month before was one day of the spotting on some wipes, a day of light flow then two days of the spotting on some wipes.

I had never in my life spotted before.

Sorry tmi but I usually get like a bloody mucus on one wipe then next time I go to the toilet I'll have a full flow and it lasts for 5 days.

I'm 36 now. My first two years of periods they never stopped and we're mega heavy I used to have meds to stop them. Then they put me on the pill and on that I was fine.

I came off the pill at age 26 and had my daughter. I never went back on it then, we just used condoms. So I've taken no birth control for 10 years so it's not that affecting my system.

I stopped taking my pregnacare on cd6 this month as I thought they were affecting my cycles. I still think they were.

Last month I didn't ovulate til cd20 and the month before was cd19. As soon as I stopped taking my pregnacare I got my static smiley and according to bbt I ovulated on cd10 this time.

Just want a normal period now so I can carry on ttc x

@Wombat84 you poor thing, it’s been bit of a roller coaster for you hasn’t it! That’s so interesting about the pregnacare!! Sounds like a good thing you’re not taking it anymore..
I’m similar age, recently turned 37. I know what it’s like just wanting a normal period. Hopefully it will properly start up in the next day or two. xx

Can I join please. I’m currently 2 dpo I’m guessing as not tracking but based on previous tracked months. 4 months of ttc but 2 loses. I am 40 so fingers crossed x

@Farfaraway1 thank you - seems like it is a common experience judging from the comments here which is reassuring in some strange way if that makes sense?! Sorry to hear what you went through. Fingers crossed for 2021 x

@Wombat84 interesting about the pregnacare and your ovulation date. I usually ovulate on cd 20, not taking pregnacare and don't know if there is anything I can do to bring it forward. Hopefully AF will arrive soon.

I got pregnant in July with our first baby but miscarried in September at 13 weeks.
I always have irregular cycles, currently CD 10 and due to ovulate around 31st Dec.

I bought a BBT thermometer this month and use OPKs, last month was the first period I had since my miscarriage and it hurt me emotionally more than I thought it would.
Our miscarriage devastated me but I’m ready to try again for our wee family.

AF due tomorrow, done a FRER today and for BFN so back to ttc. Was really hopeful this month too 😟 Been trying since June, but I'm 41 so starting to get a bit down that it might not happen. Got dc 19,18,15 and 13 with XDh, but DP has no kids. We didn't think we wanted anymore but something suddenly clicked for both of us and now we're both desperate so feeling pretty glum at the moment. Going to start temping, see if that helps!!

@Eppy123 - I'm in a very similar boat. Miscarriage at the end of October at 13 weeks. I absolutely know the pain you describe. Sending you a million good vibes.

We decided to try again quite quickly and I'm very much hoping for a positive in Jan.

@ClaraBean sorry for your BFN. It's so disappointing isn't it. I don't want to even think of how much money I've spend on HPT's!! 🙊 and every time I get a BFN I stare at it for ages hoping to see a line 😔 hoping Jan is my month too but also going to try and relax and have a nice Christmas and try not to stress about it too much. Can I join in? On cd10 and due to ovulate on Saturday. Came off the pill last month and just finished my first AF so very excited! We’re having sex everyday this week to try and get pregnant ASAP.

Question... I have quite obvious ovulation signs / symptoms like the pains and the discharge. When is the best time to DTD when you have the pains or see the discharge? I heard somewhere that 12 hours after ovulation pains is when you actual ovulate?

@Farfaraway1 not sure on this one but I get symptoms about 2-3 days before my LH surge and temp dip/rise. I think it depends on the person but as long as you have DTD every other day around the right time you will be covered.

@Farfaraway1 honestly try not to think too much about catching exactly at ovulation. It's best to get as many of those swimmers in there in advance of it, so keep going every day or every second day until after when ovulation could happen.

Hi all, can I hop on? On CD5 now so will hopefully ovulate around NYE! Been trying since August and not a whiff of a BFP... wasn't on the pill and cycles regular 🤷‍♀️ DH has a varicocele - has anyone had any experience with TTC with that?? Anyone else hoping as they can't go anywhere or do anything over xmas they will be so relaxed it will all just happen?

Is having sex everyday worse for spent quality than every other day? I’m finding really conflicting views on this!

@FearTheLiving I always wonder that too but did see something the other day that said men with low sperm count actually improve their count by having sex every day! However it is exhausting and takes the fun out of it in my view...

We’re quite lucky that we have sex everyday anyway but was going to ration it down if it meant improving our chances haha!

@FearTheLiving I'm impressed. We're usually a once a week couple (at the most 😂). We've really gone for it this month though - I think my DH is somewhere between exhausted and elated.

We're now 3DPO. AF due sometime around Jan 1st I think - my cycle is a bit messed up after the miscarriage.

So - the two week wait begins. Looking forward to having some of you ladies join me soon 🤞🏻x

We have been ttc number 2 for nearly a year. I finally got pregnant in august, mmc in sept and MVA in oct. Cycle returned in November and I'm just finishing AF after a December chemical. Feeling a bit disheartened and hoping for a January bfp.

I am a stone heavier than when I conceived my first child and my miscarriage, so I am worried that's the reason for my failure to sustain a pregnancy as I am now a size 14 and feel massive so I'm gonna try not to be too bad over Christmas and proper diet straight afterwards!

Hello! How are you all? Can I join too please? TTC for the first time, have been off the pill since the end of March and no luck as of yet! Have been doing OPKs and a month here and there of BBT, knew this month wasn't the month but can't help but feel gutted. Would have been a nice end to a hard year, but trying to be positive for 2021. CD1 today so a new month and another try 🥰

Hi all! Marking my place! Think I'm a little behind you all as I'm still waiting for December's AF which is due next week! If that arrives on time (we weren't really TTC due to clashes next year and taking time out after a MMC)
