TTC after a chemical pregnancy / early miscarriage

Hi everyone, on a few really supportive threads on here but thought I’d make another for anyone who may be in a similar position to me and we can support eachother... I’m petrified of trying again after last month tbh.

Last week I thought our dreams had finally come true when I got 3 BFP (including a digital!).. a week later I was bleeding and a call to the EPU confirmed it was a chemical pregnancy / early miscarriage.. so I’m back here and tomorrow will be CD1 cycle 4 (I know so many people have been trying so much longer) but just didn’t expect to be back so soon after getting a BFP.

So tomorrow marks CD5.. AF is due around 1st August and I promise to not POAS (apart from the one I need to pee on tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy is gone!) until 8th August if AF doesn’t show.. I can’t risk seeing a chemical and testing early again so have told myself never again will I test early.

My temps think I ovulated sooo early! Not even getting a faint line on OPKs now, very very strange! Good luck all xxxx

@Littlebee1990 I'm experiencing something similar - except my temps aren't fluctuating at all. I ovulated last cycle on CD 16, I'm now CD 19. I'm barely seeing anything on the cheap OPKs but I have just had flashing smileys on CB today and yesterday so something's happening.

I am sure it's just that the last bleed wasn't a menstrual bleed so things are just settling down again - a bit like when I came off the pill and my things were a bit all over the place (except I wasn't so bloody sad all the time then).

Perseverance - it will all work out!

@Littlebee1990 I'm not a doctor... but your temps look like you ovulated on CD12, so you'd have got your peak on CD11, maybe CD10. I also ovulate early sometimes so I start testing from CD8. Missed it loads of months when I first started TTC! xx

😔 it’s definitely gotten a lot lighter. Just makes it harder seeing that it’s not a negative yet.

Worried about the scan on Monday. Was hoping i would get told it was all done naturally and we could look to the future.

Hey everyone, hope you’re all ok! Is anyone getting really sore boobs after a chemical p? I got an early BFP on 23 June but started bleeding on 27 June, which would have been 5+1. I took an ovulation test which said high fertility on CD15 but the next day said low, so I think that CD15 was ov day. Now I’m on CD21 and REALLY sore boobs, like stabbing pain and can’t wear a bra! We did the deed on CD16 but don’t wanna get my hopes up... I’m kind of thinking maybe it’s just my hormones still going haywire

I started my OPK on day 15 (usual cycle is around 35 days) and had a light line on day 16 so didn’t think anything of it but then had just the control line on day 17 so now I’m worried I’ve missed it. We did have sex on day 17 but quite late in the day because I suddenly panicked. Just going to keep going with my OPKs until at least after I would expect to normally ovulate, but you just don’t know what your body is doing after mc!

Took two more this morning. The top one is when I’d watered down the wee.

I know I’ll get my answers on Monday, but I’m scared I’m going to need medical management, it just sounds horrific.

I just thought time wise I’d be ovulating this weekend, I didn’t expect the tests to be as dark as they are.

I even got oh to poas to see if they were duds (he’s happy to confirm he’s not pg)

@Littlebee1990 Thankyou 💕 I’m dreading tomorrow. I’ve started to let myself imagine they’re going to find a heartbeat, which my brain knows isn’t going to happen. Just wish OH was allowed in to hold my hand, & ask al the questions I forget.

The internet is still not being helpful in whether you can ovulate If you’re still getting positive tests.

I kno they say 14 days from start of mc but my cm doesn’t look right, it’s still quite brown and thic.

Just want to start on our rainbow baby.

I’m CD20 and not had a peak OPK or any CM, it’s so disheartening, just wanted to move forward. Please drop me a message after tomorrow. I’m routing for a miracle for you xxx

@Sansa87 I really hope you get some wonderful news today.

I took an ovulation test today and it was positive. Just feeling quite negative today like it won’t work anyway or if we do conceive it won’t stay. I’m feeling really nauseous today too but think the symptom spotting must have started already.

I hope you ladies get your ovulation soon. I would expect things would be a bit out of sync with what has happened. The waiting is just awful though xx

Missed miscarriage.

I’ve had the tablets put up the vag, and Having to lay here for an hour, before doing home and waiting for it to begin.

Very scared, but being sent home with codeine.

I'm 99% I'll have AF tomorrow so out for this cycle. I feel very down about it. I'm over 40 and TTC with a donor so really feel like I'm never going to be a parent.

I kind of want my first AF to come just so I can “re-set”, because I would expect to be ovulating by now and don’t think I am! Every day I can just hear the clock ticking it’s so hideous.

I ovulated really late this month, cd26! So it could happen really late? Xx

I'd like to join ,
Had a positive digital test last Friday
But by Sunday afternoon I was having slight cramps and spotting ,
hoping it was just implantation and

Monday the real bleeding started

tested Monday evening and negative
I just want this to finish
