Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

My cycles are irregular & long (joys of years on the pill) but last cycle was 47 days.
CD31 today so should hopefully ovulate soon although i’m “relaxing” this month & not using OPKs. Would be my 1st baby too :) x x

@hollywhooo same as me, was on the pill for years. Wish I never did! How long have you been trying? I'm cycle day 29, sore boobs/nipples so I think it's my period 😪 still dtd just incase I'm ovulating really late.

Came off the pill April last year but only been really trying for like 4 months, what about you? Do you use OPKs or anything? I feel so much calmer about it all this month but maybe because my minds distracted with worrying about Coronavirus lol. How old are you? X x

Me! Between 37-87 but average 37-40. Currently CD10.. yawn!

Been off the pill (after 10 years on) september 2018. Had various cycles between 35-48 days! But since seltember 2019 a year later ive mainly had 32 day cycles with the odd 38 day! And since sept 2019 ive had breast pain 1 week before af is due. Dont know if this means my body took a year to get back to normal?

@hollywhooo we never officially said we were trying, we just aren't being careful lol I secretly hope every month! I used OPKs a few times but I felt so much pressure with them!😪 oh I know how you feel, with this tipis virus I'm actually worried about being pregnant! Lol I am 26 :) how about you? Xx

@Luckylola12 hey :) they do say it can take up to a year for your body to adjust again! I think mine is taking longer :( I've got sore boobs today cd29

@xoJellyBean yeah i stopped using them for the same reason its draining seeing a faint/no line for like 30 days haha. I’m 27 :)

@xoJellyBean yeah, the 87 dayer nearly broke me. September to December. It was tough because a family member announced their pregnancy and their last period was the same as mine but she was pregnant and I was....broken.. 😔☹️

I have used OPKs and have invested in a Clearblue digital this month. Last month we tried dtd every other day for the important bit but (tmi) my husband is pretty large and when it mattered I was pretty broken and too sore- it wasn't fun. This month we hope to time it a bit better 😳😳😳.

I do temp though and would recommend it. I'm getting into the routine and find useful. Got my paperwork through from the fertility clinic last week but have to wait for a few more bloods repeated. Unfortunately I need to wait until a certain stage in my cycle. That's a wait then... 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Please can I join :) 40 day cycles 😴 currently on day 21 due to ovulate day 26, using ovulation tests daily and tracking them using premom app. First cycle of trying

Hi everyone, can I join? My cycles range from 35-50. I'm currently CD19, ovulation expected a week today but I have some watery cervical fluid so it could come earlier! Who knows?

Just wanted to share and spread some positivity.. I got pregnant naturally, without trying last August and I ovulated CD33. I sadly miscarried at nearly 8 weeks. But just sending you all some hope that it absolutely can happen, even if your cycles are long :) I have suspected PCOS too so that throws another spanner in the works!

I totally recommend temping and have done this for years. It can confirm ovulation (not predict it) and is so easy to do. Lashings of baby dust to everyone xxx

@danielasummer welcome! Thanks for sharing your story! Sorry to hear about the mc, but like you say atleast you know its possible to conceive =)
I really would like to try temping this month! I have a monitor that i got off amazon so why not right? May sound silly but im just unsure how to actually do it right?

Welcome @lydia771 =) long cycles are frustrating right? But lots of positivity is needed! I get so fed up when af arrives.....i enjoy lots of wine haha! But after af finishes i calm down and get quite excited to try again =)

I am so glad there's so many out there the same! Encouraging :) I am cd30 now, sore boobs & those oh so familiar period pains. So glad this app is here, great for ranting girls :)

LH surge happening... so it seems ovulation will occur a day or 2 earlier than my apps predict!

What cycle day is everyone on? I am day 31 now! Has cramps yesterday but no period yet.🤞🏻

Day 34 for me - think I ovulated on Monday but not using OPKs so just going off pains. Not as consumed by it this month with everything else going on!

Hi guys - is it best to DTD now or wait till LH starts to decrease? How long does it normally stay dark for? Not even sure if I've reached peak yet as it isn't darker than the other line! This is so confusing

Also had quite a sharp pain since yesterday in lower right side around ovary!

Is say this evening for sure. Keep testing every 4 hours too. Then if you can dtd again tomorrow. Good luck.

@hollywhooo another friend told me she's pregnant. That'll bring the grand total to 4!! Can't cope lol
