Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

Just checking in to see how everyone is!
AF due on Monday so i tested today - BFN!
All week i’ve been telling myself it would be the wrong time to fall pregnant with everything that’s going on but was still gutted. Feels like i’m never going to see that second line :( plus a friend gave birth this morning.

Anyway, wait for AF to arrive then onto the next cycle although going to take a very relaxed approach to the next couple of months.

@hollywhooo hello! How are you? I am currently 5dpo although my app says 7 but I think it's worked my cover line out from a dodgy temp (I temp)
sooooo after I invested in clear blue ovulation sticks... I ovulated on CD18! (Or 16 of my app is correct but based on mega EWCM and cramping I still think it was CD18) so I didn't get to use them!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

We dtd on that morning anyhow but I'm mega relaxed because I just know that didn't do it (it was the only time since the weekend before too). Still I've had a shorted cycle! It's the shortest ever. I temp and since doing that I've not took a test. I would now only test if my temp stayed up- but of course it doesn't 🤨

Yeah i’m annoyed with myself for testing. I’ve promised myself that I won’t again until i’ve missed a period although that’s easier said than done with irregular cycles 🙄

Thank you @hollywhooo. The same to you too. How many dpo are you? They say it only takes once. I'm convinced that only happens in the movies 😂 for all those years I was worried about getting pregnant 🤦🏻‍♀️ don't make me laugh (I say to myself 🤣)

Hi Girls, may i join this thread? - my cycles are usually either bang on 35 or bang on 38 except i lost my baby at 22 weeks in feb and the cycle following this was 39 days. We are ready to try again as it all we want 🙏

Im currently 12 dpo following my first AF after my loss and due to ovulate next weekend according to my natural cycles app.. i am using cb connected opk too, what are all you using for ttc?

Hello @Hayleylou89 I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. That's devastating. I really, really wish you the very best.

As well as taking 4g of Myo-inositol and vitamin d, I use OPKs and temp. Temping is fascinating! It's also the only way to confirm ovulation so it's nice to see it.

Thanks for replying 😘... yeah i temp too and pay for natural cycles app and its been pretty spot on for me... im hoping to get my peak on my opk this coming week and then ill be in the tww then :)

@Hayleylou89 according to Femometer app I'm 8dpo but I'd say I'm actually 6dpo as I think it showed my ovulation day wrong. My temperature is pretty much the same again this month. The usual pattern. It's gone up a tad today, will go down a tad tomorrow. It's the usual set up. I had my last lot of bloods before I have my appointment at the fertility clinic, although this month will be a 30 day cycle which is totally unheard of for me. How are your temps looking at 13dpo? When is your period due?

I'm looking on amazon for a thermometer but lots have mixed reviews on whether they work properly etc, can anyone recommend one please? Thank you

Also.. high everyone. Lurker here! I've been watching this thread since the beginning. Usually 35-50 kind of girl but this cycle I magically ovulated on CD22 (unheard of).

@Mycrazylife85 13 DPO today i think although i didn’t use OPKs this month so just going off pains 🤷🏼‍♀️
It will be a year next month since i came off my pill :(

@Hayleylou89 welcome! I’m so sorry for your loss & have everything crossed for you! I was using OPKs but am trying to be more relaxed about it all for a bit. Other than that just taking Vitamin D.

@Mycrazylife85 aww no im cd 13 not 13 dpo so waiting and praying on ovulating soon... my natural cycles app predicts ovulation a week today but im hoping its sooner than that - iv just been getting high fertility on my cb monitor so I'm patiently waiting for my peak my temp was really low this morning so not sure what that means it went to 36.06 from 36.34 the day before x How have u been feeling have u had any symtoms? X

Ah duh 🤦🏻‍♀️!!. Not at all in terms of symptoms. Everything's stopped and I really fully expect to see AF (she's due the day before our 8th wedding anniversary 😒🥊) I get annoyed at myself for letting myself daydream about AF not coming, or getting a temperature spike, but deep down I know I won't see it. I'm feeling okay though. Pleased it'll be a shorter cycle. In fact I don't think I've ever had such a short cycle! Maybe next month I'll get to crack open those expensive clear blue digitals 😂

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining .

My cycles range from 33-38 days (with one shorter 30 day cycle in December 19). I've been off birth control for 2 years and we are in 2nd cycle of TTC.

Have some symptoms of PCOS (mainly hormonal acne) but haven't had any tests done yet. BMI normal.

Currently on CD34 with positive OPKs on CD27 (all day) and CD28 (am) so. Feel like AF is on it's way, have had some cramping for 3-4 days now.

Already getting so frustrated with ttc ..Wanted to join this tread as I don't feel like I have anyone to discuss all of this with. Most of my friends have babies already and although I know it took a while for some of them to conceive, I can't help but feel it'll never happen for us.

Was not prepared to feel so down about this whole process :(

Sooo according to my app AF was due today. I always get cramps before and have had nothing but took a negative test 4 days ago and when your cycles are so messed up who knows when you’re actually classes as late!! Really don’t want to see another negative so not going to bother testing again and gonna just wait it out. Hope everyone’s okay!

Long cycles, irregular to an extent and PCOS here. Can't win 😂

Hey ladies, I'm on cycle day 35 and 3 days after my period was supposed to come I got 3 days worth of brown discharge, I haven't tracked my ovulation so I'm n9t sure when I ovulated. Done tests today but negative, I just don't know how to explain it but I FEEL pregnant like.. idk how to explain this feeling. But the discharge started on Friday finished on Monday and have had on and off twinges... don't know what to think

I’d love to join, I also have long cycles and it makes the wait sooooo long! I am currently on CD30 and 9DPO, tested this morning but BFN. I’ve had period like pains for almost two week, which have been driving me insane whilst in isolation. I don’t think we BD enough last month, so I just want AF to hurry up so we can start again. My cycle is usually 34 days so due on Wednesday.

I just want to start again but waiting another 24 days for ovulation is so annoying any tips on getting through it each month.

Like you i’ve also been getting period like pains. I usually only get them for a few hours before AF starts but had them for a couple of days running this week.
Currently CD 51, was expecting AF 5 days ago but not used OPKs this month just basing that on ovulation pain. Have tested twice, most recently 2 days ago and BFN 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think my body is broken haha

Im getting sooo fed up girls its my first proper full cycle since my 22.5wk loss iv had one proper period and now im cd 22 and my normal cycles are 35-38 days and last month was my first 39 day cycle and the clear blue connected is just still flashing with high fertility this is going on 13 flashing smiley faces in a row and its driving me mad.. iv never used cb ones before have any of you had similar issues with having quite long cycles?? Feel like ill never get my peak 😒 x

I feel your pain! I’ve given up with OPK’s, I’m just trying to DTD every 2-3 days. Mine shows high for such a long time.

Although at the minute I’m just waiting for AF to arrive, don’t feel pregnant got a BFN at 11DPO. Hopefully it will arrive this week I’m usually 34-36 days. Just hate the wait for AF to arrive, feeling so frustrated 😫

I actually thought the tww was bad but this is worse i think not knowing if uv even ovulated 🙈😂 did a cheapy pregnancy test this morning just incase and just got what looks like an evap dont know why i done it mainly cos iv been having cramps and i did get my strongest opk 5 days ago and probably cos i have poas obsession but looks just like an evap so not hopefully its anything else as i took it before my bath and checked it about 20 mins later after my bath x

I’m not going to test now until Sunday which is when my app says to test. I don’t think I’m pregnant so if I get to Sunday and still no AF I’ll test again. I was testing like mad 6-8DPO knowing I wasn’t going to get a positive 🤷🏻‍♀️ I become crazy in the tww. I think I was out on my ovulation by a few days 😫 that’s why I’m not going to test as much this month, I become obsessed and I’m not sure it’s always correct.
