Hey girls... thought I'd make a new post I'm struggling to find new ones 😂 I'm 28 nearly 29 and my other half is also the same age! I'm currently on my period and this is the month we have decided to start trying! I'm so excited but also do not want to get my Hope's up as I know it can be a very long journey to get that BFP! Anyone else trying this month? I'm looking to get ovulation sticks to increase my chances xxx

Thank you! Fingers crossed for everyone 😊 still feels weird to have gone ten(ish) years trying desperately NOT to get pregnant and now, all of a sudden, that’s the goal Grin

@Elley2912 According to the app and BBT it's 11 dpo, according to the opk sticks I'm about 13/14 dpo but I think I have a short luteus phase generally. Hard to say as I've only been off the pill for two complete cycles.

@Ughmaybenot I know right!?!! Honestly our first month of unprotected I couldn't fathom why I wasn't pregnant! I knew it was unlikely but also I've trained myself over the years to believe I'd immediately get pregnant if we didn't use protection!!!! It's mental

@TFC90 that’s exactly it!! I know I’ll feel the same if (when, probably) I don’t get a positive straight away 😂 daft isn’t it? And I keep telling myself it’ll likely not happen straight away but I know I’ll still be disappointed. What a game.

@Ughmaybenot @tfc90 I know! I keep telling my husband I don't understand how people get pregnant by accident because the window is so much smaller than I'd ever really appreciated before haha. Fingers crossed for us all!

I only came off my pill in December and had my withdrawal bleed in Jan. Hoping this month is back to normal for me but who knows?!

Remember how I said that I will not test until my AF is due and I will behave well and hold off for as long as I can?
Well, sod it. I will start testing today. Watched too many of those 'progression' thingies online. Expecting today's one to be negative..

I was a foul mood today. And nearly burst into tears at work, which is so not me. Don't know if it's early days of PMS or a sign of something more positive.

Hey hope you don't mind if i join, been a lurker for a couple of weeks. Me and hub started ttc end December. Came off pill mid December had withdrawal until christmas day. Currently cd56 with no signs of period and spent about 30 quid on prego tests just to get bfn after bfn 😢 didn't wanna get too obsessive with it straight away but should of known better 😩

@Elley2912 Sore boobs is a good sign from what I read! Mine are being their usual selves. Just the crazy mood swings.

@Katbaby I hope your cycle stabilises soon. Pill is notorious for throwing things out of sync.

Hey girls I'm so behind on this chat 😂 @Mc3209 sorry about for negative test :( how many days past ovulation are you? I've got bo symptoms only 5dpo though I'm going to start testing 10dpo I'm not feeling positive though I'm pretty sure will be negative I missed my main two days 😫 when is everyone else going to start testing? Xxx

@abby25 my app says 5DPO but if going by my ovulation tests then maybe only 4? I don't know why but I'm just not feeling positive for this month.

Ah think we are the same! Maybe we can test the same day 😂 I'm not due till the 28th I have on average 28-32 day cycles but I ovulated a bit early this month so might buy some cheapies and start testing on 10dpo which will be Thursday! I'm not feeling positive what so ever I know it's still early but just got a feeling I'm not going to be.... who knew trying for a baby would be such hard work 😂 xxx

Since having my coil out on Monday, I’ve been on my period... again (last one only finished on the 27th jan) so I’m not making much progress at all 😂 just need my body to start playing ball now!

@Elley2912 I've made this for our 5 month pup to wear! I got a BFP on FRER yesterday AM, PM and this morning. Waiting for the other brands to get stronger lines before I tell him!!!

@tfc90 that's amazing! Congratulations!! How are you feeling? I'm probably being stupid but what's FRER? I was actually looking online at those kind of things for our dog! It feels premature to be anything but I know I'll be annoyed if it happens and I'm not prepared!

@Elley2912 that was me exactly! I made it before I found out! I had my suspicions after what I decided was implantation bleeding on Wednesday so I rushed to get it done before he came home that night!!

I'm feeling like my stomach is churning. I'm sure it's too early for morning sickness when the internet cheapie tests are only showing squinters.

I'm just waiting for a bleed and chemical pregnancy, feels too good to be true!

FRER is a brand of test - First Response, Early Result. It can detect tiny levels of HCG, the best on the market!

Congrats @TFC90! Did you find that your first cycle was pretty normal did you dtd in first cycle to try or wait til second?

@Katbaby Thank you! I've been off the pill for 3 months now, first cycle we just DTD around the middle of the cycle, second cycle we did the same but I started charting BBT mid cycle and we went by the fertile days on the app. This third cycle, I started using OPK, just the internet cheapie ones and did them from CD6 until I got a strong line on CD16. According to my BBT app though, it thinks I ovulated CD19 🤷.

The only natural cycle I had was the middle month which had a 26 day cycle. Going by this AF was due Monday 10th Feb and I got the FRER BFP on CD 14. I only did internet cheapie tests before that and they were all negative. Trouble is I know the chances of chemical pregnancy diminish one week after your period due date but since I only had one cycle I don't know when that is!
