@SparrowSG thank you for the new thread.
Had a bit of a fright this morning. Woke up and everything was ok. After breakfast felt "wet". Went to the toilet and had blood on my underpants. It freaked me out! Called EPU instantly and they just kept saying to call GP as I need to be referred. I was getting mad at them as I never experienced it before. Anyway, they just told me to keep an eye on bleeding. I run to GP and they referred me. But I never had any other bleed all day, not pains, no cramps, nothing. The nurse said it was more likely implantation bleed. But to keep an eye and go to A&E it starts and progresses. I'm trying to stay calm. I'm around 6w2d. Haven't joined any pregnancy thread and would like to stay here if that's ok with you.

I'm 43, DD#1 is 2yrs old, conceived with IUI. Had failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs. 2 missed miscarriages from 1 IUI and 1 IVF. Had d&c for both miscarriages. Last MMC was this May. Decided on donor egg to start this cycle but got a surprising BFP, natural TTC. Currently 6w2d. Early scan next Monday.

Big welcome to new ladies. ThanksThanks

weediva · 22/07/2019 19:46

@Russkispy how scary for you! I bled a lot with my dd, was a constant worry but she's 8 now. Hope you are ok, take everything very easy and be kind to yourself x

KCM99 · 22/07/2019 20:03

@Russkispy that's so scary. So long as no pain a bit of blood is surprisingly common for healthy pregnancies. Hope this reassures you a little. (((Hugs)))) you'll be ok xx

Russkispy · 22/07/2019 20:16

@KCM99 and @weediva thank you! I'm crossing everything here! Will keep you posted!

MaryShelley1818 · 22/07/2019 20:24

Russkispy how scary ((hugs))
I had a bleed when pregnant with DS and spent a very scary few hrs in EPU but they never found any reason and it didn’t happen again. My friend bled every month until 20wks with both of her children.
Fingers crossed it will all be ok xx

KristieP2018 · 22/07/2019 20:59

Just marking my place in line:

KristieP2018/age 43/TTC#1 since June 2018

Very odd bleeding today. Minor cramps. Estrogen bleed? No sign of ovulation at all since April so can’t be period, bbt barely moving. It is bright pink and a light flow. I am lost lol

IrishintheDR · 22/07/2019 21:05

Hey everyone!

I am not long 42 and we have been trying for 2 years with no protection and I would say actually trying as in seeing doctors/tracking periods etc for just over a year. We found some issues with my hubbys sperm about 6 months ago - its not a great swimmer. I also have been having irregular cycles which doesn't help. We currently cannot afford IVF here in the DR as its very expensive so looking at more natural ways. I have started seeing a Natural Fertility consultant based in the UK about a month ago and also getting reflexology and acupuncture. So far she seems great and I have been learning lots but no bfp yet. Great to meet you all and its good to have some people to talk about things with. xx

Constance1234 · 22/07/2019 21:16

@Russkispy Hope you are ok, what a fright! I’m keeping everything crossed for you. I bled around 6 weeks with my son and was so scared. But all was fine x

IrishintheDR · 22/07/2019 21:21

IrishintheDR 42 TTC #1 2 years

Cleozeta · 22/07/2019 21:29

Russkispy · 22/07/2019 21:36

Thank you ladies, had a shower and it was tiny bit of brown discharge on my finger. The same if it was the last day of AF. Hopefully nothing happens after that. Will keep you posted.
Welcome to the new ladies.

Russkispy · 22/07/2019 22:36

Just been to the toilet and blood came out. I wiped and it's more of pink colour, I think. Fresh blood? So put the pad back on again. Feeling no pain or cramps or discomfort. See what the night brings. It's just never straight forward Sad

Chatbash72 · 22/07/2019 23:27

Ooh @Russkispy keeping fingers crossed it a cheeky bean bedding down. My friend had bleeding the whole way through and her bean is now 8 and my sis in law too and her bean is 5.. Don't panic bleeding can be just another part of the pregnancy process sending lots of love 💕💕💕

Samk79 · 23/07/2019 08:15

Hi everyone,

I have commented on the previous thread but can't seem to keep up!
I'm 40, have two children age 11 and 16 from my previous marriage.
I started ttc with my partner last year and fell pg in jan but unfortunately it ended in miscarriage which I had to have an Erpc for. We are getting married on Saturday so decided to leave ttc until after then.
Now to complicate things I have seen a 12 month secondment at work which would be a great opportunity for me. I feel so torn about whether to go for it or not as if I do I feel like ttc would have to be put on hold for a while as I would want to make the most of the job. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Catconfusion · 23/07/2019 08:20

Thanks for the new thread.

Both DH and I have just turned 40. We got a surprise bfp after our honeymoon in December last year before we were actively trying. Sadly a mmc at 12 weeks with ERPC in Feb. Then a CP straight after that. The next cycle I had a very late ovulation on the day of DHs SA so we hadn't dtd close to it and had no luck. Then an anovulatory cycle. This cycle is possibly heading the same way as day 32 and no O yet.

We're awaiting a fertility appointment because the two back to back losses and all the stress associated seems to have flared up my pcos which is generally mild so I'm hoping to try Clomid. I was ovulating before we had mcs as I tracked for three months before trying.

It feels like quite the rollercoaster so far but we've only really been actively trying for four months after our losses so I'm hoping my body feels fully recovered soon as it doesn't feel like we've had a decent shot at it yet.

I just wanted to say @Russkispy my thoughts are with you today and I really hope the bleeding stops and nothing to worry about. xx
