Hi all,
New to this board ☺️
I’m 32 and myself and DH are trying for number 2 (we have an almost 3YO DD). We just had a chemical pregnancy - AF was due May 18th, already faint pregnancy test lines got fainter on May 19th and disappeared completely on 20th. Started bleeding May 20th and now on a very heavy AF.

We are emotionally ready to just got for it again, my question is have any of you positive experience of getting right after an early Chemical pregnancy and if so did you find you ovulated earlier/later.

For example, I ovulate exactly 14 days after my period starts. As my period was technically 3 days late, do I assume I will just ovulate 14 days after this bleed started? Or do I count 14 days after period was actually due?

Anyone who has just been through the same that wants to join me on this journey please do! X

@Abi58 because I’m ridiculously impatient I just did another one...this came up within say two mins?

@LittleRedSocks ahhh I see it!!!! Tentative congratulations so so excited for you!!! 💕💕💕

Abi58 · 16/07/2019 17:52

@LittleRedSocks is it pink in real life? I think I can see a bit of pink 😍

LittleRedSocks · 16/07/2019 17:57

Yes pink in real life though has faded a little over the last hour?! Still there just more squinty 🤨 Will year again tomorrow, just so afraid to get hopes up...for the third time in as many months! My only real symptom is I’m bloody knackered! Other than that boobs don’t really even hurt! Xx

MountAbora · 16/07/2019 18:21

@littleredsocks I can definitely see that line! Congratulations! I think it’s ok if it fades after the time as long as it’s pink within the time frame x

satsumasaturday · 16/07/2019 19:11

I can see it!!! Hooray @LittleRedSocks 😊😊

I'm still spotting 🙈🙈 I called the maternity triage number for our area just to confirm what I knew they'd say: blood is fine, probably implantation, there's nothing you can do even if it is bad news. I haven't poas since last week when I got my 3+ clear blue and my frer was so dark it was pulling the dye from the control line, so my hgc definitely got higher than last month. I guess I'll just have to wait it out 😭

Abi58 · 16/07/2019 20:21

@LittleRedSocks 🤞🏻 for tomorrow let us know 💕

@satsumasaturday I understand why they say that and they probably have limited resources but to someone who is newly pregnant hormonal and worried it's just downright mean to be like that 🙁
🤞🏻 for you make sure you take care of yourself, spotting/bleeding can be fine as well so try not to worry (I know that's easier to say than to do) 💕

Just a little story of my evening to make you giggle, I went for my scan, saw an embryo and a heartbeat, so so so happy, came home threw up my strawberry yoghurt I'd manage to stomach and in the process with my body clenching actually pissed myself 🙈😭😂
My poor husband didn't know what was going on. 😂

MummyMilla · 16/07/2019 20:52

@LittleRedSocks so blinking excited for you! Hooray!

@Abi58 that's hilarious, ha! But YAY to the heartbeat and embryo.

@satsumasaturday so sorry to hear you're still spotting. I will keep everything crossed that it stops soon as I cannot imagine what the worry must be like :-(

I am now trying to decide whether to test tomorrow am if no AF, or wait it out until Thursday am? DH is staying in London tomorrow pm, so wouldn't be here if I tested on Thursday. But I only have a clearblue test (to stop any temptation to test early!) and I don't know if I need to wait for a missed AF for that one?

MummyMilla · 16/07/2019 20:58

Meant to add that I have had some odd pulling feelings on one side. Not quite cramps (as not uncomfortable) but something going on. Is making me worried that it's AF :-\

LittleRedSocks · 16/07/2019 21:03

Thanks so much everyone though honest to god, really really not letting myself believe it’s true until I get a strong line because I've been disappointed too many times.

@satsumasaturday you poor thing, it’s such a shitty position to be in but I’m certain it will all be fine if it’s spotting as opposed to period type bleed. Just hang on in there, I’m so sorry you’re going through this
@Abi58 so delighted for you that you got to see a wee heartbeat, how wonderful!!! Love the peeing yourself story though haha!
@MountAbora that’s what I’m hoping! It’s so faded now. Still visible if I squint but I need to just read again in morning and see what it’s like - I’ve resisted the urge to test again this evening!
@Mummymilla, it’s a tricky one! So from my experience, CB tests are not as sensitive so even though you may be pregnant, it might be too early to ‘waste’ it?! But then you know what, you never know and if it’s negative, it doesn’t mean ur out and if it’s positive, you can celebrate with you hubby before he goes away! Xxx

LittleRedSocks · 16/07/2019 21:06

@MummyMilla I think they usually say pulling feelings are positive when ttc...fingers crossed it is! X

MountAbora · 16/07/2019 21:32

@Abi58 aha that’s hilarious!! But poor you at the same time ! So so great that you got to see a little heartbeat. Makes it even more real now 😊
@satsumasaturday sorry that you’re having such a hard time of it. Hopefully you won’t have to wait it out for long & it will stop soon. Our bodies can be really cruel. Really good sign you were getting such strong positives tho.
@LittleRedSocks your morning pee will be so much stronger. Altho I the need to test is real and I totally get that!! But you have a line, which is really great news.
@MummyMilla that is a tricky one. Is your AF due Thurs? Might be better to wait as the blue lines are harder to read. I know it’s really hard tho.

I’m in a similar conundrum as was going to test tomorrow if no AF but my app says Im due Thurs. DP thinks I should wait until it’s late, so Fri, it will be less upsetting than getting a maybe line & then AF. I get what he means but it will be soooo tempting to test tomorrow if AF isn’t here Confused I still think it’s coming tho as my boobs are less sore today & I feel quite wet down below (sorry tmi!)

MummyMilla · 16/07/2019 21:37

@mountabora AF is due tomorrow.

I get was your DH means about saving disappointment. I think that's why I almost want to wait and see if AF arrives. But I guess if I get a -ve then I can start to regulate my hopes (which have basically been up since my boobs went 10 days ago!). Gahhhh x

MummyMilla · 17/07/2019 07:22

Clearblue saying a bit fat negative 🙁

Weirdly boobs feeling less big and sensitive today, so maybe af is coming.

Gutted

LittleRedSocks · 17/07/2019 07:29

This mornings line barely visible 😢 doesn’t even show in a photo. I might take one again this afternoon as that’s traditionally when I seem to get my strongest lines xx

OP posts:
LittleRedSocks · 17/07/2019 07:30

@satsumasaturday how are you doing today? @MummyMilla what have you decided about testing? Xxx

OP posts:
LittleRedSocks · 17/07/2019 07:31

Oh cross post! Honestly don’t give up hope - the CB ones are notorious for not showing till much later! Xxx

OP posts:
MountAbora · 17/07/2019 08:00

Sorry to hear that @LittleRedSocks & @MummyMilla but hopefully this afternoon will bring a better line LittleRedSocks and try again in a couple of days with a pink line test if no AF MummyMilla! Fingers crossed for you both.
Also the lack of soreness of your boobs may not mean your out @MummyMilla. I’m hoping this is the case as my boobs were not very sore yesterday but are back again today being very sensitive.
How are you guys doing @satsumasaturday
@Abi58 @LarryDavid?

I managed to resist testing this morning. Planning to test Fri if no AF as then il be at least a day late but may cave tomorrow !!

Birchwoods · 17/07/2019 09:43

Hi everyone, please can I join?

Had a v faint BFP on Friday (FRER), around 9 dpo but have had brown spotting since Sunday, with some red the past three days. I've got that heavy crampy need a poo feeling you get when you're about to come on so I suspect it's going to be a CP, I just hate this period of limbo. AF was due Mon or yesterday. Still getting positive tests, I'll attach photos if I can. But just feel like it's doomed because of the bleeding and mild cramps.

I had a MMC at the end of March at nearly 11 weeks (baby died at 9 weeks) and the only indication I had of anything being amiss was the tiniest bit of brown spotting.

I feel a bit panicky about it all as my daughter will be four in August and I feel so guilty about the age gap.

Birchwoods · 17/07/2019 09:45

First pic, top to bottom is Friday 12th, Sat and Mon.
Second pic is last night and this morning with FRER.

AF arrived (a day early) xxx

LittleRedSocks · 17/07/2019 13:48

Oh @Birchwoods, welcome - though I’m sorry you find yourself here. What a limbo, it’s the worst place. If your tests are getting progressively stronger though I’d say that’s still a good sign? I’m so sorry about your MMC xxx

Birchwoods · 17/07/2019 14:02

Sorry to hear that @LittleRedSocks. Start afresh this month. Are you okay?

I'm just convinced it's a non-starter for me. I keep starting to get my hopes up when I've had no spotting for a while and then I get more and I'm back to feeling hopeless.

Larrydavid · 17/07/2019 15:52

@LittleRedSocks sorry about AF :( that sucks. Fingers crossed it's better news next cycle.

@MountAbora I'm good thanks! Just back from holiday and trying to do all my work before tomorrow when I'm away again for a couple of days! How are you? Keep us posted on your testing! Have everything crossed for you!!

@Birchwoods don't feel guilty about the age gap! Big brothers and sisters are much nicer to their little siblings! Sorry to hear about your Mc. Those tests are looking good though! FX

satsumasaturday · 17/07/2019 16:10

Hi ladies I'm struggling to keep up as I'm having a mega busy week - although it is taking my mind off things a bit I guess. @LittleRedSocks so sorry to here af arrived, I hope you're ok 💐
welcome back from your hols @Larrydavid- did you have a nice relaxing time?

@Birchwoods sorry for what you're going through right now, don't worry about the age gap though - I'm a big sister and I remember absolutely loving being able to "help" Mum and dad when my little brother was born.
You are doing very well to have resisted testing still @MountAbora!

My spotting continues 😏 I think it might be a bit lighter than yesterday, maybe. But work is keeping me distracted. I'm not sure what to do - I'm sort of just trying to hope it goes away. I guess I could buy some more tests for reassurance, but then if they're going to show my hgc is dropping so I want to know?, or continue to carry on being pregnant for a couple more days even if it doesn't work out? Anyway back to work, sorry if I missed things I'll try to catch up properly later x
