Boosey we can be the lurkers together!!!! :) x

BooseysMom · 28/04/2019 22:07

Thanks Cleo ..and glad I'm not alone in my lurking Weasle!

I still have regular AF so who knows, but have to be realistic at my age. I still think I can be of help to those trying as I had my beloved DS at 41. So like to think I'm not on the scrap heap just yet!!

Cleozeta · 30/04/2019 19:09

Done with this cycle. Ready to start the next one, but feeling down about the whole thing now. It's never going to happen. 42 with shit AMH, shit FSH, it's the end of the line. Why does nature have to cut us off so early Sad

BooseysMom · 30/04/2019 19:14

Hi Cleo. I noticed it was very quiet on the thread lately. Sorry you're feeling low. It's so unfair. I'm already on the Menopause thread now as I seem to be getting more and more symptoms of peri. The worse thing atm is dry itchy skin, night sweats and horrific mood swings. I even told DH I never loved him! He is so patient with me .I don't deserve him. It's like I'm a completely different person.. then I'm suddenly ok again. Do you get any of this crap? You must be too young at 42. I can't believe it's the end of the road for you. But yeah it gets you down with no sniff of a bfp cycle after cycle..
Sending you hugs and support x

KristieP2018 · 30/04/2019 19:53

Hugs @cleozeta and @booseysmom you know I’m always going to be lurking Smile

BooseysMom · 30/04/2019 21:17

@KristieP2018.. lol.Grin.. So many of us have left now, alot just disappearing. I wonder if they got their bfps in the end

Cleozeta · 30/04/2019 21:19

Boosey - sorry things are bad for you too. That sounds rubbish. Nature is a proper shit stain at times.
Thankfully not getting too many of those symptoms currently (touch wood) but I have had passing phases of it over the last few years.
I'm just not ready for that crap

littlemimosa · 30/04/2019 22:34

Cleo - me either. I’m so upset by the idea of menopause. Mainly for obvious baby related reasons but also because it spells ‘over the hill’ to me. How sad is that. Blood test tomorrow and hopefully scan referral soon. Still no af but I’m frozen into a 5 week long luteal phase. I’ve got sore boobs and bloating but thankfully no hot flashes. It’s just weird.

Booseys - sorry to hear you are getting some symptoms. I feel your pain. I hope you are ok emotionally and dealing with everything. Definitely stick around. We’d miss you so much!

Cleozeta · 30/04/2019 22:51

I am the same mimosa. Both reasons, means no more babies, and also that distinct symbolism of 'past it'. It's more than just no periods, a woman changes after menopause, it changes everything, it's a different part of society. I'm not ready for that.
Thinking of going for hardcore IVF

Chatbash72 · 30/04/2019 23:01

I'm still here ladies, just been crazy busy hubby has a job after 3 years running his own business, ups and downs financially and stressful. But with all the political fun and games have kinda knocked it into a go slow... business industry uncertainty
So have been working like a made thing as we will have 2 weeks till pay day and then the month with nothing.. I get paid weekly so will he pulling some long weekend shifts!! Luckily I have been working at a fab place and am going to miss the reduced hours.. but that's the way it goes and did think oh if I am preg this month can I hold down the vomit and keep going for 6 weeks... however back in reality 😱 my app says due in 6 days but more likely 4 days as full moon in 4.. we are away with whole family so timing will be fab and this time last year mood swings were so bad thought I was preg... I don't usually have preg symptoms till vomiting kicks in, but do find that am very hormonal...
I'm not going anywhere, you're stuck with me, am 46 regular as clockwork and no peri symptoms as of yet 🤞🤞🤞 still dtd throughout the month to catch the early egg.. have given a few baby bits away and some toys.. find it's quite therapeutic... if I've got rid of a lot Sod's law will mean that I get a bfp... that's my theory and I'm sticking with it..🤣
Lots of baby dust to all xx

BooseysMom · 01/05/2019 05:47

Boosey - sorry things are bad for you too. That sounds rubbish. Nature is a proper shit stain at times. ..
Lol Cleo! And thank you. The thing is I've had 30 years to get my shit together and have children and I've only managed one! Yes you're so right.. that feeling when the menopause hits is so life-changing and more than just your periods ending. And the thing is what's so unfair is I'm ready now for another baby but my body is saying oh no you're not!! Sad

Booseys - sorry to hear you are getting some symptoms. I feel your pain. I hope you are ok emotionally and dealing with everything. Definitely stick around. We’d miss you so much!
littlemimosa..Ah bless you..that's lovely. Smile. I'm always so touched by the support on here and that's why I hang around. So thank you x

Chat.. very happy to be stuck with you too! Grin I forget you're only a year younger than me. I got rid of my baby clothes and toys then had a crisis and actually went on eBay and bought one of the special toys back again..how sad is that?! Gotta be a mid life crisis!.. But yeah it would be sod's law to get preg now and have to re buy it all!

Just keep in mind the lady who was 47 and suddenly found out she was preg when she hadn't had AF for a year! She was very advanced and went on to have a beautiful baby boy..no problems whatsoever! Just imagine that ladies..to not even know for so long then ...Wham!! There you go..you're a mum again at 47!! Shock
So yes, baby dust liberally scattered here for us all! xx

Chatbash72 · 01/05/2019 05:50

Day 26!!! Pink smear... 4 days early is v v unusual for me, however feeling very nauseous with it... not getting hopes up.. but on olus side af before weekend would be good..

BooseysMom · 01/05/2019 05:58

Omg Chat! Fingers crossed..thinking of you x ..that baby dust is def wafting your way Smile I'm at the point where I dare not count the days too earnestly but saying that I do note on the calendar when last AF was and it's due this weekend although was 4 days early last month. Like you I get very hormonal but I don't get vomiting, just nausea. DH's family thought I was preg last time I saw them as I couldn't eat anything and felt awful but I think it was Peri.

Russkispy · 01/05/2019 10:35

Bad news for us today. Had our second scan and it showed no heartbeat. All stopped a day after our first early scan at 7w3d. Absolutely devastated. Having a surgical procedure to remove it all tomorrow morning. We both cried out eyes out. And now just getting loads of cuddles from our little DD who seems more and more precious in these shitty situations like this. It reminds me how lucky we were a couple of years ago and fell pregnant first time with IUI. She's so special I can't describe it.

SparrowSG · 01/05/2019 10:56

Oh Russkispy I am so so sorry to hear this news, it is truly heartbreaking. Sending you lots of virtual hugs Flowers

weasledee · 01/05/2019 11:27

Oh no russkispy, I'm so very sorry :(

Megan2018 · 01/05/2019 11:46

@Russkispy So very sorry to hear this, how desperately unfair life is Sad. I’m glad you both have your DD to get you through.

KristieP2018 · 01/05/2019 11:47

I am so so sorry @russkispy. My heart is breaking for you Flowers xx

Hobbes39 · 01/05/2019 11:59
