Any 20s TTC first baby? :)

I've just turned 24 and me and husband have just started TTC first baby. Thought that it would be good to have a thread going with a few people in a similar situation! Very few of my friends are in the same situation as we got married early and now thinking of babies whilst lots of friends are still at uni :)

Anyone one to join a group discussion with how things are going?

AF due today, tested this morning and bfn 🥺

We've been trying again this week and according to clue which has been quite accurate for me I'm just coming into FW so will keep it up for the next week or so! 👍😄

Im on cycle 2 cd20 and still not ovulated yet. Tested and been tracking bbt every day but nothing positive as of yet. Making me think this will be a long cycle like last time. 39 days for cycle 1 so hoping it will come soon and trying not to get frustrated!

Got a positve LH test yesterday for the first time on CD22 and im cramping loads this morning although my tempratures not spiked so I think ovulation will be tomorrow. Then comes the dreaded wait... Weve DTD every day for the last week and ill make sure we do today too just to make sure. Fingers crossed!!!

Was five days over this month and then AF turned up. Gutted.
Cycle 4 hopefully will be luckier

@lovesT Thank you :) It's nice to know that there are people in a similar boat. We wanted ttc now in case it were to take a while. I'm still waiting for af though and have had a few very faint lines but nothing 100% positive. A bit confused by that at the minute.

My fiancé is 28 going on 29. We're very excited/nervous at the same time!

Thank you! Is anyone else feeling like trying to conceive is driving them crazy?! It’s all I can think about. Currently on AF waiting to ovulate fingers crossed after 7 Years on the mini pill. What contraception have you been on before hand and did your periods/ovulation return? X

@amiejb25 yes I feel the exact same!! And it's hard at work now I'm trying because it feels more important ! I was on the normal pill microgonen I think it's called for 10 years and I seemed to go back to "normal' pretty quickly although my periods these days are shorter and less dramatic than I remember from being 16 😂

Is anyone not taking any supplements or testing for ovulation? X

I was on Cerelle (Mini pill) but missed quite a few and we decided just to stop it. That was 4 weeks ago and I've not had af 🤦‍♀️ very odd as I would generally have a withdrawal bleed after missing just one.

I'm trying to be chill about the situation as much as possible. Have done a few tests with very faint lines but don't want to get my hopes up 🤦‍♀️😂

Hi ladies 😊 I'm 27, DH and I got married in October last year. We are going to TTC very soon, I'm so excited! We are going on our belated honeymoon in 3 months, so just trying to decide when to stop taking my pill! Making me nervous seeing how long it has taken other people's cycles to return to normal! However I don't want to end up pregnant before our honeymoon 🙈 I'm just so glad that the time has finally come that We are in a position to try!

Hi ladies just a wee update I have to go for blood tests on Monday doctor was nice said I have to go for laparoscopy and dye test to check what’s going on as I have had pelvic pain recently and no AF since January. I have had laparoscopy before when checking for endometriosis but I am nervous.

Not this month for me apparently! AF seems so much more annoying when you really don't want it to come .. oh well! It's only technically month 2 for me so I shouldn't be too disappointed. I feel like hormones are making me a bit miserable ☹️

@Pinksunset1 hoping that you get some results from these tests! I know it's always scary with that kind of thing but at least it's being investigated 😊

@lovesT that's a shame, yes it definitely does feeling more annoying! 😡 but cycle 2 is so early, still got plenty of times for that BFP 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I'm 4 dpo at the mo, so I'm hoping the next week goes quick!

Still no sign of AF for me 🙄 have had a very weird taste of metal/2p coins in my mouth for the past few days. Don't want to read into things too much though. Still no idea when/if I've ovulated... not trusting cheap test strips as they all come up with lines even when frers show nothing. I'm in limbo! 😂
