Any 20s TTC first baby? :)

Hello!

I've just turned 24 and me and husband have just started TTC first baby. Thought that it would be good to have a thread going with a few people in a similar situation! Very few of my friends are in the same situation as we got married early and now thinking of babies whilst lots of friends are still at uni :)

Anyone one to join a group discussion with how things are going?

26 and just came off the pill to ttc, funny how you try so hard not to get pregnant but when the time comes to ttc it can take ages.

@L0205 wow so exciting, congratulations! We have our scan at the end of this month and I'm still unsure whether to find out! Husband really wants to so he might and I might see if I can avoid it for a while 😄

@L0205 wow! Congratulations! 💕💕💕 I’ve got 11 days to go until we find out, I reckon I’m having a girl to as heart rate is around 145 and although some say that it’s a myth if the heart rate is over 140 it’s a girl seems to ring true with all my friends and family in there pregnancies!

@lovesT how exciting!!! Well even if you don't find out at least you get to see your lil bubba again! Can I ask how come you don't wanna find out? Just curious as I wanted to know so bad I was so impatient lol

@JadeSB that's soon!!! Did you say you wanted a girl? And are you gonna have a gender reveal ? I had my scan on Friday and my gender reveal on Saturday lol I just couldn't wait!

24 and ttc number 2! 25 next month, was 23 when we had ds :) xxx

@L0205 no I’m not fussed on the gender, and no I’m quite shy so I’m not bothering with a gender reveal! Don’t want all the fuss

@L0205 yes can't wait to see Little! (As my mil has been calling him/her) 😄 my husband has decided he really wants to know so he will be finding out even if I don't! There is a big part of me that would like to, and I still might .. but before I got pregnant I always thought I'd want to keep it a surprise! I can't explain why, just never thought I'd want to know 😊 but now they're real and I can feel them, it would be lovely! Also we have 0 boys names, so a girl would be great 😄

I also can't remember if I said but I did get to hear the heartbeat at 16 wk appt 😊 also feeling stronger kicks! Have you been feeling much?

@JadeSB ohh Yh I didn't want a gender reveal either but my boyfriend rly wants one so we ended up doing but this will deffo be the last one! Next time I'll want to know the gender and just keep it secret from everyone I think haha

@lovesT oh nice so you have some girl names in mind!! We haven't decided on a name yet but we have a little over 3 months to make a decision, but I have a feeling my bf wants us to sit until she's born to see which name suits her best.
I felt my baby's heart beat at 8 weeks pregnant when I had my private scan, then again at 12 weeks, 16 weeks and at my last scan last week. She's quite low and right up against my bump so the sonographer said it was easy to find the heart beat. I think I felt her move for the first time at 12 weeks but it was just flutters and now she just kicks punches and turns and I feel every single little movement, she's a very active baby constantly moving even during the scans! It's odd because her dad and I are both quite chilled and lazy LOL but we think she's gonna be like her aunty (my sister) because she just won't stop! She's also head down quite a lot haha I always say she's getting ready to come out looool.
But her being so low does cause me really bad backaches and pressure specially when I walk or love around arg it's so horrible so k try to sit down as much as possible during the day.
Have you felt any pressure down below yet or any other second trimester aches?

Can I join please! I’m 26 and my husband is turning 29 next month! This is our second month of trying! Really hope we get our BFP by the end of this year!

I was so wound up about it last month, and was very upset when we got our BFN ( i know it’s really silly as it was only our first month, but 2 of our friends got pregnant the first month so it made it even worse for me!!) .. my husband also works away during the week so it’s not always that easy for us to try!

So this month, my DH bought me a puppy (Bless him) to help me ‘relax’ a bit more so I don’t over think it all the time!!! Fingers crossed!!

Hopefully you all get your BFP soon!!!

@JadeSB I'm glad you posted, would be great to see how everyone is doing 😊 how many weeks are you now? In 26 weeks tomorrow and the weeks are flying by ... bump is definitely there now. I'm on a group called BFP - anyone else due Feb 2020? It's a good group of you wanted to join in 😊 hope you're doing well?

@lovesT I was 27 weeks on Wednesday, due feb 5th, most definitely got a bump, I feel massive!

@JM0934 welcome and good luck! It could take a while but don't feel discouraged, we are all different!

@JadeSB I'm now 30+4 so I'll be 31 weeks pregnant on Friday.
We went for our 4D scan and got to see our baby girls face - she's SO cute and looks like her daddy (he's over the moon and says she'll be a daddy's girl haha). Do you know what you're having now?

@lovesT how are you getting on?? And what are you having? I'm due Jan 24th but we think she's gonna come a bit early cos she's so so low and doesn't stop moving so I am predicting a week early lol but we will see!!

@L0205 yes, after being adamant I was having a girl, he turned out to be a boy!🤭😂 oh you’re due just before me! That due date is coming around so quick! Yeah my little man wriggles none stop!

@L0205 I'm doing well thanks! We're having a girl 😊💕 I'll be 28 weeks this week, due 14th Feb. It's going so quickly! She's moving soo much as well. Glad you're doing well 😊 are you feeling okay?

Hey girls 😊 Sorry to jump in! Just wanting a second opinion on this test.. im only about 7dpo (so aware it's very very early, but it's so hard to wait! Lol) and it showed up like this. This is with FMU, and is after about 5 minutes. When I went back to it another 5 mins later, it was totally blank. I then did another test and showed absolutely nothing. It's not a definite line but looks like something - has anyone ever had this? Not getting my hopes up, just wondered if anyone else had a sort of blurry line as well 😊

@PurpleRain25, that’s a hard one to call as it was after the 5 minutes and then went blank, I’d vote it’s a negative, because in my experience no matter how faint the positive is, it doesn’t disappear, even on the cheap strips, all you can do is try again in the morning I suppose 🤞🏼

@JadeSB thank you for replying 😊 I reckon you're probably right! As you say, all I can do is wait and test again. 🤞

@PurpleRain25 this is the positive I got at 8dpo, it is super faint, but stayed there, like you I wasn’t sure, so waited until the next morning and done a clearblue digital with my FMU and it come up straight away Pregnant 1-2weeks, let us know how you get on x

@JadeSB I've ordered some FR tests off Amazon which are to arrive tomorrow, so that'll hopefully make things a bit clearer either way! It's all this waiting that is just torture lol
