In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

@Nedsxx I'm ok. My test results should be back by Friday at the latest. My DH has been in for his tests but they take up to 3 weeks to come back so we're just playing the waiting game.
My AF is due any day now, having my usual pre-AF symptoms so not feeling hopeful for this month.

Hi all,

Went crazy yesterday with the line eyes and kept thinking I could see the faintest line.

Woke up today and this happened . I'm absolutely over the moon, but also a little worried, as I am having some on /off very light bleeding which is quite red in colour. I 14 days dpo (I think) so a tad worried it's not implantation but potentially a chemical pregnancy. I will have to watch and wait.

@Goodyear2019 That's so frustrating that it can take so long to come back. Thinking about you and really hoping they can get to the bottom of it and help! Fingers crossed and baby dust.

I might need someone to give me a reality check, think I'm stupidly getting my hopes up.... So I have two apps, one said AF was due yesterday, the other says tomorrow (I think tomorrow is more likely based on previous cycles) I've had most of my usual pre-AF symptoms e.g. bloating, sore belly but not cramps, sore breasts. However, my main pre-AF symptom is light spotting for a few days beforehand, but this week I've had nothing!! I'm so scared to get my hopes up that this might be my month but so desperate to get a bfp!
Anyone else had this? Should I do a test and how soon can I do one? I've never gotten as far as doing a test before so not sure what to do for the best. aghhhh it's so stressful!!

@Goodyear2019 I would do a test today. Hold your urine for 3/4 hours and do one. It'll put your mind at ease. When I got my BFP all of my usual pre-AF symptoms were there but I had a new one which was a lower back ache. Never had that before which is why I tested. If something is slightly different it could mean there is a change, but I would test just to be sure.

@Nedsxx I don't think I can hold it for 3/4 hours haha! Should I get one of those early detection tests? Maybe I'll have to wait it do it first thing tomorrow, I honestly don't think I can go 3/4 hours without going! I don't have any 'new/different' symptoms as such, its mostly the lack of spotting that's making me think twice!

@Goodyear2019 Yes I would definitely get a FRER, pink dye test!! I had false positive with the blue dye tests! I did my first few tests on about an hour or 2 hold and it came up positive but so faint I had to double check.

@Nedsxx ok thanks, I don't have any tests at home so will need to go to a shop later and I'll just try to hold it for as long as possible!

Still no sign of spotting/AF last night so got a Clear Blue early detection test (only one the pharmacy had) and did it with FMU this morning and got a BFN. I'm so upset, I'd convinced myself this was my month, it's the only time I've thought there was a chance. Still no sign of spotting or AF this morning so really dont know what's going on.

@Goodyear2019 Clearblue for me didn't detect as early... Where do you live? I have a load of cheap ebay tests left if you're close to me I don't mind dropping them somewhere!

Thank you @Nedsxx that's really kind but dont worry, I'm in north west Scotland so prob miles away Haha! What are the tests called, I can look online for them? I'm going to give it a few more days and if AF still hadn't arrived I'll test again.

My first couple of tests came up so faint they were squinters, but got darker over the coming days!

This was my first test!

Thanks very much I'll maybe order them now and then that way if AF still hasn't arrived by the time the tests have then I can try them out.
