Hi All,

In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

I'm 26 and ttc 1 cycle one currently 11 dpo took a test yesterday it was a bfn but trying not to be too disappointed as until af shows up it's not over

@Goodyear I am not good at waiting either so I hear you. Hopefully the time will fly in, is there a long wait for the results?

Oh stop I know!! Head wrecking!! Well you said it, it only takes one!! Last night after DTD he reckoned the "shot" on Friday had did it, after not DTD since the previous Sunday I wouldn't be too sure but we can live in hope!!

Hello everyone, me and my Fiance are both in our early 20's and we have been trying to conceive for the past 4 months. I have been tracking my ovulation and using tests but we have still not conceived. I'm 7dpo and took a test this morning and it was negative. Any advice?

Hi @mrssunshinexxx and @Glittergirl23 welcome :). @mrssunshinexxx you're definitely not out until AF shows up so don't lose the faith yet! @Glittergirl23 7dpo is very early to be testing!! Wait until day before AF is due!

@goodyear2019 wishing you lots of luck and babydust! As you say it does take one time but at least you have the ball rolling for the tests! I’m so bad at waiting too - I swear time slows up when you are waiting for something!

@Glittergirl23 it might be too early. Try to hold out until near AF - the waiting is hard isnt it!

I caved and tested this morning bfn and af due tomorrow so think that's me out :(

Thanks everyone. Once I get my test done I think I should get the results within a week. My DH isn't getting his tests done until week after next, but think there's a longer wait for those results, up to 3 weeks. By the time we get all those back we'll have had another cycle so will just need to keep trying! I'm in my fertile week now so hoping that we might not need those tests after all lol!

I feel rubbish to day, sleeping so badly and then all of a sudden I am really tired, cold etc. Not good, I would love to go home and cuddle up in bed!!

@als2912 The 8th is my birthday, the big 3-0!! So AF arriving the next day will be a sick b-day present if she comes, and a lovely one if she doesn't!!

Af was due yesterday and no sign yet all I can do it wait but I am at a wedding on sat ao think I annoyingly I will test on sat morning even though I wanted to just leave it

@mrssunshinexxx that's sounding very promising :-) If AF was due yesterday then I'm assuming a test on Saturday morning will be pretty accurate? (I've never gotten as far as doing a test so don't really know much about them!) Good luck!

@mrssunshinexxx Hoping so much that AF doesn't show her face! Do you have any symptoms of AF? If AF is due, you should be ok to test any day!

@Nedsxx all ok thank you! feeling like I might be getting a bit of a cold which is rubbish! been trying not to think about anything in too much depth this cycle, I haven't done OPK's and I've tried not to symptom spot as I was ticking everything going on my app before 😂

@ImMeantToBeWorking woohoo big birthday! happy birthday for then if I'm rubbish and forget to say it on the day! I really hope you get the best "positive" present 🤞🏼

@mrssunshinexxx sending baby dust your way. No AF symptoms is a great sign. There is not a hope I could wait until Saturday to test, serial tester over here.

@Nedsxx going for dinner with some family and friend. My mam and grandmother demanded it (I am the oldest child and grandchild) as did my godmother. I have a close friends wedding the following week so nothing too mad hopefully!! I wanted to do nothing but when my mam rang and said "there is a hotel xzy in your town that I was going to book us in too" I realised that she wasn't taking no for an answer, and as the place she was looking at is a dive (but the only one around for miles) I said I better give in and go up to them (I live about 2 hours away from home now).

Thanks so much I just feel like I'm definitely out this month I don't have any symptoms and I tested at 12dpo and it was such a strong negative I feel on a downer if i end up pregnant this month I feel like it will be a miracle

@ImMeantToBeWorking I came off in April so this is my first period after 12 years on the pill and it's come bang on time so I suppose that is a really good thing.
