In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

I am currently awaiting AF to appear... Not hopeful as experiencing tummy pains and don't want to get my hopes up again only for them to be shattered by AF...!

On day 34 which is not unusual for me. Since coming off the pill in August last year my cycles have been so varied, has anyone else found that?

@Hoping Italy is one of my favourite places. The cruise I was on stopped in three different Italian ports so I made the most of it. 😍 Enjoy every min of it.

AF arrived today. I know I said I wasn't trying for the last two months due to holidays, but it is still shattering when she arrives. Fingers crossed for next month. Back to temping this month, at least it might give me an idea of when I am ovulating and if either of the apps I use are right. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Tchelsea amazing! Thank you. I took my last pill on March 28th. Then had a withdrawal bleed 5th-8th April and my first period on May 1st to 5th. I am doing my first months of OPKs. Do you have any advice?

@Meenabeena ahhhh amazing! We are in this together. We haven't told anyone we are trying yet as we don't want to add any more pressure so it's so nice to have someone to talk to on here. How long have you been trying for?

@dolryo5 We started trying in January so this we'll be cycle 5. I started to use digital ovulation sticks last cycle but before that we was just DTD when we could and hoped for the best. Started using Pregnacare tablets this month so fingers crossed :)

Hi @dolryo5 welcome! TTC be so stressful so this is definitely the right place if you just want to talk about it. We've only told a few people we are trying.

Hi @dolryo5 😊 yes as @Goodyear2019 says TTC can be very stressful but it's great having other people to talk to about it on here especially when everyone is so lovely. We haven't told anyone either yet just to keep the pressure off and to get away from the constant questions of has it not happened yet? I hate that! 🙈

AF has just finished for me yesterday and as much as I hate it I think it was the most normal AF I've had since coming off my pill in December! 27 day cycle (been having 30-32 day cycles) and only 4 days of AF which I was happy about!

Hoping that this month will end in a positive for us 🤞🏼

@dolryo5 Sex! Lots of it haha Try and do it today and the next 2 days. Or today, tomorrow, miss a day and then once more for luck :D

@als2912 that's great that you've had a 'normal' cycle, sounds like things are going in the right direction! Lots and lots of luck for this month :-)
@dolryo5 what Meena said, lots of DTD. We usually try the night I get the smiley face and the next two nights if possible. I take folic acid and iron tablets and use pre-seed. Lots of luck!

@ALS, I was only saying to my DP that this AF is the most like the ones I had pre pill. Since i came off the pill my AF were still light and short, I went on the pill due to heavy AF and feck me she is back this month. AND THE CRAMPS. I was dizzy in pain the last few day, hopefully its a sign the pill is well and truely out of our system.

One of my friends knows we are trying and that's it, but she isn't the type to keep asking if it has happened yet. And the only reason she knows is because I was slagging that if she didn't hurry up and set a date to be married (she is engaged over a year and no date set) that I could not guarantee that I would not be preggers at her wedding.

@ImMeantToBeWorking Sorry to hear you've had such bad cramps, but like you say hopefully it means the effects of the pill are all gone and this is your natural cycle.
I feel like I'm wishing my life away waiting for my TWW to finish, feels like it's lasting for ages this time! AF not due until Sunday or maybe Monday :-(

I know the feeling, wishing life away until ov and then wishing it away for the TWW. I have my fingers and toes crossed that it is your month this month!!

@ImMeantToBeWorking yeah that's what I was hoping too! I was the same, the main reason I first went on the pill was for heavy AF and bad cramps and then once I stopped it for TTC it came back with a vengeance and was heavy and lasted for ages but I'm hoping after this time that it's back to normal!

Think I'm out again for this month :-( Have had some spotting this morning. I'm on cycle day 23 and expecting AF to arrive on Sunday or Monday. Normally I have 2 days of spotting prior to AF, but I've had 4 days the last two cycles so seems this is in line with my normal cycle.

@Als mine didn't come back with a vengeance until this month. I have the hot water bottle in work with me and everything!! Hopefully this is everyones month is right!!

@Goodyear hopefully it is just some spotting and not AF! Keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP soon for you.
