Hi All,

In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

Thanks @ImMeantToBeWorking my spotting has continued and is getting more so definitely think I'll get AF tomorrow or Sunday at the latest. On to cycle #12 for me I guess :-( How did you get on with our cramps, hope they weren't too bad.

@Tchelsea How are you feeling, everything going ok?

Hey @Goodyear2019. A bit terrifying tbh... Had heavy spotting twice this week after sex so That was two sleepless nights for me and a trip to the GP. It's just all scary tbh! Think we're going to pay for an early scan to make sure everything is ok.

How are you feeling? When is your appointment?

AF is due in week so will know more in a few days I expect. I am trying to be calm about it this month as going on holiday in 4 weeks so at least I have something to focus on!

@NedsxxThat does sound scary. Hopefully a scan will put your mind at ease. I really hope everything is ok.
My appointment's on Tuesday. It's hit me a lot harder this month for some reason. I'm anxious to know if there's a problem that can be treated, but another part of me is scared there is a problem that we can't do anything about.
@Danimarie The waiting sucks doesn't it! A holiday sounds great, time to relax and enjoy yourself :-)

@Goodyear2019 Will be thinking about you on Tuesday. Please let us know how it all goes. My friend tried for 2 years and when she finally went to the Dr, he discovered she wasn't ovulating regularly. Gave her some medication (not sure what it was) and she conceived 2 months later.

Thanks for all the good luck messages everyone. Not much to report. We've to get a couple of initial tests at the GP and then depending on the results they'll refer us to the fertility team. Just more waiting lol!

@Nedsxx I will do. No it was a phone consultation so couldn't do any tests (I would have had to wait even longer for a face to face consultation) How are you feeling now? Did you book in for a private scan?

@Goodyear2019 I love the NHS and wouldn't want to be without it, but all the waiting can really be hard! Haven't booked in for a scan yet, will probably book in for one next week or the week after. Fingers crossed everything stays ok!

@Danimarie so exciting!! Let us know!! You can also do a 4 hour wee hold (if you can manage it) if you want to do the test today!
