TTC 1st baby

Hi All,

In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

@Danimarie aww congratulations!!! It’s such a surreal feeling isn’t it!! I ordered a clear blue digital with the weeks on and that came today so I will be doing that in the morning! 😊

It’s so exciting! I really hope everyone else gets their BFP soon. I didn’t expect mine this month as we stopped using OPKs and just went with the flow, although I always had a close eye on my fertile period 🤣
I’ve just done a clear digital and it’s positive too! 🙂 x

@Hoping87 @Danimarie what are your rough due dates?? Mine is 11th January (my brother's birthday!)

Mine will be around 2 February I think x

I’m not really sure when I will be due as my periods were irregular...had a cycle of 31,54,45 days...my last period was 14th April....so when I put it on the calculators online it says about the middle of January? X

@Danimarie I'm ok, (touch wood) I haven't really struggled with morning sickness. I've had a couple of bouts of nausea and that's pretty much been it! However I feel quite weak a lot of the time, my boobs are so sore, and I've developed a lovely metallic taste in my mouth!

@Nedsxx sorry I didn't even realise it was you haha 😂 I thought you were a new person 🙈

@Nedsxx glad you are generally feeling okay! Hopefully the nausea stays that way!
Have you booked in for your scan?

Yeah I was starting to get that impression from a few of the responses I'd been getting @als2912 . I thought they might have shown it but alas not!!

@Danimarie Haven't booked in for the scan yet. I think we might do it next week. I'm just so anxious!

@Nedsxx I can totally appreciate that! How many are weeks are you now?

Morning...so I did the digital this morning....2-3 on the test, so the instructions say the doctors will say I’m about 4-5 weeks...feels very real now it’s in writing! 😊 xx

@Hoping87 ah congratulations! So happy for you. Seeing it in black and white makes it seem more real doesn’t it!

@Danimarie it sure does!! Have you booked your first midwife appointment yet? X

@Hoping87 no I haven’t! I called the doctors and they said I can call the hospital direct to sort everything out which is good news! I will do it on Tuesday I think, have you? Xx

@Danimarie I called my drs and they took some details and said a midwife would be in touch with me, so just waiting to hear from them! Xx

@Hoping87 ah excellent - well done! Bet you can’t wait to hear when your appointment is 🙂 how are you feeling? You are about a week or so in front of me so you can be my guideline 🤣 x

@Hoping87 @Danimarie So I thought I was 6+2 today, but I looked at a different due date calculator which takes into account cycle length, and it has me at 6+6! It also guessed my conception date absolutely spot on! www.bellybelly.com.au/due-date-calculator/

@Nedsxx I don’t know how long my cycles were which makes it difficult to try and figure out a due date...my periods didn’t settle down after coming off the pill. From the clear blue and my apps that I was using, think I’m about 4-5 weeks?! But who knows? I find it really confusing! Xx

I am currently back in the dreaded TTW. Himself was away all week last week so we DDT as much as possible over the weekend. Hopefully it was enough as apps said Ov was Saturday! I totally forgot to start temping again last month. Holding out hope this month.
AF is due the 9th of June so I will know either way by there!!

hi @ImMeantToBeWorking I wont be getting the test until the end of next week on cycle day #21, currently on cycle day #10 so in my fertile week. My DH is going in for testing in a couple of weeks to so will have to wait and see what all of our results say (I'm really not good at all this waiting lol!)
It's annoying with they're away during fertile period isn't it?! My DH is often away for work but thankfully it hasn't impacted too much. It only takes that one time so you've just as much chance this month as always, fingers crossed for you :-)
