Hi All,

In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

Hi Chanel!

I’m 12dpo and getting very heavy period pains so I think I’m out this month.... I thought we might be out a bit earlier because we only managed to BD 3,4,5 days before ovulation! Took a test at 9dpo which was bfn but I expected that with it being so early!

How are you finding it all?

Hello.

Not very good at all the abbreviations. Very new to it all. We started TTC last month. Well over Xmas. It didn't happen. But I'm not surprised we didn't properly try on the suitable days. Although was slightly disappointed as we did DTD about twice during ovulation. He works away at sea so missing this month. But he's home for the next one. So fingers crossed!

Hey @Tchelsea I'm also in the same boat trying for our first, but a fair bit behind you, I've only just begun the 2WW. I got my finger crossed for you and hoping that your cramps are implantation cramps rather than AF! 🤞🏽

@Tchelsea you’re not out till she appears! I feel like I’m a bit negative at the moment, I just assume that it won’t happen having had 6 previous cycles of disappointment!

@mrsawhite I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you! It’s so hard to get timings right when life just seems to get in the way all the time!!

@CaramelCluster thank you! Honestly it’s the longest two weeks ever! People talk about conceiving and taking the test, but they never mention that hideous wait, seeing if you have any symptoms and wondering when you should test! Lots of baby dust for you!!

@Chanel05 it will definitely happen! I have faith, my Mum took 3 years so I’m settling in for the long haul! I think negativity is totally inevitable when you just want something so badly!

I'm 7dpo - tested today and bfn but I know it's way too early haha

Waiting til next weekend now before I test again

Ttc first timer too 
First baby.
This 2 ww is a killer!!
I am 10 dpo, cramping and lower back pain last night. Few other symptoms..going to the toilet constantly.
dp thought it would be a great idea to test today, used a cb and it was negative but not to disappointed! Af is due next weekend so fingers crossed it doesn't come!

@Tchelsea 3 years wow! I don’t think that is a reflection of how long it will take you necessarily, I hope you have your bfp and live baby long before then!!

I'm towerds the end of my tww. Had nausea and dull headache for the last week. A little bit of spotting around 12dpo that was light pink but tried an early res test and was bfn. I'm really getting my hopes up and my OH is trying to play it down so I won't be too disappointed. I'm trying to be patient and hope that I don't see my AF in the next couple of days.

Thanks all for sharing your stories. Really helps to find others going through the same thing. @Tchelsea I'm pretty new too. Took lots of reading to figure out abbreviations!!

Hi everyone, can I join in? We're ttc #1, cycle 5 but only really 2nd cycle of really keeping track, charting BBT, etc.

I'm seeing doc at the moment for blood tests to check hormone levels, due to me being concerned about amount of spotting I normally get in week leading up to AF.

However, in cd30 today, 14dpo and no spotting at all yet... Is AF coming? Who knows!

Last month was a super short 28 day cycle, so trying not to let a 'normal' 33 days ish this month to go my head... Will test next Saturday if AF hasn't appeared...

Hi all!
I'm TTC Baby #1 and on cycle 8. Currently in the 2 week wait with AF due this next week!
Trying reflexology, BBT and CF monitoring and think I've nailed down I ovulate D15 on a 25D cycle, so have a short luteal phase.

Temp have dropped these last 2 days on my chart so feeling a bit down and gutted that I think this isn't the month (again)!
Getting really frustrated and gutted about it all!
Any further tips?
Fingers Crossed for us all!

@Catlady31 It's just so tempting to test early isn't it! I know you're not supposed to be gee... The waiting!!

@S311 that sounds promising!! Keep us informed! Lots of baby dust for you!! That abbreviation website will be a God send!

@hcopp So disconcerting when your cycles differ! Mine range from 24-26 days so I'm going to have to track EVERYTHING and test temperatures to pinpoint ovulation!

@careynurse I don't have any tips I'm afraid, just started out, but I heard pineapple? Not sure if that's accurate! It's so hard to get down and be disappointed isn't it, but if you need to rage and vent I'm definitely here to listen!

@Tchelsea thanks! Always nice to have someone to rant to! Do you do BBT? Taken mine again this morning and it's low again! Still trying to leave a little glimmer of hope in my mind but think it's going to be a BFN for me!
How are you getting on?

@careynurse I haven't done BBT but I think I might start because my cycles differ by a few days each month! I'm worried it'll be another thing I become obsessed with!

I think I'm probably out this month, I feel like AF is coming.. Not cramps exactly but you know just that feeling of being uncomfortable and the back pains! She's due tomorrow so not too long to wait now.
