Argh, I am feeling nauseous now! I have anxiety and so it could be for literally any reason, but obviously I'm convinced it's a Sign...

I've been utterly exhausted all week, but then I have CFS so it's quite difficult to disentangle what is normal symptoms vs unusual symptoms!

Oh dear, I think I need to stop symptom spotting and wait for Saturday! 😆

Goodyear2019 · 29/01/2019 09:31

@Tchelsea sorry it's not good news for you this month, fingers crossed for next month.

My AF not due until Saturday but think I'm out for this month. I've got my usual pre-AF symptoms, feeling tired/irritable and sore heads. Plus my temp has been coming down these past few days, 82.0, 82.1, 82.09, 82.06 :-(

Goodyear2019 · 29/01/2019 09:33

@mrsawhite I don't get ovulation bleeding or pains. I rely on OPKs to find the right days and using temping to try and see a pattern.

Tchelsea · 29/01/2019 09:34

@stitchwitch84 I think it's impossible to stop ourselves from symptom spotting! Have you got anything you can do that will just take your mind off it? I'm at work and still just thinking about it all!

@Goodyear2019 thank you, it was only my first cycle so not feeling too disappointed at the moment but it's such a rubbish feeling when AF rolls into town! You're definitely not out until she shows up! Still keeping my fingers crossed!

@hcopp I'm the same, temp has been dropping, but not down to the line yet. AF due on Saturday, no pre-AF spotting yet, but I usually get that 2 or 3 days beforehand so expecting that to start soon

stitchwitch84 · 29/01/2019 13:22

Well, this is interesting. I have chronic fatigue syndrome/fibromyalgia, and when I was pregnant before I got nauseous and then suddenly my CFS/fibro symptoms vanished, and remained vanished until three or four days after my miscarriage.

FF to today, and I'm feeling suddenly nauseous and…yes, I'm suddenly more awake and much less painful than the last few days.

I also have bloating and mild uterine cramping, though, which are usual period signs, plus sore breasts.

But I can't help being hopeful!!! Shock I must wait to test, I don't think I can bear "losing" another baby…

hcopp · 29/01/2019 13:31

Arghhhhhhhhh! Symptom spotting!! I've just realised how stupidly stupid and forgetful I've been in the past 24 hours. Last night I saw in my car for a good 30 seconds trying to work out if I had just switched off my headlights or if I'd driven home without them on. Now a colleague just walked in and asked me why I'd left my milk out on the side in the kitchen (which around here is a very stupid thing to do). Baby brain?

God, I need to stop doing this! 😆 Still no sign of AF.

Tchelsea · 29/01/2019 15:03

@S311 did you test today??

@stitchwitch84 I definitely think you should wait until AF is late to test!! The signs are promising though and I really am so hopeful for you!

@hcopp When is AF due?

OP posts:
hcopp · 29/01/2019 15:18

@tchelsea My last cycle was 30 days, with spotting from day 22.

Today is cd32 of this cycle, and no spotting.

However, Clue (which is only based on length of previous cycles, not ov day or bbt) suggests AF is due on Thursday. I would be surprised by this as I've none of the usual signs yet. So who knows...!

stitchwitch84 · 29/01/2019 15:55

@hcopp I use Clue to keep track and it always predicts my period about five days early. Since TTC I've been using Natural Cycles, which you have to pay for but which is so much more accurate. I love Clue though because of being able to track symptoms, so I now use both!

Baby dust to you!

fabmaz · 29/01/2019 18:07

Thanks @Tchelsea!!! I hope it is a sign, this is definitely a different kind of tired than normal so I can only hope!
But yes I agree not knowing is the worst!!!! I wouldn't mind if I was out this month, we could just get going for next month haha, but it's the whole has it worked or not worked wait!

S311 · 29/01/2019 18:16

@Tchelsea testing in the morning. AF due today but only got very slight brown spotting so far. Will let yeah know tomorrow eek

careynurse · 29/01/2019 18:21

@Goodyear2019 sorry for the late reply! Busy few days seeing family!
Reflexology is definitely enough to calm me and make me less stressed I think! I also believe it's realigned my cycle and now I ovulate! Hoping it can lengthen my luteal phase (currently 10days), but I have a stressful job and work shifts so if anything it's nice to have a bit of me time in all this madness!
My cycle was going amazing this month until my temp started dropping at the weekend away! I haven't had any spotting like I usually do, and don't feel like AF is coming (usually like clockwork and due Thursday)...if it wasn't for the temps I'd be convinced right now! But I don't think it can be- I've dropped below my cover line! Gutted! Always a glimmer of hope to hold on to- I swear this makes us crazy- I'm trying to convince myself it might be my thermometer! Ha- very unlikely though!
Fingers crossed for you all!

mrsawhite · 29/01/2019 19:54

Hope people get good results soon! Still got to wait another month before we can be in this boat! Is anyone else taking folic acid/pregnancare?

hcopp · 29/01/2019 19:58

Dammit. Dammit. Dammit... Spotting. I think I'm out. 😭

hcopp · 29/01/2019 20:08

@careynurse 100% the same. Temps have been on their way down, if it weren't for that I'd have been convinced.

@mrsawhite Yep, taking the boots own brand combined one. The one piece of advice my sister had given me is to take my folic acid!

Have a good evening all. Hoping for some BFPs from you lot soon!

mrsawhite · 29/01/2019 20:19

Hope to hear some good news from you all soon too! How long are you meant to take the folic acid for? Sorry not sure how to tag people in replies!

stitchwitch84 · 29/01/2019 20:20

@mrsawhite I'm taking plain Tesco folic acid, as I have had weird intolerance problems with every single combination supplement I've tried! (So if anyone wants some packets of almost unused pregnacare/Tesco's own/boots own pregnancy and conception supplements… Grin)

Still convinced I'm not pregnant but I just bloody well want to know! Poor husband is enduring me at the moment.

S311 · 29/01/2019 20:32

@mrsawhite I just started taking pregnacare in the last week..I was taking Centrum for women but realised it only had half the recommended folic acid. Even Berocca has 400mg of folic acid!

careynurse · 29/01/2019 21:12

@hcopp I feel for you! I think this whole process is here to make us stronger! Just keep thinking positive and it will happen! (I say this knowing there will be tears when AF finally shows!)

S311 · 30/01/2019 09:04

So after experiencing all the symptoms for 13 days now, also what I'm pretty sure is ovulation spotting 3 days before AF. No sign of AF after 3 days.. took FRER this morning and it's negative :/

Not sure what to think. Seeing a doctor tomorrow. My husband thinks I'm not feeling well due to stress at work. I will try a different test tomorrow morning if it hasn't shown up yet. Any recommendations?

Goodyear2019 · 30/01/2019 09:04

Thanks @careynurse I might give reflexology a try, a bit of 'me time' wouldn't go amiss, especially during the very long TTW!

Anyone else temping? My temp had been coming down steadily last few days but this morning it was back up. But when I want to the bathroom I think I saw a tiny little bit of spotting, AF due on Saturday. It's all a bit confusing as I thought temp would keep going down if AF on it's way?! I've only been temping for 2 cycles so not much to compare against yet.

stitchwitch84 · 30/01/2019 09:14

@Goodyear2019 I'm temping, but not done it before so I have no advice sadly.

I'm in floods of tears this morning, temp has gone down and I'm more or less convinced that this is not my month. Tears are more for whether we will ever get pregnant, what with my husband being 60 this year and me being in my mid-30s, and time being against us, and what do we do if we can't have children "naturally"…stupid really, but I'm ever so down.

Goodyear2019 · 30/01/2019 09:24

@stitchwitch84 so sorry you're feeling so down today, it's so easy for those thoughts to creep in, but try not to be too disheartened. I'm also in my mid 30s and conscious of age being a factor. How long have you been trying for?
We're on our 7th cycle and it is hard to deal with the disappointment each month, I keep trying to remind myself that it takes the majority of people up to a year to conceive....I'm going to try not to think of the 'what ifs' until we get to the 12 month mark

Tchelsea · 30/01/2019 10:35

@mrsawhite I'm on just folic acid, and then evening primrose supplements inbetween AF and Ovulation!

@S311 I know some people have taken 17 18dpo to get a positive result so don't give up yet!

@stitchwitch84 I'm so sorry you're feeling down today. I'm 32 and the though crosses my mind every day, what if it takes years, why didn't we start earlier! I think the negative thoughts creep into our body and play havoc on us. It's SO hard to not think it! Is there anyway you can relax for the day, maybe head to a spa?
