I'm currently taking folic acid with combined vit d contemplating taking seven seas pregna care does any one have any advise ?

@mrsunshine I'm going to buy some vitamin D, I've only been taking iron and folic acid so far. They don't seem to be agreeing with me even though I'm taking them with food. I'm not taking seven seas/pregnacare because they seem pretty expensive but maybe they'd be less acidy for me. I don't know 🤔.
@mchelenz good news for you then! 😊 I actually wish my OH was a little more reactive. I told him the other day that I was going to remove the coil middle of June and he said "uhuh" 😒 seriously, is that all?!

@mchelenz I've literally been nagging my OH for at least 4yrs 😅 but knew we wouldn't be in a position to ttc until now. Now that it's all real and imminent I'm getting a bit nervous about it all and my OH is totally chilled out 😂 typical... I feel like it's a bit like that game you play when you're at the seaside where you run back and forth trying to avoid getting your feet wet 😂

Anyone else still waiting? Just waiting for one more period then I can start ttc! Since coming off the pill I've had 4 normal cycles around 30 days but my last was odd at 40 days. Due on tomorrow but not feeling like AF is close :( really hope it comes so I can get on with TTC - waited long enough! Doesn't help that a friend announced her pregnancy this week, I'm so eager to join her Grin

Hi Lewk! yep I’m still waiting, just waiting for my next AF then we’re cracking on, in about 9 days time. I have loooonnng cycles. I’m bored of waiting now! going to centreparks next week with the in-laws which was the reason for waiting til next month, if there was a possibility Inwas pregnant this month I would be testing at centreparks and there’s no way i’d be able to hide it! we’re all quite big boozers on holiday. Grin

Still waiting here too! Due to ovulate in the next couple of days, and then we can ditch the condoms, can't wait 😂 AF due 6th May. I feel utterly optimistic that it'll happen first time, I know I need to rein in my expectations 🙈

Ahh nice to know there other who are just waiting for next period too! No sign of it today for me, I have a feeling this might be another long cycle. Gonna start OPK straight away when TTC to see when I actually ovulate. Fingers crossed for us all next cycle!

Hey guys,
A little bit off topic, but basically, me and my bf have been having the baby chat. We has perviously said we weren't planning on having anymore so im currently on depo, which has completely stopped my periods.
But we have both recently changed our minds. We dont want to overly rush into anything but depending on how quickly my period regulate again we're think somewhere within the next year..
I need to come off depo as i know it can take a while for your periods to get back to normal.
Just wondering if anyone knows wether we'd be better just using comdoms for now, or whether if i went i the pill, but if i went on the pill, would i have to wait for my periods to be regular again? So that i could get pregnant when i come off the pill?

If i go straight on it after coming off depo, could be periods still take ages to regulate again.

@Mum190 yeah I think the pill can throw off your cycles. It didn't for me, but for a lot of people it can take a few months to get normal cycles after coming off of any hormonal contraception. Condoms are your best bet if you want regular cycles! I can really recommend Natural Cycles - it's a good way of getting to know your cycle, and you can use it either for contraception or for fertility tracking once you are TTC Smile

hi @mum190 I think if it was me i’d just use condoms, if you don’t mind them , until your cycle comes back more regularly. but perhaps best to ask the practice nurse at your local GP who’s be able to give you the best advice?

well i’ve officially graduated! although i’m rather confused, I think the preconception bits might really be messing with my already long cycles Confused AF was due yesterday. but I had light bleeding, more than spotting but not usual AF on tuesday and wednesday which started after DTD but now it’s stopped and not come back and i’ve no idea whether that was an unusual light period meaning in CD5 or whether it was particularly heavy spotting and AF is still to occur at CD ?36?. Argh!

Graduated too. I'll post this here because I have in the other group. I got this this afternoon, completely unexpected. Husband thinks it's negative. Going to test again Monday.

My husband said I was silly and it's negative. We've come out for a friend's birthday so I'm trying to make my drinks last ages 😂. I hope I can do till Monday. I was convinced this was an indent.

Hi everyone!! Just stumbled on this chat and was looking for some help!
I might be loosing my mind but is that a faint positive or is it my eyes!

I had a blood test done on Friday and waiting for the results but thought I'd do a cheapo test today not expecting anything but then I saw this!!
