@mchelenz ditto! But we're about to move house so maybe not the best time... It's a probate property that needs quite a bit of work so it's not going to be very baby friendly for a while! 🤔Also OH has been getting jittery about babies just recently 😑 he's worried about losing his baby free holidays 😂 so I'm going to treat him to a weekend away in Italy as a compromise 😁 it's all about the bribery...

Mine is more me clearing my debts. But I get paid on the 26th and my money will be where we wanted it to be to try but my fertile day is the 23rd!! He might say wait till May though, then it will be after my Birthday 😭.

Also, having lived in a building site, I would most deffo wait!!!

@vio112 a weekend in Italy sounds amazing!

We've been thinking about missing baby-free holidays too so I've started following loads of family travel bloggers on Instagram to get some inspiration to travel with kids a final holiday before TTC sounds good though! I've just got one period to go before we could be safe to start trying (due to work maternity leave).

@mchelenz congrats on clearing your debts! 🎉👏That's a great way to start the next year of your life 😁 my birthday is at the beginning of June so that's the date we're aiming to start trying. I'll be 29 and would love to have my first child before 30. But feeling zen about it not turning out that way.

@lewk regarding maternity leave I assumed if you've been there a year when you notify them that you're pregnant (@ 12 weeks) then that's OK? I have a job that started last Sept and I'm counting on statutory pay from them as well as another company? It's a bit complicated for me as I'm self employed with contacts at different companies.

Its getting so close for all of us! I've got AF just now too. Will be able to start TTC after my next AF is due, about 6th May. Got a holiday next week where we will sleep in lots and have lots of late dinners and drinks. But we're both looking forward to that changing ☺️

@vio thanks, I've been a bit silly to get into a postion where I owed money. We are super lucky to own our house, but getting a bit depressed I had a lot of shopping trips to cheer me up ( newsflash. They don't 😂). But I've spent 6 months clearing my overdraft and credit card and by pay day will have a 1000 in savings, Im so proud!

I'll be 31 this birthday. I always wanted a baby before 30, that never happened haha.

Husbands answer was a solid no. Got to have 0 on my credit card. Ffs 😭

Eeek it’s getting so close! one more AF to go for me too, due round about the 1st May and then I think we’re throwing caution to the wind, I’m so giddy! hopefully AF won’t keep me waiting like this last one

That's amazing Mchelenz!! Fingers crossed for you! I think I said earlier I was waiting to TTC for maternity leave but I meant I was waiting so I'd be eligible for work's maternity pay AF due in two weeks and then can start after then! Can't believe spring has come round so quick now.

I'm getting really bad acid reflux and spots from those supplements 😩 is anyone else having that problem? Hoping it will gradually ease off in a couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone staying to ttc this month! 😊

Can I join the thread. I had a miscarriage on 28th March and we will be trying to conceive again from Thursday. This will be 2 weeks since I have stopped bleeding.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been so quiet!
Stuff has been happening let's just say that! Although the plan had been to start TTC next month, after reading all the stories about trying for months etc. My fiancé and I decided to start in April. Figured it couldn't hurt and would give us a headstart in case we struggled. I think I posted all this before - apologies if you've read that twice!
Anyway, cut to a couple of days ago, AF didn't show, temps were up so I took a test and I'm pregnant!!!! Actually pregnant!
Obviously it's very early but I'm so happy!

I'm hoping this will motivate you all! I can't wait to see some more spring babies popping up on this thread! 😄😄

Not planning on tracking temperatures just using Ovia to track ovulation days for now and see how it goes I have a hubby who works away so it might be tricky :(

@McHelenz so sorry to hear your DH is not being cooperative 😢 has he always been keen to TTC? It's sounds like he just keeps trying to put it off and put it off. My DH had a deadline too, but when we reached his deadline he became really keen and excited.
