Well done Russkipsy! That's fab! Here are mine for the last few days. Tested far too early but I'm going to a baby shower today and I wanted to know one way or another before then. Now I'm just hoping they keep getting darker.

I haven't been on here for a while because I've had/got flu but just caught up on all the amazing news! Congrats to everyone with BFPs @Russkispy, @Onlyinanemergency, etc. Wow let's hope these BFPs are contagious!
@Hobbes massive congrats on your twin news. So happy for you.
@BooseysMom - thinking of you today. I hope you have lots of birthday cuddles from your DS.
Thanks to flu wiping me out for the past 9 days this month will have been wasted.

@anaconda76..Ah! Thank you for remembering it's today! Not even DH remembered so we've had a blazing row. What made me so happy though was that "happy Birthday" was the first thing DS said upon waking this morning! It's the little things that are important and i shall never forget that

Sorry to hear flu has knocked out a cycle. We had the same not long ago. Hope you feel better soon x

So i finally ovulated cd21. What a crazy month since we started dtd every other day from day 6! My husband is amazing how he manages to stay in the mood. I know sometimes he would prefer not to. So let's see what happens.

On another note I've been ill in bed all day with stomach bug, hope it doesn't scupper my chances. Don't think ive got a temperature tho so fingers crossed.

Ive been using the Ava bracelet this month. It's got no idea when i ovulated yet but hopefully it will start figuring it out over time. It's not ideal since my sleep is so disrupted with me getting up at night with DS who doesn't always sleep, but it seems to be logging some trends.

Russkispy, did you do anything different this month? Were you dtd throughout the whole month if you didn't know when you ovulated?

Welcome to the newbies.

So had my trigger shot at 9am on Friday, we managed to BD at 3pm yesterday and 10am this morning so fingers crossed we had some swimmers waiting for egg release at 9pm on sat night or this morning to catch it. I’m now on tww, cervix is really tender not sure why but I don’t usually feel this tender

Thank you lovely ladies. I'm 42 (43 in April). TTC#2. And this is cycle 7 post missed miscarriage. Going for beta test on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
@Snowie3 , we DTD from cd7-cd19, every other day and mornings only before going to work! And very quietly too as my dad was visiting us that time. Talking about timing and inconvenience hahaha I'm trying to work out when I ovulated and very much clueless! I've tried so many different online calculators! Maybe you lovely ladies can help me!
1st day LMP 13/01
Average cycle 27 days
Expected period 9 or 10 January - BFN (cd 28 and 29)
Cd30-33 all BFN (using cheapie strips)
Cd34-35 not tested
Cd36 today - using FRER - BFP
Been feeling slightly nauseous throughout the day today.
When I tried online calculators based on the above, they all said I'm 5 weeks pregnant today. But am I? Don't think so!?

@Russkispy - if your last period was 13/01 then yes, you are 5w pregnant as you count from last period. You are prob only about 2w from conception if you've only just got a BFP, so must have ovulated late this month!

atm really bloated tum, thought I had already ov but maybe not, managing every other day but on night duty tonight so it'll have to be tomorrow night.. hubs seems to have his af, in a right awful mood so glad am out of the way at work.. 😳

Happy birthday to you Booseys:) sorry your DH forgot?? What is with some men?

AFM - cd25 and still no ovulation and dried up like an old lady:( Low oestrogen is not fun although the hot flashes are mainly staying away and I think the other symptoms are easing a bit. So I’m hoping I’m getting closer to ov but who knows. Overall I’m very down as I think this spells the end for my fertility. I’ve had regular cycles all my life until the last couple years. I’m in good health, slim, fairly fit etc, eat well, doing all the ‘right’ things but this is happening. It’s so depressing. Anyway I’m off to the gp this week so I’ll see what they say but I’m presuming they’ll say well you are almost 43 with one ovary so what do you expect....

Mimosa - what a shitty cycle. Did you ever try soy isoflavones? They are said to increase oestrogen. Or vitex? Said to balance the hormones. I also drink crap loads of green tea after AF as that is also said to help. Good luck with GP, I hope they are helpful.

Thank you Cleo, Chat & Little for birthday wishes 😊 I'm glad it's over tbh. Actually feel better today now it's out if the way! I do feel old I'm afraid. I feel all befuddled! Me and DH not getting on at all now .making me glad we haven't got a newborn to cope with.
