Ooo blimey good luck!!!

Rose68 · 11/02/2019 11:28

Good luck @Mondaycando1 FX for you. Can you upload a photo? x

mondaycando1 · 11/02/2019 12:21

@rose68 sadly no on my aged phone! I'll probably start tomorrow as I am doing another test, you know how our bodies like to delude us!

mondaycando1 · 11/02/2019 14:53

Ah - can now. I took this photo earlier and looking at the thing now I am still sure I can see something but not sure if that's just my eyes playing tricks. Handily it's a pack of 3 tests so might try one before bedtime as doubt I can wait til the morning. That'll sort me a Valentine's present out won't it?!

Over 40 ttc- lots of baby dust for me!
Russkispy · 11/02/2019 15:12

@Rose68 my doctor advised to take cd5-9, always had a scan on cd10 by then follicles were around 19-20mm then had a trigger same or following day and IUI was 36 hours later. Never had any side effects. Definitely no moodiness. And always took a tablet before night sleep. Hope this helps.

Hobbes39 · 11/02/2019 17:25

@mondaycando1 - good luck for taking another test - if I'm honest I don't think I can see anything but it isn't that clear a pic so could just be the photo. Are you late? If you are testing early then hopefully a stronger line will develop once past missed period. 🤞

BooseysMom · 11/02/2019 20:16

Sorry I've been quiet for a few days. I've had a horrible hormonal time which I now realise is that evil bitch creeping up on me 5 days earlier than expected! I have had horrendous anxiety and have been waking at 3am every night almost on the dot and not being able to get back to sleep. I have had hot flushes and splitting headaches. Thankfully I feel better today as AF arrives.

@Letsdothis43 .. really sorry to hear your news and sending you love & hugs x

Welcome @MrsDilligaf ..how does it feel to be officially ttc?! I know what you mean about the bed not feeling big enough sometimes! DS takes over ours quite frequently! x

@littlemimosa...sorry you feel down. It's so emotionally draining isn't it. Big hugs x

@Iusedtobecarmen.. omg yes! I hear you on the approaching 50 thing! I too spent ages acting younger than my years and hence we didn't start ttc until I was in my late 30s. We were lucky to conceive DS but nothing since. But I can't say I've tried as hard as I should. You're not alone x

@coppercolouredtop..I'm 47 next month too and believe I'm still ovulating regularly although starting to feel worse than ever 2 weeks before AF due. That's alot of time feeling bad! Hmm

Hello & good luck to all you lovely ladies x

BooseysMom · 11/02/2019 20:17

@mondaycando1..I can see def see a clear line on the left hand side. Good luck x

Rose68 · 11/02/2019 20:26

@Mondaycando1, yes I think I see something too.

MrsDilligaf · 11/02/2019 20:47

Evening all.

BooseysMom It feels strange...it feels like I'm keeping a huge secret and I suppose I am in a small way. I'm not fond of oversharing IRL but it's no secret I'd have loved to have had a larger family.

What will be will be. At the moment I'm having a panic about my DD's birthday. She told me yesterday that she was having a party with balloons, flags, a pink cake and all her friends from Nursery. She's not BlushSadConfused

and so the bad mum award goes to....

MRSDILLIGAF

ugh...

BooseysMom · 11/02/2019 21:48

@MRSDILLIGAF...that is unforgivable!! Shock you bad bad mum!! I'm v lucky when it comes to parties as DS never wants to go anywhere, only selects a few friends and wants to stay at home! All I have to do is decorate the lounge and front door, make a small buffet and cake and have a few party games. My lucky dip game is legendary and all kids and parents go away happy Smile. Good luck x

littlemimosa · 11/02/2019 22:06

Ooh monday- good luck for testing again, I think I can see something there🤞

Cleo - thanks for what you said. You’ve planted a seed re Clomid. Going to look into it.

Booseys - thanks too. Sorry you’re suffering with bad pmt and hot flashes. You have my sympathy. TCM seems to be massively helping me on that front. Would you consider it?

mellongoose · 12/02/2019 08:05

Morning ladies. Still keeping up, just about.

I return to work next week. DD and I have coughs this week so I think my time alone to recover has pretty much come to an end!!

I cannot go for whole days without tears. When they come, they come in floods though. My last outburst was on Friday. I'm probably due another one any day now.

I believe the hormones are starting to wear off. The insatiable pull to try for another has waned slightly. I feel that I'm at a crossroads. I can pursue potential career opportunities which (IF they work out) would keep me from home a lot OR I continue to ttc. Doing that will keep us struggling for money for a few years longer. The career opportunities would still be there. We aren't on the breadline or anything but we could be doing better!

I'm confused as to which way to jump. I miss my littlest baby and would so love another. I just feel as though I haven't got time to fit it all in and be good at it all!!!!

I've got a counselling session on Thursday...I think I need it!

Just checking in and hoping you're all ok.

mellongoose · 12/02/2019 08:08

I cannot go for whole days without tears
That should say "I can NOW go for whole days without tears"

Cleozeta · 12/02/2019 08:13

Good luck monday

Mellon - good to hear from you, sounds like you are on the road to recovery. As for your crossroads, it's a tough one. I guess one way to look at it would be - would you regret it if you didn't try again? Your career is something you can return to later down the line, ttc isn't. If you feel happy and at peace with either route, then go for it. We are always here for you to help & advise (or just handhold)

Russkispy · 12/02/2019 08:38

CD31 and still no AF. No symptoms whatsoever. But then again I never had any AF or even potential pregnancy symptoms. So don't even know hat to think! Tested again yesterday and it was BFN. Since I didn't track ovulation, I haven't idea about the actual OV day. But we DTD from cd7-19, every other day. Thinking I'll have AF around cd27 or so. But here I am. Still nada.
In the meantime my IVF drugs are arriving today. Waiting time now ....
@Cleozeta I sent you a PM. Not sure if you've read it?!

Chatbash72 · 12/02/2019 08:59

Pregnacare conception vits on offer on Holland and Barrett

mellongoose · 12/02/2019 09:05

Thanks @Cleozeta. I'm on the conception vits, my extra folic acid and some vitamin D spray. Keeping my options open!!

mellongoose · 12/02/2019 09:07

@Russkispy I don't know what to think. Could any stress (apart from ttc) be screwing up your cycle?

Russkispy · 12/02/2019 09:21

@mellongoose I'm usually pretty much cool about TTC. Always resilient and positive. Clearly some things kept me awake last night. But then again I suffered from insomnia with my first pregnancy. Not going to read much into anything right now and just wait. I'm not looking for answers just talking out loud. And you lovely ladies been great for listening and supporting one another. Thank you!

Iusedtobecarmen · 12/02/2019 09:48

mellongoose
Career can wait.
Limited time to have babies
That's what i think
I'd rather be a bit skint and have another baby. They eventually grow up and then we still have to go to work!

Iusedtobecarmen · 12/02/2019 09:51

booseymom
I actually had my first 20s and other two in my 30s
I did actively try and probably put more effort into try then when there wasn't the urgency!
Now I'm in my 40s and time is running out,I've put little effort in.
How do weeks turn into months, into years so quickly?

Iusedtobecarmen · 12/02/2019 09:52

My first in my 20's*

Realitysucks · 12/02/2019 10:01

Hi ladies ,

So I’m back for day 8 scan today, am really hoping something has happened as only had 1 follicle on day 3.

To all you ladies still stimming you’re all doing amazing with your follicles keep those pesky things growing 🤣🤣 I’m trying to be positive but feeling pretty emotional today.

Have read so much about people pushing forward still and seeing improvement at days 10-15 so who knows 🙄

Rose68 · 12/02/2019 10:41

@Russkispy I think clomid can have that effect, but hopefully it’s something else! x
