@Cleozeta I don’t know how I am tbh. Had an ugly cry while watching a show where the character found out she was pregnant then I got up and did a workout. The pink is gone. So confused. Just come on already so I can mark it down and start over again.

Hi girls, I did a FR test this morning, only 9dpo and I’ve got a BFN. I know it’s too early but it’s DP Birthday and I wanted to surprise him with the good news!
Anyone else waiting? I’ll try again in a few days. I have the following symptoms:
dizziness, insomnia, but vivid dreams when I do sleep, tingling nipples, occasional nausea in the morning, and today a bit of mild cramping has started. Hopefully these are not signs that AF is coming!!!! Fingers crossed for all you too xxx

@hmmm123
Take the job!
With the law of sod this will much increase chances of baby!
For example - we had given up and spent practically every penny we had last year on a house build/move just 1 mile down the road from where we lived before. It was a move for pure indulgence - we could have easily stayed put and kept £60k in the bank.
House is fab. However I'm now pg and not sure how we are going to afford mat leave if it sticks. This is the law of sod at work - however I am not sorry!!

I did a FRER on Wednesday at (I think) 8DPO and got a BFN but did another one today at 10DPO with very weak afternoon pee and got a very faint BFP. Not counting my chickens yet, or even telling DP. Will try again tomorrow with FMU

Thanks so much for the warm welcomes everyone

Wishing you all the best of luck esp the ladies who are yet to conceive their first live born. I am so lucky to have my boy and I know this

@littlemimosa T21- trisonmy 21- extra copy of chromosome 21- so down syndrome basically. I know no one will judge on here with rehard to TFMR but at 13.5 weeks it was obvious to consultant baby would not make it much further- I think the fluid all round baby(fetal hydrops I think it can be called) is symptomatic of problems with organs later on.

@hellenbackagen.. i'm with you .. i'm 47 on Sunday. I keep forgetting it then I actually thought I was 45 to be 46! DS asked how old I am and I said 32.. I've been 32 for the last 16 years!

@rubyroot.. i'm so sorry for your loss x

hellenbackagen · 15/02/2019 20:25

hi ruby that was similar to me - i had T21 tfmr at 14 weeks when 44. sadly nothing since

just tested again and another flashing smiley. cd14. when the bloody hell am i gonna ovulate....high fertility but not peak. its detected a raise in oestrogen.
dunno even what that means....!

Report
littlemimosa · 15/02/2019 22:07

Ruby - ah I see. That still must have been a terrible decision/thing to go through. No judgement here at all. Wishing you lots of luck ttc again.

Emergency- how exciting! Can you post a photo tomorrow?

Reality- so sorry it was cancelled but happy to hear you’ve got an egg waiting there. You never know.....

Report
littlemimosa · 15/02/2019 22:09

Hellen - with my limited knowledge of those opks I believe the flashing smiley means high oestrogen but no lh surge. I’ve read that this can be common in us oldies which is why I gave up on those. They drove me insane. Have you got any bodily signs of ovulation?

Report
rubyroot · 15/02/2019 23:43

Sorry to hear that Helen.

Yes mimosa I thought miscarriage at nine weeks was bad, but it was truly awful. I feel like I’ve recovered well though considering. And I know that many women go through so much worse. 13.5 weeks was worse but even more heartbreaking at 24 weeks (someone I know) and also know someone who had still birth at 39 weeks (and they were young in comparison). These babies are so hard to make- little miracles. X

Well I've run out of test sticks now so giving up opk this month

I've been working nights and trying to test so I might have missed peak...or cos I'm testing at all different hours plus sometimes after only a few hours sleep maybe , and I noticed that the box is out of date by a month too .

I've always had flashy then static before when I've used them

Plenty of signs of ovulation, lots of ewcm, pain low down to left in pelvis. Pretty sure I have/will ovulate but I guess I'll know when I get my period when .

I've ordered some more opk (the box of 20 lasted me 5 cycles so worth it. My cycle is pretty regular still at between 28 and 30 days so usually only use 3 or 4 tests .

I've bought them and some internet cheapies too. I'll give it a whirl for another box then save my money I think. I'm pretty sure we've dtd over my fertile weeks up to now with nada so maybe now mind is willing but body isn't!

I found the cheap ones on ebay to be effective. And as you say you usually know from the egg whites GrinI always fancy a msdonalds cheeseburger too- that's how I know

Thank you ladies! Absolutely in shock and trying to keep it together! Never had a natural conception! Don't even know what's next! What supplements to stop taking ?! What to carry on with? I've got loads of progesterone. Am I taking them? Waiting to speak to my doctor. And maybe she asked to do beta tests next week.

Report
rubyroot · 17/02/2019 10:52

Also hoping you have a 'golden egg' like the term @Dickybow321. I'm not an expert on the supplements, but I don't think it will do any harm to have the progesterone- don't they give that to some ladies whohave low progesterone to help the pregnancy stick? You'll see your doc soon anyhow but am sure they'll do no harm
