🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

A thread for all those who have suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately know as the penguin huddle.

We'll start with a roll call as there have been so many new members lately and so many success stories that I think we've all lost track.

@Boboelephant It went well from what I can tell. Nothing negative was said anyway which they said they'd do if that was the case. Had a fall a couple of days ago and after trying to spend over a day trying to get a hold of a mw, bubs seems a-ok on their doppler thingy. She was more worried about me 🙆

L1zz13 · 09/06/2018 15:26

Started back on the pill today!

Yukka · 09/06/2018 15:40

@littlemma I'm with @boboephant cd17 was the surge xx

HidCat · 09/06/2018 16:00

@Pearcrumble please don't ever feel that an early loss is not worthy of grief. So many people do but that baby is yours the moment you see that positive test and you can grieve as you need to. Lots of love to you 🐧

@Pancakes7 there's always room for a quickie lol

@weasledee I'd invoke the law of sod and pray to still be able to make the hols!

Sorry to see more of the TTCers joining, here's for more BFPs this month! 🥂 and hi to those who are lurking through their pregnancies!

@Unicornsandrainbows1 I'm so happy for you! Awful about your fall- do take care- but looks like you have a determined bean in there. I still remember all the crap you were going through when I joined (8 threads ago!! 😯) but so glad it's all working out. Hope I can join you soon!
@L1zz13 that's final. Hope you're ok xx

strawberrye · 09/06/2018 16:28

@Pearcrumble I know exactly what you mean. There are some days, my darkest days when I feel very down, when I feel like my losses were too early to count as "proper" miscarriages and that I am a fraud by being on here/labelling myself as having had 2MCs. There's still a small part of me that worries I'll never qualify for medical help should I need it - I worry if i had another MC the RMC won't accept such early losses as "real" miscarriages and the infertility clinic won't accept a referral because technically I've been pregnant twice in 7-8 months. So I totally sympathise with how you were feeling. But as the others have said, a loss is a loss no matter how early, never feel like you don't deserve to be here or don't deserve to feel devastated about your loss FlowersFlowers

Hey everyone, checking in.

MC in feb18 @ 10+5, died at 8 wks
Ttc since Aug 17.

Currently 10dpo, not had any symptoms at all this month and BFN this morning but last time only got a very light bfp on 12dpo so still a bit early.

So sorry to new and old names on here, hopefully some lovely bfp's this time.

@Unicornsandrainbows hope you are ok? I was so clumsy when I was carrying my first, pretty much would fall over fresh air!

@Hidcat thanks for the new thread, sorry you got a bfn. Xxx

Pampl3m0usse · 09/06/2018 17:42

@Pearcrumble. I hAve a may birthday and found out I'd lost the baby on my birthday.... it truly sucks doesn't it!!! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed extra hard for you this month xxx

Pampl3m0usse · 09/06/2018 17:45

@yukka - yes I was a December one too. the baby would have been due on the first anniversary of my mum's suicide. if I get pregnant this month (highly unlikely) baby would be due on her birthday..... bizarre... anyway hopefully we will pop up on an antenatal board together very soon!!

Pancakes7 · 09/06/2018 18:02

@Boboelephant Thanks. I just took another and got a pale line again. Very pale though. Lots of cm just now very stretchy. Dh has a headache ☹ so will try tomorrow. Hopefully means I'll ovulate in a couple of days and will jks.

Pearcrumble · 09/06/2018 18:07

Thank you so much for your words @hidcat that really made me feel better and more at ease. I feel supported today.

@strawberrye really sorry to hear of your two losses and completely understandable fears over how they will be treated. Thank you for sharing, it made me feel less alone.

@pampl3m0usse when the midwife rang me to tell me to go for an emergency scan because of the heavy bleeding she ended the call by saying 'happy biiiiiirthday' in a cheerful tone...Hmm had to laugh (later) can't imagine how difficult it is to have sadness on top of sadness, with your mum's death and your miscarriage and the goddamn birthday kicker, you've had such a lot to cope with. That you still took time and thought to wish me well with my own lesser things shows what an amazing person you must be. In fact that really goes for everyone on here, what an amazing supportive group.

Well, I am just waiting for my first period after MC, hoping it will be next week. Then we will start TTC again.

Thanks everyone

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 09/06/2018 18:18

@Boboelephant 😮 It's crazy how fast this thread moves! I'll definitely try my best to not do that again. I hope you can join, even if it's not on the other thread, I want a PM with lovely news (from all of you!). I actually hate this separation because I want us all to be in a good place together, and when you're still TTC it just feels like such a leap away. No one deserves to feel like that. Ever. ❤❤

hayleyfx · 09/06/2018 19:11

@Boboelephant thank you! Hopefully good news for both of us soon 🤞 you’ve literally done everything that can be done I think. You’re like a TTC guru! 🤣 it has got to be your month - feeling so hopeful for you, fingers crossed 🤞

@Anyday88 thank you, hope you’re doing alright and are out of limbo soon!

@L1zz13 sending hugs to you hun. I hope you’re okay Flowers

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 09/06/2018 19:56

4dpo and symptom spotting, got sore boobs, sharp Pains like fanny daggers, hoping that these are good things
Also on a mobile app other than writing names down how can I see people's details to write back to ? I start replying and then forget everyone's names !

DaisyMay25 · 09/06/2018 21:16

@Lovewinemorethanhusband I just cross it and the message is still there to continue when I go back

I'm ovulating today and I woke up so poorly, my throat is agony! Gotta soldier on though!

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 09/06/2018 21:37

I tried that and it still all.disappeared will play around I think thank you though @daisymae25 , fingers crossed dyou feel better soon x

Martydog · 09/06/2018 22:35

Dh is still out with his friends. I went to a friends for dinner but got back about an hour ago. Can't sleep. Really hope he's not too hungover as it's 2 days without dtd now. 3 successful days before that. Hopefully its enough to get a bfp. Fx

RedRobin7 · 10/06/2018 07:41

Morning @Pancakes7 How's your DHs hangover? I think you said you had dark lines around 8th June? Mine was on the 7th and we DTD on the 8th but I think that was too late! I get the ovulation pains (same day as the static) so for me I think the static smiley is approx a 12 hour warning. So I'm keeping everything crossed for the BDing we did 36hrs before the static! Fx for us both!

RedRobin7 · 10/06/2018 07:48

@Pancakes7 Sorry just realised it was negative on 8th not positive! I haven't slept yet 🙈 I find I only get accurate results with my FMU. I could have positive AM, negative PM and an obvious line the next AM. I found this with OPKs and same with my pregnancy tests in Jan. I do drink about 8 pints of water a day so that's probably why! JKS as much as possible.

Boboelephant · 10/06/2018 08:13

@Funkyemzie ooh when will you test again?
@UnicornsandRainbows1 thanks hun. That's lovely. ❤
@hayleyfx haha yep that's what all the obsessive googling gets you! 😂
@Lovewinemorethanhusband not sure if it's the same as I use the website but on my phone. I just press on named and copy and paste.
@DaisyMay25 hope you feel better soon. Welcome to the tww!

Who else is in the tww???

@PassTheAfterEights where are you? Are you near testing time?

@Pancakes7 hope you can dtd this morning!

Murderino · 10/06/2018 08:23

Just realised we've moved - I've been a lurker for a while but not said anything!

Age: 32
TTC: #1
Mc at 6 weeks last September
Cycle - who knows I think 8

Currently in the midst of the TWW convinced the flurry of spots on my chin is pregnancy related...

littleemma1 · 10/06/2018 08:32

@Boboelephant think I’m in the TWW but depends on if my body actually OV’d.
Plan is to wait until 2nd POAS (probably before then!) and if -ve and no AF then to start pills to keep AF away until at least 17th July as I don’t want to bleed onto my white wedding dress, worry about not being able to go in the pool/wear swimsuit, and I want to enjoy honeymoon sex even if it’s not fertile sex!
Going to take a dive off here for the TWW and just lurk 🧐 as I don’t want to obsess over anything, I’m determined to chill xxx

littleemma1 · 10/06/2018 08:33

2nd July that is xxx

RedRobin7 · 10/06/2018 08:36

@littleemma1 I'm determined to chill too... I was obsessed first time. I was testing early and my IC were faint positive and then negative before my actual BFP so don't want to drive myself insane again! Will try to wait until 13 dpo. I have the dentist on 13 dpo so want to check I'm not pregnant as they always want to do X-rays!

@Boboelephant When do you plan to test?
