Hi ladies
I'm trying to conceive no. 2. My aim was to ttc from January of this year - however due to one thing or another (very stressful time at work!) I have not been giving it my all. I have now decided I need to focus on ttc no.2 as I am very conscious of the growing age gap! Please join for a friendly chat and to hopefully support each other!

Stats
Age - 35
Ttc - #2
CD - 21
DS - 3 years 10months!

Don't want to obsess about it! However I think it's inevitable!

I'm waiting for AF to finish also.
I don't know wether to try the laid back approach of 'see what happens' for a couple of months or do what I did this month with OPK's. I hated the feeling of getting theSmile face, DTD and then BFN!
hope you all have a great bank holiday.

Hi RaRa and Remember I'm waiting for AF to finish too and it's been a doozy (hope this is the wtf cycle penguin mentioned). I am trying to be laid back (no pun intended!) this month so will try to just DTD every other day and maybe not test? Might be more relaxed than 'I have a smiley face! Go! Go! Go!' Grin we shall see. Wishing you all good luck.

I'm also waiting for AF to finish! Haven't used OPK yet but thinking I might try, would anyone recommend one in particular?

I'm waiting for AF to start. Should be Tuesday or Wednesday. But I have serious PMT. Actually had an argument with DSs football coaching yesterday after driving 4 hours for a tournament only for DS to be sat on bench nearly whole time. Broke my heart it's only u6 so it's not meant to be about winning, I'm not the sort of person to be like that so can only be hormones as I totally saw red. Obviously we can never go back to football now ha ha!

We are away today so going to fund a hot tub to chill in. I'm driving myself mad as even though I'm pretty sure I didn't ov this month I'm still symptom spotting like a mad woman. But would you get creamy cm if you didn't ov? Because I thought that was related to progesterone which is made by corpus lutemm after ovulation? So if I have cm does that mean I did ovulate or do you get it when you don't ovulate too?

Well, I caved today and tested - BFN Although I'm only 10 DPO
I'm usually quite disciplined and hold out until I'm actually late - but they were there and there's a bottle of prosecco in the fridge so I needed to know!

Saying that, I really don't fancy a drink as feeling a little ropey, although that may be because of last nights drinks!
Boobs are really sore, worst they've been since I was BF DS! This was what convinced me I needed to test before I cracked open the wine!

Hi ladies
I am just going to try and Dtd every other day and chill out!
With regards to OPK's - I've only ever used the cheapy ones from eBay! Going to try and lose some weight and be healthy and see how I get on! I have half term this week so hopefully will be much much less stressed! Roll on the summer holidays I say!

Oh, I've made the bad mistake of fishing the test out of the bin and there is a line!
A very thin, off centre line!

Eeeeek If hold off on the wine!

Report
tinkwastaken · 29/05/2016 19:21

Was it a pink line test or a blue line test?

Report
IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 29/05/2016 19:49

It's a Blue line. Sainsburys own.
I'm on the fizzy water instead of the fizzy wine!

Thanks for your excited support everyone :)
If I'm brave enough I might do another in the morning!

If this is a false alarm then I'm going to be mightily disappointed in my body - sending me all these very convincing signals just for a laugh!

Well, I tested agin this morning and I'm still unsure.
I'm sure I can see something, but I was looking very very hard, however my imaginary line did appear in 5 mins.

What do you think?

Yes I see a line! How exciting!

I think I can see one. I can never see blue ones very well even in the flesh so the fact I see anything seems promising. I was so tempted to take a test this morning. I resisted and now I regret it. I've spent 2 weeks convincing myself I didn't ovulate and I've spent the last 24 hours convinced I'm UTD Grin

I couldn't help myself, but I've been out and bought some more tests, but sainsbo's only had blue ones. However, there's no mistaking this new line Grin
