Mrs & JPEG looks like we are all on CD5, very light flow for me today. First few days of period have been really heavy since miscarriage in January but they don't seem to last too long.
Time goes so slowly when you are waiting.
Good luck for this month everyone.

Grapefruit8 · 26/04/2016 15:46

Brenna so sorry for you. Look after yourself WineThanks

AmyB1986 · 26/04/2016 15:47

I have had vertigo in the past Brenna yes but that was sudden spinning dizziness, most likely it is a touch of vertigo. Hope your leeks do well, I had a batch of courgettes last year. They were massive, ended up giving loads of them away. Our strawberries and blueberries are just starting to show buds now. Plenty of fruit coming in the next few weeks.

Jpeg I'm not very hopeful for a bfp this cycle. Hoping it won't take too long though.

Been to fetch dd's from school in the lovely sunshine. I could see a black cloud looming so took my coat, standing in the playground and it started to snow! This weather is so odd!

I can't decide whether to dtd daily or every other day either. So far been every other day but I've got a feeling I might've already ovulated. I'm cd 18 mind so it's very possible. The month I fell preg I ovulated late so who knows.

I bought pre seed but haven't used it yet - don't feel on the level with DH so dtd has kinda been just for the sake of it rather than a genuine want. It's mostly me and not DH but I just feel fed up at the moment.

HopefulKate1980 · 26/04/2016 19:46

Just tuned in after a few days off... Brenna, so sorry to read about the bleeding. Got everything crossed for you. You have been a rock on this thread so really hope it all comes good for you. You really deserve it. Sending you lots of thoughts and hope.

P.s your dog is so funny!!

HopefulKate1980 · 26/04/2016 19:56

Hope everyone else is ok too.

amy how are you feeling??

I'm on CD 9 and we have DTD twice so far and hoping to keep it up for a week until the weekend. Eek. I checked for CM today and my cervix felt quite sore. Anyone else had that?!

5tardusty · 26/04/2016 19:56

Sorry about the bleeding brenna. I hope you are OK

My bleeding has just about stopped now and so have commenced dtd for the WTF cycle. No idea what to call cycle day one as first day of bleeding, medical management and passing of the sac happened over a 10 day window. Still on +ve tests tho so i'm fairly confident i havent missed ovulation during the red tide!

Good luck to all of you. Let's get pregnant.

AmyB1986 · 26/04/2016 20:05

Kate feel drained now but I'm ok, not had any dizziness for the last hour. Sometimes my cervix feels grazed especially when we've dtd. It gets pretty tender when I'm about to or have just ovulated as well.

5tar glad your bleeding had stopped. I counted first day of bleeding as cd1 but I miscarried naturally and the bleeding stopped once everything had passed about day 9 of bleeding. Stil took another 40 days to get af after that though for me.

Oh Mrs that's so tough... I think I would have had to say something too in that situation. Hopefully now that she knows she might just not mention it again.

HopefulKate1980 · 26/04/2016 22:01

I'm so sorry Mrs. I wouldn't have been able to hold my tongue either. Do you get on with her? I can't believe how insensitive people can be sometimes especially other women. I really really hope you fall before her... X

HopefulKate1980 · 26/04/2016 22:48

I really didn't mean to sound rude then btw. I was trying to be supportive of you Mrs. Hope you are ok xx

MrsH30 · 26/04/2016 23:09

Hello everyone,

I hope its ok, if I hop on board. Sorry for all of your struggles. Brenna, I hope things work out for you.
I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks in September. Was still testing positive until November so only really been able to start TTC again since Jan. No-one I know who is TTC has had a MC so its been quite a lonely process, its so lovely to see the support you're giving each other on here.

Mrsunsure, I think you deserve a medal for dealing with such an insensitive SIL, hopefully she'll be better behaved from now on.

If you want to remove it, click on the report button next to it and report it to Mumsnet and ask them to remove it as being too identifying. So sorry she was so insensitive.

Hi MrsH. So sorry you are here. Everyone is wonderful and welcoming and you will get lots of good advice and plenty of sympathy (and a lot of laughter sometimes too).

Welcome mrsH glad you found us. I feel exactly the same with my friends. They really don't understand, which is great for them but pretty isolating. We will get there together on here though. Our BFPs are just round the corner...

Clarity77 · 27/04/2016 09:19

Mrs- I think she sounds like someone who is very self obsessed and incapable of empathy. I don't think its wrong to tell people you are struggling to conceive though. I think it helps, but then I like to be very open about things because at least that way there is no excuse for others to be (unintentionally insensitive) your SIL has no excuse now!
Not yet tried the fertility gel it was quite expensive in Boots £12 for only 6 sachets. I'm saving for very fertile days.
For so many reasons hope this is a good month but as we all know a BFP is only the start of the journey.

Clarity77 · 27/04/2016 09:22

Forgot to add that I still can't seem to notice changes in my cervix or CM, I've tried to note these things but there doesn't seem to be much change in either.
Also this temperature thing, I don't seem to be having much luck. I Am using a baby digital thermometer but 1 minute my temperature is 36.2 and the next it's 36.7 is this sort or variation normal or is my thermometer inaccurate?

Hugs Mrs

I went back to work today. I got a parking ticket on my way in as I stopped off at my old work to pick something up and stayed for a cuppa and sympathy with a friend there and totally forgot my car was in a short stay space. Then my poor boss had to tell me he is going to be off on paternity leave soon. He was really worried about telling me (and I am not sure I would have chosen today to be hearing the news) but he was really worried that I would hear from someone else, so felt like he had to tell me asap. He waited so late to tell us all as they lost one last year and then his wife didn't want anyone to know just in case, but he knew several other people knew and didn't want anyone to tell me. I did quite well, stuck a smile on and congratulated him (I am really happy for them, they are such a lovely couple, I jsut don't have a natural smiles today). Then went through to my office and cried for a bit. Luckily I have several good people here who are quick to offer a shoulder to cry on.

brenna ThanksThanksThanks

clarity sorry i havent seen all your posts but if you are temping for ovulation i believe it's got to be first thing in the morning, before you've even gotten out of bed. That's the most fair way of monitoring any changes caused by your body's processes, rather than your activity levels. I haven't tried it yet so i'm certainly no expert and sorry if i have misunderstood!

Pregnancy test much fainter today. Hoping for -ve over the weekend. Anyone got any idea whether HCG inhibits the 'proliferative phase'. Not sure whether my ovaries will be bothering to develop follicles while i've still got HCG. This is going to be loooong month.

jpeg28 · 27/04/2016 17:44

Brenna that sounds like such a tough day... Sending hugs...

5stardusty I think you can ovulate when your hcg is around 10... So I've heard. I am convinced I ovulated when I was still getting faint positives but as soon as it turned negative I got af the next day.

With regards to the temping, I try to take mine as soon as I wake up, this is usually before my alarm I take it, struggle to open my eyes to even see the reading and go back to sleep! I find that way I haven't really moved so it should be accurate!

I'm on cd6... Af still not stopping, I'm so used to 4 days I don't know what's going on... I know it's early days but I'm scared I'll miss ovulating this month!

5tardusty · 27/04/2016 18:23

jpeg i'm scared of missing ov too! Thats why i'm desperate for these tests to go negative so i can get back to my trusty opks! I'm so impatient and i need to get a grip and let my body just do it's thing. A month will seem like nothing once our babies are here.

jpeg28 · 27/04/2016 18:26

I'm ridiculously impatient! I was testing almost every day when mine were still positive... It won't be much longer!
