Maybe you just ovulated later than you thought Brenna hence the other test being negative

AmyB1986 · 23/04/2016 15:59

Wow Brenna congratulations!!

My nana loved all her banners and glitter... Off out for dinner with the family soon

Grapefruit8 · 23/04/2016 20:21

Brenna SmileSmileSmile** not sure if you remember me from previous threads- I had a miscarriage same time as you. Ive been lurking on this thread but just seen your BFP and I am over moon for you!!! Congratulations

Brenna24 · 23/04/2016 23:43

Thank you all.

Glad your Nana loved it. The fact you put time and thought into doing something for her is lovely in itself.

Hi Grapefruit. I do remember you. Thank you. How are you doing? Are you ok?

Cheeky I've attached a copy of my chart for this month. I reckon I ovulated 2 days after FF said I said I did, although I normally get the dip the day of ovulation, the day after the positive OPK, so this month is slightly unusual for me. I reckon it just took a while to implant. I got wakened up by a massive, really excruciating cramp last Sunday night, which I reckon was implantation. I thought there was a really faint line on the test I took on wednesday and compared to the same type I did this morning there was, but the one this morning showed nothing, but was only an IC. I suspect it was a bit dud. The superdrug one certainly showed up more clearly.

Congrats brenna fab newa i have been watching out for BFP's. Really pleased for you Flowers

AmyB1986 · 24/04/2016 10:20

Hi all, hope you're all ok.

We had a fab evening celebrating my nanas birthday and had a massive surprise when my uncle walked in! He'd got a flight from Cyprus where he's based with the army just to surprise us all! Massive shock but a great one. It was also my grandmas birthday too so we had double birthday cakes and candle blowing.

Brenna your chart looks great, I've done a chart overlay this morning and mine looks pretty similar temp wise to last month. I think FF predicted my ov wrong two months in a row. The only difference is, last month at FF predicted 8dpo I had a huge dip, this month I had a huge rise. According to that I'm 10dpo but I think I'm only 7-8dpo given the opk and pains early hours of cd16. Wishing you an uneventful pregnancy, so happy for you xx

Brenna24 · 24/04/2016 10:28

That sounds like a great evening. I hope that that rise is significant and you are joining me on this journey shortly. I am up to 36.64 this morning. That pregnancy exhaustion thing has kicked in today and I am utterly wiped out. I had quite a productive day yesterday, going to the bank and post office in town, potting up some seedlings and seeing my friends and their kids to give one of the kids a birthday present. This morning I have walked the dog, swept all the floors, done and hung out a washing and made breakfast. I am now sat with my feet up for a bit and I feel like I got hit by a bus. I need to go out to church in a bit and buy dog food and a spray for DH's sore throat. Than I will be back on the sofa for a while I think.

I am a bit worried still about the chances of this sticking but I am trying to be optimistic. Today I am pregnant. I am trying not to think about tomorrow.

Oh and thank you Gingerbread. We have had a bit of a drought of BFPs, hopefully that is the floodgates opened for a few more.

Sounds like you're having a busy day brenna. Put your feet up and relax. Positive thinking is the way to go and like you said you're pregnant no doubt about that!
I've made myself really mad, I put my whites in to wash. Kids school uniform is red and white gingham dresses, so the red shouldn't run right? Well it bloody has and has turned all my lovely whites PINK AngryAngry so annoyed with myself! They're now soaking in vanish. What a total div I am!

Brenna24 · 24/04/2016 15:51

Oh no Amy. There is something called colour run remover which works really well for that sort of mishap.

I have had horrible cramping all afternoon and some pink when wiping. It is not looking so good right now.

Fingers crossed for your Brenna make sure you take it easy. Thanks

5tardusty · 24/04/2016 16:22

Congratulations brenna- that is great news!

I've got my follow up appt at EPU tomorrow to check nothing is left of my pregnancy. I think i passed everything on thursday night during something of a mini labour (ouch); five days after my medical management, so i am hoping to not need any further intervention. Still bleeding so no dtd yet.

Have been getting occasional sharp pains which feel quite like ovulation pains which i get from time to time. Just hope its my body sorting itself out finally. Would have been 11 weeks now so feels like a lot of wasted time considering i lost the baby at 5 wks.

Oh no Brenna Sad got my fingers crossed for you xx

LuckyinOctober · 24/04/2016 18:20

brenna congrats I had a feeling this was your month. Pink spotting can be normal, you're probably right to take a day at a time. Sounds like you have other pregnancy symptoms which the EPU told me was a good sign.

AF got me yesterday but at least that means my supplement regime has extended my luteal phase to 12 days so feeling hopeful about that for this next month and have been enjoying wine, good food and time with friends this weekend while it's safe to do so.

Hi mrs for the first time this cycle I've been taking agnus castus because I'd read that helped LP. I've also been taking evening primrose with b6 because I'd read that helped too, red raspberry leaf tea and red clover tea, and pregnacare conception vitamins. I'm also sprinkling chia seeds on my food. Hard to be sure what worked but agnus castus has a good rep for it. I'm not sure about the compatibility of supplements and clomid so might be good to check with your consultant?

Mrs me and my daughter both take bee pollen for hay fever and other allergies. It's great stuff. I use the aloe drinking gel as well the cranberry one because I had awful bloating which has now gone. Read somewhere that fennel is good for fertility so I've started drinking fennel tea as well.

redstrawberries101 · 25/04/2016 07:07

Amy, just wanted to let you know I have read the opposite re fennel

www.natural-health-for-fertility.com/fennel-and-miscarriage.html

Albeit they are talking about fennel seeds and I imagine the herbal tea isn't very strong. Just wanted to let you know and hope you don't mind xx

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 25/04/2016 07:51

Another bfn for me and feeling very pre-menstrual this morning so looks like this isn't my month. But hormonally I've felt better this month, no spotting, acne, or crazy mood swings so I'm feeling generally positive about it all

AmyB1986 · 25/04/2016 07:52

Cheeky that's good to know! I only have one cup a day for digestion as its naturally caffeine free and I'm trying not to drink coffee. Maybe I'll stop drinking it and just stick to my green tea instead.

Brenna24 · 25/04/2016 08:00

So sorry about the BFN IC

I have had no more spotting since that first bit of pink. The cramps died down after a few hours. I have however now got DH's lurgy and am running a high temperature, so I am worrying about what that is going to do to the bean, assuming it is still ok for now. I've taken a couple of days off work and am just lying in bed and hoping for the best. I've kicked DH out of his sickbed and told him he has to take over looking after everything.

Brenna glad to hear your spotting has stopped.
I've just done a clear blue ovulation test and it came up with a flashing smiley? Now I don't know what these are like at picking up pregnancy hormones and I don't want to waste one of my frers to check and possibly get a bfn. What do you guys think? Maybe it's just wrong and it's nothing.
