Hello, can I join? We've been TTC #2 for 2 years and I had 2 early MC last year at 5 weeks. Just got my BFP this week!
Am trying to stay calm and take it one day at a time. I know that nothing can really prevent another MC but keeping positive and hoping for a sticky bean and November babySmile

Pacothepidgeon · 16/03/2016 17:51

Sending positive sticky bean vibes your way morecake Smile

redstrawberries101 · 16/03/2016 17:54

Thanks for the explanation! I'll
Give it a try...

LuckyinOctober · 16/03/2016 19:39

Congrats Flourishing!

Hopefully we can start collecting our next set of 3 now, that's a good start to this new thread!

I'm about 9dpo, AF would be due this weekend and I'll test on Sunday if I haven't caved by then. My temperature's still rising, my CM is clear/watery and I've been nauseus with intermittent back pain, boobs are still full from ovulation but not particularly tender now, feeling calm so far. DH thinks this cycle could be the one, I'm trying to keep an open mind as early pregnancy and PMT symptoms feel pretty similar to me!

I think we missed ovulation. I have 0 ewcm now so if it happens the other day we haven't bd'd enough to get a positive. I'm throwing out the opks, hoping for a totally normal af and going to just for customers on smepping without opks next cycle. I'm having the rest of the month off thinking about it because I'm sick of the stress! No tww for me, but keeping my fingers crossed for you all xx

MoreCakeMoreCake · 16/03/2016 19:54

Thanks Paco and Mrs!
Mrs, there is always always hope. It only takes one good swimmer!
Loki, the stress is hideous isn't it. I dumped the opks and was just temping and checking cm this month. Was so sick and tired of peeing in a cup every morning for the opk! Exhausting. Very best of luck to you!

Loki17 · 16/03/2016 19:59

I need to follow your lead, More! Congratulations on your bfp Flowers

AmyB1986 · 16/03/2016 20:28

More congrats on your bfp!

Loki sorry you missed it hun Sad

Mrs we're surging at the same time! I was about to throw my opk's in the bin but checked my cervix and it was open so tested and it was positive for me too eeeeek!! Waiting for my temp to rise now to confirm it.

Feeling quite tired so progesterone is on her way. Preparing for one last dtd tonight before the egg pops through then on to tww the actual first since mc.

Mrs have everything crossed this is the one for you. I was sitting at work wondering how many sperm have managed to get to their destination and what they actually do when they get there. If they're anything like their former host they'll have recliner chairs and be snoring like my DH is at the min! That's my fault though for wearing him out Grin

FlourishingMrs · 17/03/2016 00:06

Amy that's so funny, my DH is very athletic and easily distracted, so I always wondered if his swimmers would swim towards my pancreas hence the time it's taken.

It will happen ladies just keep up with OPK it's the best way. no point missing The main event even if you SMEP.

I still haven't told DH. Getting a digi tomorrow. Off on holiday so will tell him at the beach

redstrawberries101 · 17/03/2016 08:00

So happy for those with BFP's! I'm on CD6 and think AF has just about finished. Went for my massage last night and the lady said that she thinks my body needs another year or so to get strong (after my cancer diagnosis in 2011/ major surgery) and it was a great sign I fell pregnant but it sounds like my body struggled to hold the baby. It got me thinking a bit. I'm going to try not to stress and just hope for the best. At the moment just planning on dtd freely when we feel like it and seeing what happens.

AmyB1986 · 17/03/2016 08:22

Flourishing my DH is not at all athletic although he is very slim and muscular despite the amount he eats! I only have to look at a biscuit and a stone shoots on!

Cheeky I think you're probably right. It takes time to get over illness especially cancer. I think that was why I lost our baby. I had surgery to remove my ruptured gallbladder which had shot infection all around my abdominal cavity. I was in the hospital on a drip for 5 days before my op, 4 days after and spent 6 weeks recovering at home then, fell pregnant at some point after Nov 10th but didn't know as had no period to date by. I think all my reserves where depleted for me and it just wasn't enough to keep growing a baby.

I've had another positive opk this morning. Darker than the control line today.

Morning everyone. I'm 9/10dpo and I have the smallest hint of a line on an Internet cheapie. My OH can see it too but it barely photographs. Not getting too excited though (like I was last time) but not sure if it will show on a frer of I do one later?

FlourishingMrs · 17/03/2016 10:13

It will show on the Frer before the cheapie do go for it. Congrats. lucky thread.

AmyB1986 · 17/03/2016 10:14

Wow jo that's fantastic news. Personally I'd buy the frer and do it with fmu. It'll be disappointing if it doesn't show with dilute urine but if an ic is picking it up this early then I don't know.

Cheeky I know what you mean. For most people miscarriage is one off bad luck and heartbreaking.

Got another peak on my clear blue dual hormone! Used the test reader but looking at the lines on the test reader it is more peak than the peak I had two days ago if you get me. Estrodiol line is super light and the lh line is really dark. They are really sensitive to lh and picked that up quicker than the IC's.

Pacothepidgeon · 17/03/2016 11:30

Exciting Jo Smile

Got my first post mc af today. Feel relieved that it's back and we can start trying again in April. I'm just a bit scared that this af is going to be awful and weirdly its brought back memories of the mc and made me a bit weepy. Is that weird?

AmyB1986 · 17/03/2016 11:59

Paco no it's not weird at all its normal to feel the way you do. Mine was the same, made me feel like it was happening all over again. My af wasn't too bad, I had one day where it was really heavy and lots of spotting when it finished.

AmyB1986 · 17/03/2016 12:05

I'm on here a lot today, bored waiting for my dd's to finish school.

It's dd1's 8th birthday today, remembering her twin who I lost at 8 weeks thinking what it would have been like to have another son or daughter here today. October will be my twin ds's 10th birthday.

Feel bad for not visiting them apart from on their bday but I hate going there to see how many other little beds have been made around them. Feel very guilty today Sad every day feels one day further away from them.

JoMalones · 17/03/2016 12:51

Amy - happy birthday to your dd and her twin.

Ok so I have no patience! Didn't drink or we all morning and just did a frer and it is a BFP!!! I can't believe it! I took a step back this month and not been on here much, no opk, no temp etc and it happened.
