TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!

Hi prty - they could be pregnancy symptoms, but it is just too early to tell.

I think when ttc we pay a lot more attention to our bodies, and it's possible u always get these things on the run up to AF just never noticed before.

I've been ttc the last four months too, and keep convincing myself I've got pg symptoms when it's also just me being hyper-aware of my body.

Example: this morning I am in the most horrid, pms-style, short-tempered, low on patience mood you could imagine. I only ever get that before AF arrives, but she's just been and gone.

So, instead of just thinking 'I'm in a shitty mood today', I'm all but ready to pee on a stick! But that would be a waste of money and I know that deep down ;)

I totally understand! TTC #1, just about to go into 3rd cycle, BFN this morning but no AF though due - what a tease. This month have been absolutely starving, tingly flaky nipples... but am not preggers as 14 dpo - would have had +ve by now. Drives you mad doesn't it?!?

I've been abnormally tired this week too but it could be any number of reasons why. Feel like I'm scrutinising every little thing!
No peeing on a stick until I'm at least one day past AF - must stay strong!!

Hi prty. I'm in a very similar position to you. I'm due af on Friday and am convinced my boobs are hurting/having random spasms, I've had weird dreams this week and been very tired. it's hard not to over analyse every little twinge isn't it? fx for you/us for next week!!

Small update
Now 9dpo and tonight I'm having a few cramps, kinda like period pain but not as strong or painful.
I'm very aware this could be PMS rather than implantation but I only ever get cramps as PMS the day before or of AF and I'm still 3ush days off due... got a horrible feeling she'll show up early tomorrow :/

don't rule yourself out just yet prty, it could well be implantation cramps, fx!

OH thinks my boobs look swollen and they are definitely sore... no spotting yet, which I often get a few days before AF. I'm not holding my breath because of not knowing for sure I even ovulated but fx for us all!!

So AF didn't rear her unwanted head yesterday, nor did she this morning. I'm due pretty much now give or take a day or two.
The cramps only lasted for that evening but I did find myself in a pretty snappy mood yesterday at work (but then everyone was as it was an incredibly tough day)
Really really really wanna POAS but cos it's our first I want OH to be around when I do and the first morning we will be together is Sunday - argh!! Also I'm getting up to pee between 1am and 3am every night - is this gonna affect my test results?!

shouldn't affect your results, if you wait until after af should have arrived you should have enough hormone in you to show up whenever you test anyway, I believe. fx the nighttime pees are a sign of pg! I've had no symptoms of imminent af - no spotting which I usually get. boobs still sore and I've got terrible wind I'm gonna test with OH on Saturday morning if no sign of af. here's hoping!

I hope so - if not then I need to see my doc about the peeing (or maybe I'm just getting old!

Nope - only cd15 today, thought I ov'd a couple of days ago but having really sharp twinges UK my front left side this evening... like I wanna press my fist into my hip joint to squish the pain. Best hop on the hubby just in case :)

I know its early still to see on tests, but I'm certain I'm just poorly as I have a bit of a fever, at first I thought I was, but now thinking its more of an infection as I'm just getting worse. If I get bad ill ring out of hours.

I've convinced myself it's anovulation cycle though... recently become obsessed with the idea that I've got PCOS, since my periods returned after years and years of the pill I seem to have one long cycle followed by a short, this month I'm due a longer cycle :/

Hi all, yes I did POAS on Thursday and got a BFP!! can't quite believe it, as it's our first month trying after a mmc in march so feeling quite apprehensive but optimistic. been very tired past few days and some nausea and cramping as well as the sore boobs (turns out it wasn't just my prodding!). fx for you all! x

Morning all, sad to report a BFN from this mornings POAS. I am only 1 day late for AF but pretty certain now it's anovulatory cycle sigh

Oh Prty, I'm so sorry :'( gutted for you. When you come to think of it, nature doesn't actually make it that easy to reproduce, does it? Ffs.
