TTC - anxious over early pregnancy possible symptoms?

Hi,
First time post so please be kind :)
Been TTC for 4 months now (though month 1 we missed my fertile window)
I'm around 5ish days from AF being due but wondering if I could be pregnant for a few reasons: I e been really struggling to sleep the past few nights and when I manage to I have really vivid dreams (the kind when you aren't sure if they have actually happened when you wake up) I've been peeing almost double what I normally would and every now and then I get a weird feeling in my stomach, in a similar place to where I have period pains but it's not pain, it's more like when you over extend a muscle, just a twinge then it's gone.
Was wondering if anyone had similar symptoms? Sorry to pour all this in here (you've probably heard it a million times before) but nobody knows we are TTC so I'm kinda on my own with this!
Thanks

Thanks Em, Ive gotta admit I never imagined it would be so tricky when we started TTC. 15 sexually active years of living in fear that a split condom or too much vomiting after taking my pill would change my life forever and now I want it to nothing bloody happens!

And there are so many people in the world who can't conceive or struggle to, while others get knocked-up without wanting to, mistreat their babies... yep, the world's a stupid place :(

In the meantime, we'll try to keep our chins up and try again next month! I'm cyclically a couple of weeks behind you, it seems, so we can spot each other while we're ttc! >_

PrtyPsn · 05/07/2015 13:12

Yep, the world is a cruel place sometimes :(
Of course - there is always next month and we must stay positive!
Nice to have another female to keep me company and if you're a few weeks behind me then that gives us something to get excited about on a rotating basis :£

Aye lass ;) think I'm just heading into the TWW so I'll keep you posted!

Much love xxxh x

PrtyPsn · 05/07/2015 16:45

Make sure you do!
And it ain't over til AF sings so I'll be sure to update with anything but at all over the next few days xx

Hi all am also on tww due af next sat the 11th. Second month of trying but as an older mum to be (43) I know I face a possible wait to fall pregnant. I know in past months when we have thought I might be my body has been very cruel and thrown every preg symptom going at me and just when I get all excited af arrives :(
So far so good am day 23 and one teeny bit of cramping earlier which has gone already and yesterday had metallic taste in mouth. No other symptoms though yet.

PrtyPsn · 05/07/2015 18:41

Hi Neetie :)
FX'd for you, we will help you count down those days and happy to chat symptoms (cruel bodies, huh?)
I'm 30 and on around month 4 of TTC #1 and it's already harder than I imagined!

OP posts:
neetie1 · 05/07/2015 20:16

Thanks, cramping is back but not bad just there so not sure what's happening.

EmFlat · 05/07/2015 22:16

Fx'd too, Neetie - metallic taste is a good sign!

MissPepper8 · 05/07/2015 22:22

So I um just had some spotting... cramps all day and actual spotting. Have no one else to tell as I'm afraid after my last miscarriage but crossing fingers.. my period is due Wednesday and it never starts off like that.

I'm sorry PrtyPsn it will happen, when you least expect it but it will, fingers crossed for you x

EmFlat · 05/07/2015 22:52

Crossing everything for you, MissP!

Just realised I never properly mentioned it (for those interested or comparing), I'm 35 and ttc #2 after being incredibly lucky and landing #1 quickly after coming off pill after a good 20 years... #2 proving much trickier at month 4 :/

PrtyPsn · 06/07/2015 07:14

FX'd MissP, don't lose hope just yet, stay positive and see what happens one day at a time. Thanks too for your well wishes, I'm sure it will happen, just frustrated right now.

Thanks for sharing Em, looks like we starting TTC around the same time this year :) FX'd #2 doesn't make you wait too long!

And you with #1, hon xxx

neetie1 · 06/07/2015 10:27

Morning more cramps today but not to bad but did have slight amount of light brown discharge :( am thinking maybe this isn't the month for us.

PrtyPsn · 06/07/2015 10:42

Thanks Em :) x
Aww Neetie, that sucks :( chin up for next month, lovely x
No more cramps for me but no AF either, a little more than normal colourless discharge this morning (sorry TMI!) so I'm guessing she's not far away...

OP posts:
neetie1 · 06/07/2015 18:21

Well cramps are just a dull feeling now and the light brown discharge has turned clear... all very odd

PrtyPsn · 06/07/2015 22:08

Could be an implantation bleed maybe?

OP posts:
neetie1 · 06/07/2015 23:09

Here's hoping. Breasts are not sore but they feel odd at times, not all the time just occasionally. Won't get hopes up just yet .

PrtyPsn · 07/07/2015 07:32

I know what you mean - I'm determined to keep my symptom spotting to a minimum for my next cycle! Still no AF for me this morning, CD34 so if she doesn't show in the next 48 hours it's gotta be anovulatory cycle this time round :/

OP posts:
neetie1 · 07/07/2015 16:02

Well nothing yet now day 25. Still teeny amounts of discharge when wiping etc bit nothing major and still dull cramping which seems to come and go.

PrtyPsn · 07/07/2015 16:59

FX'd and eyes and toes Neetie!! I've been in a strange limbo today of willing AF (so I know I did ovulate and I'm fertile) and willing it not to happen cos that's the ultimate in BFNs :(

OP posts:
neetie1 · 07/07/2015 18:44

Thanks hun, am thinking this isn't the month though wiped earlier and it was brighter red but not much...still there is always next month.

Have read different people say different times when they POAS for ovulation some said morning and some afternoon/evening, don't want to miss it. We were very active around OV time think hubby is surprised that we are not this month.

PrtyPsn · 07/07/2015 22:27

That totally blows Neetie :( least we can keep each other company for the next month :) x

OP posts:
neetie1 · 07/07/2015 23:28

Absolutely ????

PrtyPsn · 08/07/2015 11:20

Complete and utter double sucker punch-up the guts today - not only has AF made an appearance but not one minute later a friend who isn't TTC rang to tell me she's pregnant. Her and partner are over the moon and were so happy to let me know. Obviously I was pleased for her but I also feel like going back to bed and crying - she doesn't know I'm TTC and of course it was terrible timing that she couldn't do anything about that but it hurts.
