north I do that all the time... with a big bar of chocolate as I cry and it's totally self inflicted! :(

chasingtherainbow · 21/11/2014 22:03

Oh yay! You're all here. Great stuff.

Northdown, hope you're ok! I have a love hate relationship with OBEM.

Why is my body produceng so much fertile cm when it still thinks it's bloody pregnant! So confusing. Also, I have absolutely no way of knowing how long the high drop will take, no way of knowing when af will arrive after .. I just want normal cycles :'(

Oh Chasing I really feel for you - you are having a shockingly shit time at the moment.

North step away from OBEM - no good can come of this.

I'm sticking to this thread at the moment, so not ready to join anything else

Brummiegirl15 · 21/11/2014 22:18

I love that you are brimming with love though!!!!

Thanks Metal soooo early though and well we've all been here before

Treaclepie19 · 21/11/2014 22:18

Hi all :)

chasingtherainbow · 21/11/2014 22:33

Brummie, I've made a conscious rule that anyone who gets a bfp on this (or the previous) thread only gets sticky beans so you've got nothing to worry about. I know that doesn't help at all

I'm having one of those days where I'm dreaming about future children. . Buggies. . Names. . Upgrading the car etc.

I'm gonna enjoy this fantasy moment. No doubt I'll wake up tomorrow and come crashing down to earth.

Thanks chasing I'll take a sticky bean please. CD32 so am officially late... DH has confiscated all my HPTs after I did 6 on Sunday-Monday :)

HariboBrenshnio · 21/11/2014 22:48

Thanks for the new thread chasing! It must be so hard being in limbo, here's hoping AF turns up soon and re sets your cycles.

I'm also one for torturing myself. Had a good look at double prams in mothercare the other day 'just incase' (love the oyster max btw!). I know all these things will be so insignificant if/when I get a BFP. All I wish for is a healthy baby at the end of it.

brummie I have everything crossed that this is your sticky bean!

Gr33dyeggs · 21/11/2014 22:49

Congrats and hugs brummie!
I've received a letter today saying my complaint regarding no scan or bloods with mc is being investigated. .....
Had a shitty day today coz should have had 12 (13) week midwife appointment. My colleagues were lovely though.

Im taking spatone but still feeling utterly shattered. Drs on Monday so might ask for general bloods.

I hope people have a good weekend.

Thepurplegiraffe · 22/11/2014 07:18

Thanks for the new thread Chasing, hope you guys don't mind if I hang around a little longerSmile
Congratulations Brummie!

NewEraNewMindset · 22/11/2014 07:19

Congratulations Brummie Grin

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 22/11/2014 07:33

Huge congratulations brummie.

I just asked this question on the miscarriage forum but thought I'd post it here too in case any of you clever people can give any information:

"I have had a mmc confirmed this week. I would be 11 weeks now but it stopped developing at about 6 weeks. There was hardly anything in the sac.

The hospital said they couldn't offer erpc because it was too small. To be honest, I was hoping for surgical management because the waiting between scans has been awful.

Does anyone know why they wouldn't offer it? Is it just that they physically can't do it if that small or could it just be that they have a policy not to offer it because it's the NHS and they are under-resourced? I'm only wondering because I actually have private insurance which would cover the procedure and am trying to consider all my options.
I still have no pain or bleeding.
Thanks."

Brummiegirl15 · 22/11/2014 07:40

Hi Guy I'm so sorry you are still waiting.

I had an ERPC with my 2nd. I was 9 wks but had stopped growing at 6 wks. They tried to encourage me to have medical management but I pretty much told them to jog on.

I'd been in horrendous pain and I just wanted it all over but I had to really push and stamp my feet and basically say I was traumatised at thought of more pain.

I eventually got it but Christ I had to push for it. It comes down to cost and resources as you aren't considered an emergency. Shocking I know.

Try and insist and see how far you get. Big hugs

Brummiegirl15 · 22/11/2014 07:41

Thanks for all congrats peeps - early days yet but come on little bean please stick this time

Gr33dyeggs · 22/11/2014 08:11

* guy* I don't know. My first mc was 9weeks measuring 6 and from what I recall I was only given a week for things to happen naturally and then was told I would need intervention and both surgical and medical mentioned. This was 5 years ago but the 'service' differences nationwide are shocking.
Have you tried natural things to encourage it? I went on a long walk and drank lots of pineapple juice. The waiting is awful.

MrsConfusion · 22/11/2014 10:12

Just marking place, thanks for new thread

Treaclepie19 · 22/11/2014 10:59

Oh my gosh how did i miss that? Congrats brummie :)

cloudjumper · 22/11/2014 11:09

Guy, I've had this with my second and third mc - basically, if the sac is too small, there is too much risk that they could cause damage when removing it.

Congrats, brummie!
