Great news bunny! Congratulations!

Hope everyone else is well. I'm convinced I'm ovulating but oh is overseas. Had a proper fertility-related wobble yesterday but feeling more positive today.

tigerdog · 10/02/2014 19:39

Lovely news bunny!

sid I am impressed with your restraint. I would have cracked and poas by now!

feather sorry about the bad timing for ovulation. We had the same issue this cycle so don't think we really dtd enough at the right time. Did you choose a wedding dress yet btw?

because here's hoping the strange smells are sign!

So many people on or about to board the IVF train! This should be a thread that brings results!! Love the ace of base reference, have been unable to get 'all that she wants' out of my head all day!

Nothing much going on here, 6 dpo and just plodding through 2ww. Busy with baby related stuff this week - a baby shower for a friend on Sunday, children's birthday party on Saturday and free time spent making cupcakes and finishing off a baby patchwork quilt and cushion. Have bought extra material in the hope that the next things I will be making will be for my baby!

IamKuma · 10/02/2014 20:20

HB Co Enzyme Q10 is an antioxidant and is thought to increase egg quality, which is useful if you have low ovarian reserve. Article here

FeatherFeather11 · 10/02/2014 21:43

tiger no dress yet! Freaking out a bit now.
The last time we dtd was five days ago just before he left, so I think we will have missed the window. I think the important thing to remember in all this ttc stuff is that it only takes ONE single sperm to make it happen. And consider that men make 1000 sperm every second (yes, really) and we have that one egg a month. Anyway, I'm just twittering on now. I guess what I'm trying to say is, who knows!

Also, I think you're rather amazing to be doing all that baby stuff without going mental. You are a bigger woman than me. doffs cap Grin

funkymonk · 10/02/2014 21:46

Just dropping in to say yay to babybunny!!! Fab stuff!

5dpo here and nothing to report. Will pop back in tomorrow to catch up on new thread and vagina jacks asap! Pooped after full day of interviewing so off to bed!

Parsley2506 · 10/02/2014 22:47

Also just popping in today congrats to Bunny, wonderful news!!!

funky I'm 4dpo - we can 2ww together! I am on jury service this week which is proving the perfect distraction!

Will catch up properly later, on silly phone atm. Hope everyone is well!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 11/02/2014 01:28

Thunder, yes that really helps, thank you! I'm in exactly the same boat - going to a private endocrinologist hoping to get TSH

happylass · 11/02/2014 07:33

AF is in the building as expected. Not too upset though as for the next few months I can console myself with the fact that I get to wear my lovely wedding dress/drink on my hen/enjoy my honeymoon. Obviously not as good as a BFP but a pretty decent booby prize! Adding myself to the list...

Feather, 35, ttc since sep 2012. pcos and one tube, 6 x clomid, 1bfp, ectopic Nov 13. Waiting for cycle to regulate and having acupuncture.
barkingtreefrog 34, ttc since Jan '12, clomid bfp ended in mc Sept '13. Cycles absent or screwed since then (short LP anyway before that). FC appointment to talk IVF referral in March.
bluebirdy 30, TTC 2.5 years in all, starting IVF (ICSI) in May/June, deludingly hoping for a FUFC before then!
Happylass 35 until Friday cycle 15, awaiting next appointment at FC to hopefully formulate some type of action plan.

happylass · 11/02/2014 10:38

Bloody hell berries had 2 letters from the FC today. One to say that my AMH is 6.2 and 'lower end of normal' and another to say that DPs SA showed that the volume and motility are fine but there may be a problem with it 'clumping and sticking'. Are we buggered???

SidneyBristow · 11/02/2014 17:16

Hello hello, is this mic on? Where has everyone gone? Hmm

happylass · 11/02/2014 17:42

Have I killed the thread with my negative news?!? Quick get Boodle to do a strip, that'll get them flocking back Grin

BoodleDoo · 11/02/2014 17:44

Do All That She Wants on the karaoke! That'll get everyone back in here (to tell you to shut the f* up...) Grin

Patiently waiting for AF over here. I wasn't sure if FF got my ov date right this month but, assuming it did, I'm 9 dpo and without spotting, which is good and maybe thanks to the op or the acu...I don't know which. However, if my temp dip was dodgy, then I'm only 7dpo and therefore expect spotting from tomorrow. I suspect the latter...

SidneyBristow · 11/02/2014 17:45

I don't think it was your worrisome letter that did it happy; maybe everyone is out sandbagging their houses?

BoodleDoo · 11/02/2014 17:46

Happy, just reading your worries about your results; I'm was bummed about the low amh at first but the only impact it's had is to skip iui and go straight to IVF.

happylass · 11/02/2014 17:56

Arrrrgh my eyes! Wink

What was your AMH Boodle? Don't really understand it all tbh. If I'm OVing what's the problem?
Am more concerned about the clumpy sperm. Am guessing if it's clumping it ain't swimming!

BoodleDoo · 11/02/2014 18:01

My poor boob is offended now...Wink

My AMH was 11.6, but that was taken at the age of 30, so not very good at all. My acu lady told me off for stressing though and said it wouldn't be a problem at all.

SidneyBristow · 11/02/2014 18:13

Would you like to hear something kind of encouraging? possibly even a little shocking?

Grin
RevoltingPeasant · 11/02/2014 18:16

Happy can you ring and ask what it means??

Right Confused gulp.

Today I was at home waiting for the cavity wall insulation man - it doesn't get more exciting - who came and said we couldn't have CWI cos of the age of our house......so feeling bummed and like I'd wasted an afternoon, I thought I'd ring the GP on the off chance she had an appt left for today.... She did....and I'm now on a referral to the fertility clinic Shock

I seriously thought I'd have to argue for ages but she said we had been trying long enough.

Bad news, though, is they only do x 1 ivf cycle here on the NHS. She said IUI or ICSI (which I don't know much about yet) might be options first, but they needed to do tests first. So I have blood tests next week and DH needs to take 2 buckets o jizz sperm samples to the hospital. He's going to love that Hmm

This is so weird. I know I'm not, but I suddenly feel like I'm looking at the end of my fertility options. It was so weird seeing her go through the "infertility protocol" screens on her computer....

DH away tonight and I don't really know how I feel about it all Confused

RevoltingPeasant · 11/02/2014 18:16

Sid WHAT??

happylass · 11/02/2014 18:23

RP I get that feeling every time we go to the FC. It's like 'this isn't the way it's meant to be' and 'how the hell did this happen?' but I keep telling myself it's the destination not the journey that counts. When we all get our babies we won't give two hoots about how we did it!
I have to wait til our next appointment to discuss anything. No idea when that is but apparently we are being sent for soon.....
Yes Sid always up for hearing something shocking!

Sid cramps are a good sign... Its the embie burrowing into your lining and it will feel just like AF cramps, try not to worry
Congrats (again). Seat ready for you in the chopper when you dare you're ready

happylass · 11/02/2014 18:35

Omg Sid!!! I can't believe you've kept this quiet all day! This is amazing news! I can see you are being cautious but I'm delighted and I literally have every last digit crossed for you!!
