Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

If this month's does not work, I will probably be on the December/January bus given DH and I may be separated by thousands of miles in November...

I'll hop on! We're not trying this month but will be next cycle which will hopefully end in a bfp in December! Not sure how I'll justify not drinking alcohol around Christmas. Everyone will guess straight away!

I hate that, whole if ur not drinking u must be pregnant and hiding it ..... Errrrr no .... Perhaps I'm trying for like ages and everyone assuming I'm pregnant already is depressing, when all I can think is 'I wish'

I think I'm known for not socialising properly at work get togethers coz I don't go, as I won't be drinking!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one heading for Dec already, thanks fellow passengers!

I'm hoping that the bfps will just roll in for all of us and I don't worry about Christmas drinking as a result of that. If not, it will be much wine!

Hyland, I'm 5 days before I expected as well, so I'm just tagging on the end of Nov bus and hoping it will be Dec bus for me because AF won't arrive Smile.

SnowBells fingers crossed this month is it for you!

Starting us off anyway, I'll get info going if anyone else wants to contribute theirs for their bus tickets to be printed Smile.

I've been waiting for this bus! I'm glad it's turned up early- It's nice to have somewhere warm to sit while waiting for December Grin

Same time last year I was waiting for January. If things had worked out the way I'd totally irrationally hoped I'd have a baby by now. Nevermind! Optimistically looking forward to starting 2014 with a BFP Grin

Hi! I'm new to ttc and been lurking for a while waiting for the December bus to come around. We're not trying until the start of dec should should get a bfp about the 20th Grin very excited cus this will be #1

I'll hop on the December bus if that's ok! I think I've missed the November bus? Very new to this, we started dtd on the 27th which was CD13. Periods are still slightly unpredictable after being off the pill for four months. Who knows? TTC has invaded my brain well and truly though! I feel a bit crazy xx

Hello! First time I've posted here - I've been lurking though! I'm starting to TTC next month so will be on this bus. I'm nervous as I am a little old (34) and a bit fat Sad so I think it might take a while!

I'd like to hop on the December bus. Finish my final pill pack in 3 days and TTC for the first time for baby #1 with DH. A bit hard to work out when I should test as not sure if my cycle is going to kick in straight away, but will probably test about early / mid December if AF doesn't appear. Crossing fingers for everyone! x

Cycle 24, and ttc no.2, 1st December ( even with me starting 5 days early) it will still probably stick to the 1st, time will tell.

I'm 34 and getting worried that it's taking so long, doctors are useless and unsympathetic, I have a daughter aged 11.

Yay! Was thinking I would have to wait til the end of the month for December. Like some others we are waiting til December but I did hop on the November bus just in case we got carried away dtd!

According to my app thing I should be; BFP 17th but my cycles are all over the shop so may change.

Hey can I join please, I’m not sure whether to go on the Nov or Dec bus! Have AF at the moment, but my cycles are 35-37 days so would make my BFP about 3/4th Dec. TTC no.2, cycle 4. Good luck to everyone!

Hi all. I am provisionally going to jump aboard too. Having had a mc and ERPC in September I am not very patiently waiting on AF returning. Fingers crossed she appears soon and we can get on with TTC.

akachan you are not old. I was 37 and a bit fat when DD was conceived/born and am now 39.

I'm a teacher and I was wondering if anyone else has been waiting for dec to start ttc so it fits in with the school year? I got married in the summer and have been waiting (very impatiently) since then to start!

Chumbies2001 yes, all timed so we hopefully conceive in December for a Sept baby to get maximum maternity! I married in June 2012 but have been waiting to settle down in my teaching job before going off on mat!

That's what I had planned but I have been lurking on here a while now and realised that ttc might not just happen the first month of trying so trying not to get my hopes up too much if it doesn't happen straight away. Going to be hard though!

Yeah me too, I feel the same, in a perfect world we will be pregnant in December but realise it may be later and we should just be blessed whatever happens, some couples don't have the luxury at all!

As long as it doesn't come before September will be fine, I'd like an child that is older in the year!
