Planning ahead for Christmas! December bus starting far too early...

Hi All,

Anyone else around for the Dec bus yet? I think AF has managed to kick me off Nov already as she has arrived a few days early, and my cycle will probably mean she is next due at the beginning of Dec rather than Nov.

So does anyone else want to climb on board and help me hang tinsel and drink mulled wine to while away the time until that bfp in Dec?

Yeah I hope so we dtd two days before and one day after ov (well Im guestimating ov but you get what I mean )

oh SMF...seriously its mad how many policies and procedures are in place just to get this up and running...im scared about their visit lol!!!! someone pass me the wine!!!

Keep that seat SMF whilst I hop off and pop home to raid the booze cupboard. We have a ridiculous amount sat there if any requests.

With DD i just popped a couple of folic acid and peed on a stick to see when i would ovulate, oh look it's today, lets dtd. and DD came out of that.

This time i have been taking folic acid since about July, peed on sticks, pinpointed ovulation and ewcm, dtd lots but no good. frustrating! Even DP takes his vits!

Anyway, going to shrug it off now!

Does anyone use ovuline app? Where are you mammabear, you might be able to help me! It's giving me a fertility score of 7.5, on the 3rd day of AF?? Surely this is incorrect...personal preference is not to dtd during AF but scared I may bloody well have to!! It might have to be a shower quickie if that's the case??

Why is that everywhere I look, everyone is either pregnant or holding a baby? I am in a huff today for some reason. I'm off to see a friend who is 6 months pregnant with her first. I'm delighted for her, but not in the mood today.

Probably because I got in an absolute flap last night and couldn't get to sleep for about 3 hours worrying whether ttc to right now is the best plan, timing is just madness - we are above to move 600 miles away in January, I have had to resign because of the move and don't have a new job lined up because I can't get down to where we are moving for interviews, DH is about to start a horrendously hard course.

But then I remember no time is ever right. We had wanted to start ttc in Jan this year, but DH has been delployed for 6 months of this year. We were only supposed to move next summer, not Jan. We just need to get on with it. And we are only at the beginning, I have nothing to complain about with ttc so far in comparison to so many.

Just feeling meh today! Anyone else want to share mince pies and mulled something and join me in a mutter about this ttc business?

Lucyfluff ofsted before Christmas is just mean! I don't think they should be allowed to visit in December apart from to bestow wine and chocolates! I hope you get on ok.

Hey Barmey, I feel exactly the same, want a baby, but keep worrying is it the right time, I own a hair salon, my business partner is off till march on Mat leave, works busy and hard going at times and then all I can think of is how much mat leave I will take, I can't take nine months as I'm self employed and don't get paid that much, and I worry about all my clients and will my business partner contribute the hours like I have for her. It's all I can think off!!
But then I feel extremely disappointed when I don't get a bfp. Can't win!! Rant over x x

barmy total sympathy on having to see your preggo friend. it's hard when we see other people with exactly what we want so bad. i'm sure you'll have a nice time though

AF is not only unwelcome this month but she's really hurting. oowwwwwww.

got to order all our wedding table numbers and name cards tonight. for the table names we're doing numbers (how many days we've been together, what year we got together, how many kids i want, how many kids DP wants etc). All the numbers will be explained. If we'd managed to get a BFP we'd have done a cryptic number whch was going to be 'how many weeks preggo i was at the wedding'. Guess we'll scrap that idea then :(

missvaughan thank you for that! I needed to hear a mutual rant. I know no time is ever right, life goes on, but when you are in that 2ww and nothing seems to be happening either way I find I just start questioning everything!

That is hard going when you own your own company as well, it's a big responsibility to try to plan around, especially with your business partner on mat leave currently. But you have to do what feels right for you, and just hope for the best I think.

As you say, that disappointment is there at seeing BFNs appearing and that in itself is what I am trying to focus on - not the disappointment, but that it clearly means it is the right time because we want it so desperately!

I am an awful control freak, I like my life planned to the nth degree... it doesn't go well when married to someone in the military! I think I am still dealing with the change where we are moving much sooner than we planned and I am having to leave my teaching post in a school I absolutely love. Even though it was a join decision, and I decided to move with DH rather than stay here and have him weekly commute, it still feels meh!

As you say, you can't win. I guess that bfp will appear when it is meant to, and life will go on! Hope you are ok!

Punky I love the numbers idea, that is really clever . I'm sorry stupid AF has turned up. It's really hard not to focus on the things like that when are hoping for your bfp. Sending you a hug and a large glass of wine! How is the rest of your wedding planning going?

Hey bexboo that doesn't seem right at all!! It goes off peak fertility as being 2 weeks from your first day of AF cos there's no way it can check when you personally ovulate as some women ov sooner or later than that in their cycle so it goes on 2 weeks as a general rule. My AF is due anytime now and I'm apparently 1.0, won't be 7.5 until mon 16th!! I don't know if any of that has cleared it up?? If you put the data in as spotting it maybe hasn't counted it as a proper AF?

Hi ladies, congrats on the BFPs so far and sorry to those who've had a visit from AF. Just checking in as lost the thread somehow. ... dont fully understand my cycle yet (been tracking since came off the pill 7ish weeks ago) but think I ov'd Fri/Sat. Been eating Brazil nuts and drinking milk as heard they help implantation and trying not to symptom spot. Have had a big increase in CM today amd some mega AF style cramps...trying not to gwt my hopes up as think its too early for anything yet...could just be AF on her way early as things aren't settled yet (hopefully not though! )

I just got my BFP!!!!!! Really strange as I've felt like AF has been coming the last week. I did a test last night and it was negative but got a. Lear positive is morning. Yey!!! Love my cbfm.
